Few questions - interview with death metal band from USA - SKULLCRUSH.

Few questions - interview with death metal band from USA - SKULLCRUSH.

Interview conducted by the Ideal Master of the Holy Crypt.

Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? – When was it founded and what style of music do you play , etc.?

Skullcrush was conceived October MMXVII by the Ideal Master of the Holy Crypt and the Grand Marshall of Hell, set to unleash raw and unfiltered death metal upon the Earth.

Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering?

Visions of the Firestorm Eclipse was recorded and mixed at the Master’s Chambers by Olibanum and mastered by the Tyrant of Sin.

How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, cassette)?

An unknown quantity of cassettes are currently being distributed to those who searched. While the amount is unknown, it is indeed limited.

Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with?

Lyrics were envisioned by the High Seeker of Apocrypha and speak about war and the grim histories that revolve around war.

Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important?

Logo and artwork was created by Svch Is Life, layout for the release was conducted by Folkvangr.

Skullcrush will abstain from social networks as the presence of one bears little importance to the extent that our music will reach an audience. If people want to listen to our music, they will either listen to it an like it or tell us to fuck off, regardless of how much or how little we shove it down their throats. Extreme self-promotion does nothing but hinder the drive to keep producing quality material, and therefore Skullcrush has relied on the voice of those who were willing to give us a chance and spread our plague upon the masses.

Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takés care about you?

A conspiracy with Camo Pants Records was chosen for the inspiring determination of its creator to present the raw underground to a broader audience, not to mention his utmost faith and trust he continues to put towards the band and our endeavors. Truly this has been one of the best experiences I have had with a label.

Which bands do you idolise and where do you get your inspiration?

There is no particular band(s) we idolize or draw inspiration from, but it is safe to say we have strong connections to the Scandinavian music scene, for by listening to Skullcrush one can find inspiration from the various sub-genera of that region.

How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

Our first live performance will take place in August. No further information at this moment.

What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?

Skullcrush has no interest in extensive touring and instead will continue to release as much music as we can until we die and rot away; only then will our purpose be revealed.

How and where can your fans contact you? Can you provide some contact information?

Contact through our label and the Creator will guide you to our domain:

camopantsrecords@gmail.com

Thanx for the interview.
