Mučení staré jako lidstvo samo. Ano, mluvím o ukřižování. Visíte hlavou dolů a do nohou vám zrovna vrážejí další hřeb. Prosíte o milost a z rány vám vytéká očišťující krev. Alespoň tak to vnímá ten pán zahalený v kápi. Uběhly tisíce let a je to stále stejné. Nenávist plodí nenávist, zlo má mnoho podob a šance zachovat si čistý štít je čím dál tím těžší. Už dávno nejsme páni svých životů, jsme jenom loutky v rukou jiných. Utíkáme pryč a stejně nás nakonec chytnou a pověsí na kříž.

Polští BANISHER jsou kapelou, kterou mám moc rád. Jako jedni z mála umí zahrát technický brutální death metal takovým způsobem, že jen neproběhne bez povšimnutí kolem mě. Každá skladba je pro mě hřebem, který je zatlučen do mého těla. Rána postupně zhnisá a hudba uvaří mozek v mé lebce. Tohle album má velkou sílu!

"Degrees Of Isolation" je velmi pestrým pokrmem. Pokud bychom si představili desku jako paletu barev, nalezli bychom na ní jak klasický death metal, tak i ten technický a progresivní. Kapela se nebojí ani temnoty a výsledkem je nahrávka, která ve mě zanechala pořádně krvavou stopu. Navíc zde máme co do činění s velmi dobrými muzikanty. To by samo o sobě ještě nic neznamenalo, ale polští maniaci umí i složit skvělé motivy. Perfektní je i zvuk (Invent-Sound Studio) i obal (Łukasz Jaszak). Deska v sobě obsahuje spoustu různých černých zákoutí, sází se na tlak, tak i na atmosféru. Takhle nějak si představuji současné perfektní extrémní dílo. Fanoušci třeba takových DECAPITATED, SUFFOCATION, HATE ETERNAL, PESTILENCE, DEATH, THE FACELESS, CRYPTOPSY i mých oblíbených LOST SOUL, by měli zbystřit pozornost. Dostanou totiž do ruky natlakovanou třaskavinu, která jim každou chvíli může utrhnout ruce. Další hřeb zajíždí do mé hlavy, další skladba v mém přehrávači. S tímhle albem budu trávit ještě dlouhý čas. Je totiž skvělé. Brutální technický death metal, který vás ukřižuje a nechá vykrvácet!

Polish BANISHER is a band that I like a lot. As one of the few, they can play technical brutal death metal in such a way that it just doesn't go around me without I have noticed it. Every song is for me like a nail that is hammered into my body. The wound gradually rots and the music cooks the brain in my skull. This album has great power!

"Degrees of Isolation" is a very miscellaneous dish. If we imagined the album as a palette of colors, we would find there classical death metal, as well as a technical and progressive one. The band is not afraid of darkness and the result is a record that left a really bloody mark in me. Moreover, we are dealing here with very good musicians. That would not mean anything by itself, but Polish maniacs can even make really great motives. The sound (Invent-Sound Studio) and the cover art (Łukasz Jaszak) are also perfect. The album contains a lot of different black corners, everything is bet on pressure and atmosphere. That's how I imagine today's perfect extreme work. Fans of the bands like DECAPITATED, SUFFOCATION, HATE ETERNAL, PESTILENCE, DEATH, THE FACELESS, CRYPTOPSY and my favorite LOST SOUL, should focus their attention. They get pressurized explosive substance into their hands, which can tear their hands off at every moment. Another nail goes into my head, another song in my player. I will spend a lot of time with this album. Because it's great. A brutal technical death metal that crucifies you and causes you to bleed to death!
