Ve starých katakombách, hluboko pod zemí, kam nikdo sto let nepřišel, jsem pocítil divný chlad v zádech. Po stěnách stékal hnis a chodbami se vznášel šepot nemrtvých. Pod nohama mi praskaly kosti prokletých a lebky se smály tichým, jedovatým smíchem. Pokaždé mi to chvilku trvá, než najdu správnou hrobku. Než muziku vstřebám a nasaji jako zkaženou krev. DISGUSTING PERVERSION - jméno, napsané hned nad vchodem. Jedná se o starý, plesnivý hrob, ve kterém je pohřben pravý, plesnivý death metal.
Kapele jsem se již jednou věnoval. Bylo to v roce 2020 (odkaz na recenzi nahrávky "Eternity of Death" a rozhovor je dole pod článkem). Pánové i letos pokračují ve své morbidní práci. A dělají ji velmi uvěřitelně, přesvědčivě. Hroby jsou opět exhumovány s elegancí starých mistrů.
Poslech "Remember Me" je jako procházka po starém, opuštěném hřbitově. Na náhrobcích můžeme nalézt jména vzorů, u kterých se kapela inspirovala. DEATH, GRAVE, MASSACRE, SOLSCTICE, MASTER, ASPHYX, PESTILENCE, nověji pak SKELETAL REMAINS, INCARCERATION, REVEL IN FLESH, SULPHUR AEON, COFFIN ROT, WITCH VOMIT, KURNUGIA, abych zmínil alespoň některé. Mě se ale nejvíc líbí způsob, jakým pánové skládají. Songy v sobě totiž mají takový ten starodávný drive a feeling, kterými se vždy pyšnili jen ti nejlepší. Samozřejmě, není to nic nového, ani převratného, ale hudba mi opravdu velmi chutná. Radost mám i z úžasného obalu od mistra Juanja Castellana, kterého již dlouhé roky řadím mezi nejlepší malíře coverů. Parádně ošklivý, chladný a temný je i zvuk, u kterého se dostavuje kýžený zabijácký efekt. Víka od rakví praskají tlakem! Jsem starý fanoušek smrti v hudbě a k poslechu si nahrávky velmi pečlivě vybírám. DISGUSTING PERVERSION jsem si i s jejich druhým albem zapsal do své osobní Knihy mrtvých. Rád se k desce vracím, poslouchám ji nejraději při svých nekonečných toulkách po opuštěných chrámech, v katakombách, kde není žádné světlo nebo v ulicích našeho města, když padne těžký smog. "Remember Me" je zásah přímo do živého! Prašivý death metal, který odsekává maso od kostí!

Pus dripped down the walls and the whispers of the undead floated through the corridors. The bones of the damned cracked beneath my feet and the skulls laughed a low, poisonous laugh. It takes me a while to find the right tomb each time. Before I absorb the music and soak it up like tainted blood. DISGUSTING PERVERSION - the name written just above the entrance. This is an old, mouldy grave where true, mouldy death metal is buried.
I've already covered the band once. It was in 2020 (link to the review of "Eternity of Death" and interview is below the article). The gentlemen continue their morbid work this year. And they do it very believably, convincingly. The graves are once again exhumed with the elegance of the old masters.
Listening to "Remember Me" is like walking through an old, abandoned cemetery. On the tombstones we can find the names of the inspiration for the band. DEATH, GRAVE, MASSACRE, SOLSCTICE, MASTER, ASPHYX, PESTILENCE, and more recently SKELETAL REMAINS, INCARCERATION, REVEL IN FLESH, SULPHUR AEON, COFFIN ROT, WITCH VOMIT, KURNUGIA, to name a few. But what I like the most is the way the gentlemen compose. The songs have that old-time drive and feeling that only the best have always had. Of course, it's nothing new or revolutionary, but I really like the music. I'm also happy about the amazing cover artwork by the master Juan Castellano, whom I've counted among the best cover artists for many years. The sound is also awesomely ugly, cold and dark, with the desired killer effect. The coffin lids are bursting with pressure! I'm an old fan of death in music and choose my recordings to listen to very carefully. DISGUSTING PERVERSION, along with their second album, have been added to my personal Book of the Dead. I like to return to the record, listening to it most of all during my endless wanderings in abandoned temples, in catacombs where there is no light or in the streets of our city when the heavy smog falls. "Remember Me" is a hit right in the flesh! Dusty death metal that cuts the flesh from the bones!
