Zemřel jsem již tolikrát, že to nelze spočítat. Jsem stínem, jsem vaším svědomím. Pokaždé, když se stane něco zlého, stojím ve stínu a usmívám se. Odpočívám na hřbitovech, spím v márnicích. Sleduji tenkou hranici mezi naším a oním světem. Neváhej, podej mi svoji ruku, převedu tě na druhou stranu. Je to tak lákavé, znovu zemřít. Sledovat, jak z tvé tváře uniká život. Poslechni si novou desku legendárních PENTAGRAM CHILE a uslyšíš řev démonů.

Tohle je hudba, kterou uctívám dlouhé roky. Jedna ze zásadních kapel Jižní Ameriky je pro mě srdcovou záležitostí. Sleduji jejich cestu a užívám si každou novou hudbu, kterou vydají. Již po několika prvních setkáních vím, že jsou letos ve velmi dobré formě. Tohle je stará škola, zahraná s neutuchající vírou v temnotu. Kosti praskají tlakem!

Je vám doufám jasné, že přistupuji k této kapela s pokorou. Jejich hudba mě provází celý můj život a rád se k ní často vracím. Letos mě opět nezklamali. Vím, že bych měl napsat i nějakou kritiku, ale žádnou jsem nenalezl. Zvuk i obal jsou velmi povedené a tak se mohu plně soustředit na jednotlivé nápady. Těch je opravdu velké množství. Riffy i jednotlivé motivy jsou napsány přesně tím způsobem, který mám na téhle smečce tolik rád. Kapela vždycky měla svůj zřetelný a jasný rukopis. Stačí pár prvních tónů a hned víte, že to jsou oni. Pokaždé spolu sestoupíme do hlubokého sklepa, několik pater dolů. Zde, v tom nejhlubším podzemí, do kterého vždycky tihle Chilan patřili, se poslouchají nejlépe. Pamatuji si, že když jsem před devíti lety navštívil koncert u nás v České republice (report je odkazován dole pod článkem), zažil jsem něco neskutečného. Splnil se mi jeden z mých dlouholetých snů. S novou deskou to mám velmi podobné. Tento měsíc vyšlo velké množství nové muziky, ale "Eternal Life of Madness" jsem poslouchal a budu poslouchat nejvíce. Neznám nic lepšího, než mrazivou místnost, opuštěný hřbitov nebo starý prokletý chrám. Postupně přidávám hlasitost a užívám si ostré kytary, chorobný vokál i zdrcující bicí. To vše opředené pradávnými pavučinami. Je to jako otevřít práchnivějící rakev a nalézt v ní tělo prokletého kněze. Stačí několik skladeb a rozpadne se v prach. PENTAGRAM CHILE mi letos opět pustili žilou. Klaním se až k zemi. Tohle je i moje krev. Zemřel jsem již tolikrát, že to nelze spočítat. Jsem stínem, jsem vaším svědomím. Pokaždé, když se stane něco zlého, stojím ve stínu a usmívám se. Odpočívám na hřbitovech, spím v márnicích. Sleduji tenkou hranici mezi naším a oním světem. Pradávný, chorobami nasáklý a pavučinami opředený thrash death metal od starých mistrů hrobníků! Démoni se opět procházejí mezi náhrobky!

This is music I've worshipped for years. One of South America's seminal bands is a matter of the heart for me. I follow their journey and enjoy every new music they release. I know after the first few times I've seen them that they are in very good form this year. This is old school, played with an undying faith in the darkness. Bones are cracking under the pressure!

I hope it is clear to you that I approach this band with humility. Their music has been with me all my life and I like to come back to it often. This year they have not let me down again. I know I should write some criticism, but I haven't found any. The sound and the cover are very good and I can concentrate on the ideas. There are a lot of them. The riffs and individual themes are written in exactly the way I like so much about this pack. The band has always had a distinct and clear signature. Just the first few notes and you know it's them. Every time we go down to the deep basement together, several floors down. Here, in the deepest underground, where these Chileans have always belonged, they are best listened to. I remember that when I attended a concert in the Czech Republic nine years ago (the report is linked below the article), I experienced something unreal. One of my longtime dreams came true. I have a very similar situation with the new board. A lot of new music came out this month, but "Eternal Life of Madness" is the one I have listened to and will listen to the most. I don't know anything better than a freezing room, an abandoned graveyard or an old cursed temple. I gradually turn up the volume and enjoy the sharp guitars, the morbid vocals and the crushing drums. All wrapped in ancient cobwebs. It's like opening a stinking coffin and finding the body of a cursed priest. A few songs and it crumbles into dust. PENTAGRAM CHILE have let my vein run wild again this year. I bow to the ground.
