Otevírám těžká dřevěná vrata a jsem v očekávání. Co mě čeká? Nepohltí mě temnota? Jak budou mrtví vypadat? Nový hřbitov, tentokrát v dalekém Minsku. Opuštěná hrobka s nápisem VISTERY. Uprostřed chladné místnosti sedí kostlivec a drží v rukou novou desku "Death Is Dead". Přimhouřím oči proti světlu, odrhnu pavučiny z jeho kostí a začnu album poslouchat. Má obavy se naplnily, temnota mě opravdu pohltí.

VISTERY hrají klasický, tradiční death metal. Sázejí na studené, morbidní melodie a pochmurné nálady. "Death Is Dead" je jejich třetí, dlouhohrající nahrávkou a opět se jedná o pořádně drtivý zásek do starých rakví.

"Death Is Dead" je velmi propracovaným kusem shnilého díla. Líbí se mi krutý zvuk i velmi dobře zpracovaný obal. Hlavní jsou ale nápady a těch je na nové desce velká spousta. Nahrávka se velmi dobře poslouchá, proniká pomalu do morku kostí a způsobuje velkou bolest. Občas sice VISTERY v některých momentech ztrácejí na intenzitě, ale jsou to opravdu jen chvilky, které nedokáží narušit celkový morbidní dojem. Běloruská úderka odvedla skvělou práci. Pohybují se přesně v těch starých opuštěných katakombách, kde to mám tolik rád. Houpu se do rytmu, kopu si vlastní hrob. Přemýšlím o nesmrtelnosti Krista a u toho porcuji další mrtvé tělo. Pokud máte chuť na death metal, jak vystřižený ze starých učebnic, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Tohle album pálí, sálá, devastuje! Není v ničem nové, ani převratné, ale sype se jako lavina. Masakr! Velmi dobře!

I open a heavy wooden door and I´m waiting. What should I expect? Will the darkness cover me? How the dead look like? A new cemetery, this time in far Minsk. An abandoned tomb with the sign VISTERY. In the middle of a cool room, a skeleton sits and hold the new album “Death Is Dead”. I squint my eyes against the light, throw the spider web from his bones and I start to listen to the album. My fears have been fulfilled, the darkness will cover me.

VISTERY play the classic, traditional death metal. They put cold, morbid melodies and gloomy moods into their music. “Death Is Dead” is their third, long-played album and once again it is a very smashing hit in old coffins.

“Death Is Dead” is a very well-worked piece of rotten work. I like the cruel sound and also the very nicely put together cover. The most important are the ideas and there are many of those on this album. The album is easy to listen, it goes into your bones slowly and makes a lot of pain. Although VISTERY sometimes sounds that the intensity is fading, those moments are very rare and they cannot break the overall morbid impression. This Belarusian strike did a great job. The are in the exact abandoned catacombs which I really like. I swing in the rhythm and I am digging my own grave. I am thinking about the immortality of Chirst and I am cutting down another dead body. If you have a taste for death metal which is the classic one, do not hesitate. This album burns, shines and devastates! It is not new at all, nor revolutionary but it´s like an avalanche. Massacre! Very good!
