Zbytky krve na kameni. Uprostřed lesů, v temnotě. Lovci a jejich oběti, bestie ze starých časů, které se vrátily na zem, aby se pomstily za světlo. Tajemné symboly, jako vzpomínka na dobu, kdy se obětovalo démonům. Mám rád hudbu, která je špinavá, kolem které se vznáší černá aura. AFFLICTION VECTOR z Itálie jsou novou smečkou, která uctívá dlouhé stíny. Jedná se o dvojici muzikantů (Stefano S. - Drums, Ans - Vocals, Guitars, Bass), kteří vás pozvou na dlouhou cestu bez konce. Směřuje rovnou do záhrobí, do starých opuštěných jeskyní, ve kterých přebývají nemrtví.
Tahle smečka vám půjde rovnou po krku. Svět v jejich podání je velmi nihilistický, zahalený do krvavé mlhy i černých mraků. Nevím, jestli jste někdy zažili vichřici v katakombách, ale pokud ne, tak stačí zapnout play na vašem přehrávači. Z reproduktorů se na vás vyhrne hnis, zlo i nahrubo nasekaná tma.
Pro mě osobně je nové album velmi návykové. Má takovou zvláštní, temnou, magickou, neklidnou a zároveň přitažlivou atmosféru. Jako bych navštívil znesvěcený kostel a zúčastnil se černé mše. Oltář je připraven. Poslouchat tuhle nahrávku, je jako trávit čas v absolutní tmě. Někde hluboko v lesích, kde se scházeli prokletí, aby se ujistili ve své zvrácené víře. Zvuk i obal považuji za velmi povedené. Soustřeďme se ale na hudbu samotnou, o tu jde vždy především. Jsem spokojen. Při každém společném obřadu mám pocit, že na mě sáhla samotná smrt. Mrazí mě v zádech, moje nebohé tělo je pevně spoutané pavučinami. Zemřel jsem? Přešel jsem na druhou stranu? Ležím tu v otevřené rakvi a čekám na první riff. Jakmile prořízne těžký, smradlavý vzduch kolem, tak vstaneme z hrobů. Jsme jako stíny, jako duše, které nenajdou nikdy klid. Máte rádi kapely jako TEITANBLOOD, POSSESSION a VENEFIXION? Potom jste zde správně. Nejvíc se mi osvědčil poslech v době, když se setmělo a u v ulicích se začaly toulat stíny. Nebo v hodině mezi člověkem a vlkem. "Contra Hominem" je přesně tím druhem hudby, která se vám dostane do krve, do podvědomí. Usadí se vám ve vnitřnostech, začne tam pomalu hnít, aby vás nakonec roztrhala na kusy. For me personally, the new album is very addictive. It has a strange, dark, magical, restless, and at the same time attractive atmosphere. It's like visiting a desecrated church and attending a black mass. The altar is ready. Listening to this recording is like spending time in absolute darkness. Somewhere deep in the woods, where the damned gathered to confirm their perverted faith. I consider both the sound and the cover to be very well done. But let's focus on the music itself, which is always the most important thing. I am satisfied. During each joint ceremony, I feel as if death itself has touched me. I feel a chill down my spine, my poor body is tightly bound by cobwebs. Have I died? Have I crossed over to the other side? I lie here in an open coffin, waiting for the first riff.
