Když se řekne black metal, tak mě samozřejmě jako první napadnou tradiční norské kapely. Ten zvuk, ta temná aura, nihilismus, touha ničit, nenávist přetavená v hudbu. Více než kde jinde je důležité, abych hudbě věřil, aby byla opravdová, autentická, zahraná od srdce. Kdysi dávno, před mnoha lety, jsem si dal za úkol, že budu to této muzice psát, podporovat ji a vytahovat ji na světlo z těch nejtemnějších sklepů podsvětí.
CHAMBER OF MIRRORS je jméno, které jsem doposud neznal. Je to chyba, když si totiž projedete celou diskografii maniaka, který si říká Mortem (je podepsán po vším, pod hudbou i texty), tak zjistíte, že se jedná o muziku, o které přesně píšu v úvodu dnešního článku. Prašivá, shnilá, mrazivá jako ruka mrtvoly. Pokud máte rádi black metal, potom jste zde správně. Budete zahaleni do chladných pevných pavučin, utkaných z těch nekrutějších melodií.
Je pro mě velmi příjemné se nechat na tento starodávný rituál plný zkažené krve pokaždé pozvat. Smrt je při poslechu velmi blízko a mě nezbývá nic jiného, než každé ráno ulehnout do své rakve, abych v ní čekal, až se zase setmí. Teprve za tmy si tuhle nahrávku vychutnáte nejlépe, v momentech, když se budou mraky dotýkat země a nemrtví začnou vylézat z hrobů. Je cosi mrtvolného, temného a zlého, co tuhle nahrávku zcela definuje. Pokud máte rádi kapely jako JUDAS ISCARIOT, TSJUDER, AKERBELTZE, GIRITH GORGORA, FUNERAL WINDS, KATHARSIS a další tmáře, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Hraje se tu hlavně pro vás, i pro všechny prokleté. Jsem moc rád, že jsem démonické a divoké nihilisty CHAMBER OF MIRRORS na svých nekonečných toulkách podzemím potkal. Mortemova hudba mě přikovala na zeď, uvrhla mě do hladomorny, do staré kobky, ve které jednou zemřu děsivou a pomalou smrtí. Kolem mě tančí krysy na ostrých střepech beznaděje. Vše je zde antikřesťanské, pochmurné a obsahuje v sobě smradlavou prokletou auru. Jediný způsob jak zůstat prokletý, je obrátit všechny kříže směrem dolů, zapálit oltář a potom se dívat, jak zase jednou peklo vyhraje nad přetvářkou a lží. Skladby jsou velmi dobře napsané, album má v sobě takový zvláštní neklid, hoří zevnitř a na povrchu je chladné e děsivé. Nezbývá mi nic jiného, než nahrávku doporučit všem, kteří rádi a často tráví svůj čas ve stínu. Peklo opravdu existuje, teď už to vím. Stačí přidat volume. Nihilistický, okultní, syrový black metal s krvavě temnou aurou! Strhněte všechny modly!

When I hear the term black metal, the first thing that comes to mind is, of course, traditional Norwegian bands. That sound, that dark aura, nihilism, the desire to destroy, hatred transformed into music. More than anywhere else, it is important for me to believe in the music, for it to be real, authentic, played from the heart. Long ago, many years ago, I set myself the task of writing about this music, supporting it, and bringing it out of the darkest basements of the underworld into the light.
CHAMBER OF MIRRORS is a name I didn't know until now. It's a mistake, because if you go through the entire discography of a maniac who calls himself Mortem (he signs everything, both the music and the lyrics), you'll find that this is exactly the kind of music I'm writing about in the introduction to today's article. Mangy, rotten, cold as a corpse's hand. If you like black metal, then you've come to the right place. You will be enveloped in cold, solid cobwebs woven from the cruelest melodies.
It is very pleasant for me to be invited to this ancient ritual full of rotten blood every time. Death is very close when listening, and I have no choice but to lie down in my coffin every morning and wait for darkness to fall again. Only in the dark can you enjoy this recording to the fullest, in moments when the clouds touch the ground and the undead begin to crawl out of their graves. There is something corpse-like, dark, and evil that completely defines this recording. If you like bands such as JUDAS ISCARIOT, TSJUDER, AKERBELTZE, GIRITH GORGORA, FUNERAL WINDS, KATHARSIS, and other dark bands, don't hesitate for a moment. This is mainly for you, and for all the damned. I am very glad that I encountered the demonic and wild nihilists CHAMBER OF MIRRORS on my endless wanderings through the underground. Mortem's music nailed me to the wall, threw me into a dungeon, into an old cellar where I will one day die a terrifying and slow death. Rats dance around me on sharp shards of despair. Everything here is anti-Christian, gloomy, and contains a stinking, cursed aura. The only way to remain cursed is to turn all the crosses upside down, set fire to the altar, and then watch as hell once again triumphs over hypocrisy and lies. The songs are very well written, the album has a strange restlessness about it, burning from the inside and cold and terrifying on the surface. I have no choice but to recommend this recording to all those who like to spend their time in the shadows. Hell really exists, I know that now. Just turn up the volume. Nihilistic, occult, raw black metal with a bloodily dark aura! Tear down all idols!
