Jsou rakve, které v sobě obsahují příliš bolesti a utrpení. Jakoby byla temnota zahuštěna a otištěna do dřevěných shnilých stěn. Do rezavých hřebů. Až navěky amen! V tomto případě se jednalo o nebožáka, kterého celý život pronásledovala církev. Byl jiný, odlišný, nezařadil se do davu. Historie by nás měla o těchto šílených případech poučit. Stále ale existuje na světě zabíjení kvůli slepé víře. Jsem pokaždé rád, když potkám na svých toulkách podzemím kapely, které podobné rakve vytáhnou na světlo a pomocí své hudby exhumují zlo.

Španělští INFRAHUMANO bojují za práva prokletých již od roku 2014. Mají na svém kontě ještě jedno dlouhohrající album, jeden živý záznam a dvě demonahrávky. Pokud si opatříte všechnu jejich hudbu (což bych vám doporučoval), potom pochopíte, o čem je nahrubo nasekaná tma a opravdový reálný a krutý death metal, zahraný s krutým zvířecím a zabijáckým instinktem.

Pokud bych potom měl zmínit kapely, jejichž odkaz lze v tvorbě těchto tmářů zaslechnout, volil bych jména jako INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, MORBID ANGEL, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, PERDITION TEMPLE, AUTOPSY, SADISTIC INTENT. Zuřivost a nakumulovaný vztek, se zde potkává s chladem a naprostou tmou. Líbí se mi, že Španělé mají svůj vlastní rukopis, takový ten krvavý otisk, který ve vás zůstane, když si album pustíte v mlhavém ránu cestou do práce. "Depths of Suffering" je nahrávkou, která má špinavě morbidní, masivní zvuk (Greg Wilkinson - mastering) i ďábelský ohnivý motiv na obalu (autorem je Alex Durán). Poslech tak připomíná spíše obřad pro vyvolávání temných sil ze záhrobí, než jen obyčejné setkání s další smečkou v řadě. Napříč skladbami lze vystopovat mocný, šílený a zvláštní neklid. Jakoby byla kapela stále ve střehu, na lovu. Je to právě napětí, celková zahnívající atmosféra, která mě pokaždé donutila, abych se zavřel ve svém pokoji a dlouhé hodiny se oddával tomuto zvrácenému obřadu. Novinka by mohla oslovit nejen staré psy, jako jsem já, kteří hlídají vchod do podzemí již dlouhé roky, ale i všechny, kteří mají rádi v hudbě ryzost, oddanost stínům i naprostý nihilismus. Španělská inkvizice byla známa svou velkou krutostí a nenávistí. Vnímám celým svým tělem, že se promítla i do této nahrávky. Brutalita se zde potkává s hnilobou a chladem čerstvě exhumovaných hrobů. Jsou rakve, které v sobě obsahují příliš bolesti a utrpení. Jakoby byla temnota zahuštěna a otištěna do dřevěných shnilých stěn. Do rezavých hřebů. Budete navěky prokleti! Surová, divoká, temná a chladná death metalová inkvizice! Album, které vás spálí zevnitř!

There are coffins that contain too much pain and suffering. It is as if darkness has condensed and been imprinted on the rotten wooden walls. On the rusty nails. Forever and ever, amen! In this case, it was a poor soul who had been persecuted by the church his entire life. He was different, distinct, he did not fit in with the crowd. History should teach us about these insane cases. But there is still killing in the world because of blind faith. I am always happy when I meet bands on my wanderings through the underground who bring such coffins to light and exhume evil with their music.

Spanish band INFRAHUMANO has been fighting for the rights of the damned since 2014. They have one more full-length album, one live recording, and two demo recordings to their credit. If you get all their music (which I would recommend), then you will understand what roughly chopped darkness and real, cruel death metal played with a cruel animalistic and killer instinct is all about.

If I were to mention bands whose influence can be heard in the work of these dark masters, I would choose names such as INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, MORBID ANGEL, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, PERDITION TEMPLE, AUTOPSY, and SADISTIC INTENT. Fury and accumulated rage meet coldness and utter darkness here. I like that the Spaniards have their own signature style, a bloody imprint that stays with you when you play the album on a foggy morning on your way to work. "Depths of Suffering" is a recording with a dirty, morbid, massive sound (Greg Wilkinson - mastering) and a devilish fiery motif on the cover (by Alex Durán). Listening to it is more like a ritual to summon dark forces from beyond the grave than just another encounter with another band in the lineup. Across the songs, you can trace a powerful, crazy, and strange restlessness. It's as if the band is always on guard, on the hunt. It is precisely this tension, this overall decaying atmosphere, that has always compelled me to shut myself in my room and indulge in this perverse ritual for hours on end. This new release could appeal not only to old dogs like me, who have been guarding the entrance to the underground for many years, but also to all those who love purity, devotion to shadows, and utter nihilism in music. The Spanish Inquisition was known for its great cruelty and hatred. I can feel with my whole body that this is also reflected in this recording. Brutality meets the rot and cold of freshly exhumed graves. There are coffins that contain too much pain and suffering. It is as if the darkness has been condensed and imprinted on the rotten wooden walls. On the rusty nails. You will be cursed forever! A raw, wild, dark, and cold death metal inquisition! An album that will burn you from the inside!
