Rozbořené zdi. Zbytky ohně, popel a strach. Procházíš chrámem bolesti a hledáš, kde je vchod do podzemí. Měli by tu někde hrát italští démoni BURIAL. Death doomová kapela, která bude mými průvodci v nekonečných chodbách říše temnoty. Obestírá mě chlad, jako první mě doslova zasáhne skvěle ošetřený zvuk (Leonardo Bellavista). Masivní, prašivý, hutný a studený, jako ruka staré mrtvoly.
Nasávám pach smrti a musím pochválit i obal (jako vždy skvělý Paolo Girardi). To jsou všechno ale jen formální stránky nahrávky. Mě nakonec vždy nejvíc zajímá obsah. Tentokrát máme co do činění s hodně temným a mokvajícím příběhem. Ostré riffy, chorobný vokál, magické opakování nekonečné mantry utrpení. Album si opravdu užívám.
Jakoby se do mě hudba otiskla. Nasávám pach rozkládajícího se masa. Odhrnuji pavučiny ze starých koster. Pokud bychom chtěli hudbu BURIAL k někomu připodobnit, volil bych asi smečky jako INCANTATION, COFFINS, DISEMBOWELMENT, ale i třeba MORTIFERUM, WORM, KRYPTS. Ze skladeb jako zkažená krev odkapává mokvající a nakažlivá atmosféra. Světlo jsme již nějaký čas neviděli a asi jej už nikdy neuvidíme. Vše je totiž složeno velmi uvěřitelně, přitažlivě. Kývám se do rytmu a jdu stále dál. Potkávám duše zemřelých, kývám na pozdrav vlastním nočním můrám. Hrát podobný styl je dle mého názoru velmi náročné. Musíte mít cit pro jemné nuance všech odstínů černé barvy i smutek. Stojím nad hlubokou jámou, padám dolů a spolu se mnou lavina z kostí, špíny, hnisu, nenávisti a devastujících riffů. Klidné pasáže chladí a rychlejší zase žhnou a pálí. Vzduchem se vznáší i smutek, deska je svým způsobem hodně tajemná a záhadná. Otřásl jsem se zimou a šel dál, až na konec, do země stínů. "Inner Gateways to the Slumbering Equilibrium at the Center of Cosmos" je nahrávkou, která je ohlodaná až na kost. A já nemohu jinak, než hodnotit velmi vysoko. Démoni mají při poslechu v očích krev! Doom death metalový rituál nekonečné bolesti!

I absorb the smell of death and I have to praise the cover (as always, the great Paolo Girardi). These are all but just the formal aspects of the recording. In the end, I'm always most interested in the content. This time we are dealing with a very dark and wet story. Sharp riffs, sick vocals, magical repetition of the endless mantra of suffering. I really enjoy the album.
It was as if the music imprinted on me. I smell decaying flesh. I'm picking up cobwebs from old skeletons. If we want to liken the music of BURIAL to someone, I would probably choose packs like INCANTATION, COFFINS, DISEMBOWELMENT, but also MORTIFERUM, WORM, KRYPTS. A soaking and contagious atmosphere drips from the songs like rotten blood. We haven't seen the light in a while and we'll probably never see it again. Everything is composed very believably, attractively. I nod to the beat and keep going. I meet the souls of the dead, I nod in greeting to my own nightmares. In my opinion, playing a similar style is very challenging. You must have a feeling for the subtle nuances of all shades of black and sadness. I stand over a deep pit, falling down and with me an avalanche of bones, dirt, pus, hatred and devastating riffs. Quiet passages cool and faster ones glow and burn again. There is also sadness in the air, the record is in a way very mysterious and mysterious. I shivered with the cold and walked on, all the way to the land of shadows. "Inner Gateways to the Slumbering Equilibrium at the Center of Cosmos" is a recording that is gnawed to the bone. And I can't help but rate it very high. Demons have blood in their eyes when they listen! Doom death metal ritual of endless pain!
