Jestli jste si mysleli, že jednou budou všechny vaše hříchy odpuštěny, tak jste se šeredně mýlili. Nakonec vás stejně dostihnou a strhnou do hlubiny. Budete si drásat do krve vlastní obličej a ve snech se vám bude vracet všechen ten hnus a špína, kterou jste za svého života prováděli. Poslouchám nové CD (vyšlo i na kazetě a na vinylu) francouzského mága Meyhna'ch a mám pocit, že se mi jeho hudba zadírá postupně hluboko pod kůži.
Novinka je možná lehce melodičtější, než předchozí počiny. Zároveň působí velmi chladně, nehumánně, nihilisticky, přesně tak, jak má poctivý a ryzí black metal být. MÜTIILATION jsou zpět a kolem opět hoří ohně v roztodivných odstínech černé. Smrt je velmi blízko. Tohle je pradávný obřad pro vyvolávání temných sil.
V tomhle stylu platí více než kde jinde, že musíte předkládané hudbě věřit, musí se stát vaší součástí. MÜTIILATION jsou velmi přesvědčiví, opravdoví, ryzí, autentičtí. Vezmou vás na dlouhý výlet bez konce. Potkáte duše zemřelých, postavy bez tváří, odsouzené k věčnému utrpení. Líbí se mi tradiční zvuk, motiv na obalu i všechny další formální věci. Ale hlavně hudba samotná. Tahle smečka měla vždy svůj vlastní výraz, rukopis, ksicht chcete-li. Dívám se zase jednou do tmy a čekám na své vlastní démony. Přicházejí velmi brzy ráno, když ulice ještě prázdné a nad hřbitovem se válí krvavá mlha. "Pandemonium of Egregores" je albem, které samozřejmě osloví nejvíce pravověrné, opravdové fanoušky tohoto stylu. Na mě osobně má až uhrančivý účinek. Pokaždé, když zapnu play, tak se ocitnu v děsivém světě za oponou. Našlapuji tiše, nahlížím do jednotlivých cel, ve kterých jsou vězněni ti, kteří se protivili řádu přírody a světa. V black metalu si opravdu hodně vybírám, jen tak něco mi do přehrávače nesmí, ale s touto nahrávkou jsem strávil opravdu dlouhý čas. Rád se k ní opakovaně vracím, pokaždé, když slyším z nedalekého lesa nářek prokletých. Tma je hustá jako zkažená krev, zlo se plíží kolem nás jako jedovatý had. Podlehnete jeho kouzlu? Meyhna'ch je jako našeptávač, jako padlý kněz, jako démon, který k nám přišel pomocí své hudby zapálit náš podivný svět. Chladný, tajemný, děsivý a temný black metalový obřad pro vyvolávání sil, které nejsou z našeho světa! Rouhání a sebedestrukce!

The new release is perhaps slightly more melodic than his previous works. At the same time, it comes across as very cold, inhuman, nihilistic, exactly as honest and pure black metal should be. MÜTIILATION are back, and fires are burning again in strange shades of black. Death is very close. This is an ancient ritual for summoning dark forces.
In this style, more than anywhere else, you have to believe in the music presented; it has to become a part of you. MÜTIILATION are very convincing, genuine, pure, authentic. They take you on a long journey with no end. You will meet the souls of the dead, faceless characters condemned to eternal suffering. I like the traditional sound, the cover art, and all the other formal aspects. But mainly the music itself. This band has always had its own expression, its own signature, its own face, if you will. Once again, I look into the darkness and wait for my own demons. They come very early in the morning, when the streets are still empty and a bloody fog hangs over the cemetery. "Pandemonium of Egregores" is an album that will naturally appeal most to the most orthodox, true fans of this style. For me personally, it has an almost mesmerizing effect. Every time I press play, I find myself in a terrifying world behind the curtain. I tread quietly, peering into the individual cells where those who have defied the order of nature and the world are imprisoned. I'm very selective when it comes to black metal, I don't just put anything in my player, but I've spent a really long time with this recording. I like to return to it again and again, every time I hear the wails of the damned from the nearby forest. The darkness is thick as rotten blood, evil creeps around us like a poisonous snake. Will you succumb to its spell? Meyhna'ch is like a whisperer, like a fallen priest, like a demon who has come to us through his music to ignite our strange world. A cold, mysterious, terrifying, and dark black metal ritual to summon forces that are not of this world! Blasphemy and self-destruction!
