Když se do tebe zakousl první červ, byl si vyděšený k smrti. Slyšel si vzdálené výkřiky. Pohřbený zaživa, ruce rozdrásané do krve. V plesnivé rakvi. Tohle není sen, to je hnusná, krutá realita. Noční můra, která se stala skutečností. Pomalu, bolestivě, přecházíš na druhou stranu. V kostech se ti usadil strach a tvoje mysl je spálená na popel. Vypadá to, že tamní podzemní scéna je poslední roky čím dál tím silnější. Alespoň, co se týká surového, prašivého death metalu. Vše je zde ohlodané na kost. Žádné zbytečnosti, žádné kompromisy. Jenom rezavý nůž, který vám spolu s riffy vstoupí do břicha a zanechá po sobě hlubokou sněť. U nového alba se znovu probouzejí staré rány. Vítejte v morbidní říši nekoneční bolesti!
V dnešní době, kdy spousta kapel působí uměle a spíše jako produkt, jsou PISSROT opravdoví, uvěřitelní, ryzí a naprosto autentičtí. Nějak takhle se hrálo kdysi dávno, když tenhle smrtící styl teprve vznikal. Slabost pro gore tématiku, horory, smrt i hnusné krvavé vraždy, je zde předkládána s gustem a nadšením mistrů v oboru. Zvuk (Arian Mauk - recording, mixing, Ragnar O'Daleigh - mastering) je špinavý, neotesaný, primitivní a naprosto živočišný. Mám pocit, jako bych se vrátil do dob svého mládí, když jsem sedával dlouhé hodiny před kazetovým přehrávačem a pročítal jsem si okopírovaný obal. Ten se Američanům také povedl. Je náležitě černobílý, stylový a autorem je Ditchwitch666. Zkrátka a dobře, pokud vaše kroky směřují často dolů po schodech, do prašivého sklepa, ve kterém se nachází vchod do samotného pekla, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. "Absolute Form" je albem, které vás roztrhá ve smradlavé ulici na periferii vašeho města jako smečka vzteklých psů. Nahrávka se mi opravdu zadřela hluboko pod kůži, velmi často jsem si ji brával s sebou při svých toulkách na onom světě. Až se zase jednou probudíte uprostřed noci a budete mít pocit, že jste právě pohřbíváni zaživa, tak věřte tomu, že je to pravda. Jako starý pes, který hlídá vstup do podsvětí již několik dekád, vám mohu tuhle desku doporučit. Má v sobě totiž všechno, co máme my, obdivovatelé dlouhých stínů v záhrobí, krásy patologických sálů i atmosféru prašivých katakomb, rádi. Doporučuji klid, ticho a naprostou tmu. Potom síla téhle nahrávky vynikne naplno. Jen si dejte pozor, aby vám někdo nebodl do břicha rezavý nůž. Prašivé, hnisavé, surové death metalové album, které vás pohřbí zaživa! Hniloba, zkažená krev a popraskané kosti!

In this day and age, when so many bands come across as artificial and more like a product, PISSROT are genuine, believable, unadulterated, and completely authentic. This is how it used to be played long ago, back when this deadly style was just emerging. A penchant for gore themes, horror, death, and gruesome bloody murders is presented here with the gusto and enthusiasm of masters of the craft. The sound (Arian Mauk – recording, mixing; Ragnar O’Daleigh – mastering) is dirty, raw, primitive, and utterly animalistic. I feel as though I’ve been transported back to my youth, when I used to sit for hours in front of my cassette player, poring over the photocopied cover art. The Americans really nailed that too. It’s appropriately black-and-white, stylish, and designed by Ditchwitch666. In short, if your steps often lead you down the stairs to a dingy basement where the entrance to hell itself lies, don’t hesitate for a moment. “Absolute Form” is an album that will tear you apart on a stinking street on the outskirts of your city like a pack of rabid dogs. This album really got under my skin; I often took it with me on my wanderings through that other world. The next time you wake up in the middle of the night and feel like you’re being buried alive, believe me it’s true. Like an old dog that has been guarding the entrance to the underworld for decades, I can recommend this album to you. It contains everything that we, admirers of long shadows in the afterlife, the beauty of pathological halls, and the atmosphere of musty catacombs, love. I recommend peace, quiet, and complete darkness. Only then will the power of this recording shine through fully. Just be careful that no one stabs you in the stomach with a rusty knife. A mangy, festering, raw death metal album that will bury you alive! Rot, tainted blood, and cracked bones!
