Tělo vznášející se na hladině. Tiché a osamocené. Jako život a smrt. Jsou na něm vidět stopy po mučení. Nevinná tvář je poznamenaná utrpením. Kousek od útesů, kde jsme jej nalezli, je vyrytý symbol. Děsivé znamení. Vypadá to opět na pradávný krvavý rituál, který vždy končí smrtí. Jakoby se nad námi zavřelo nebe. Mraky se dotýkají hladiny a já poslouchám nové album britských WODE.

Jejich muzika je zvláštní a neklidná, vznáší se kolem ní taková temně krvavá aura, stejně jako kolem nalezeného těla. Nálady jsou pochmurné, tajemné, magicky syrové, jako ranní mlha nad hřbitovem. Kapela má svůj vlastní rukopis, výraz, poznáte ji po několika minutách mezi ostatními. Ve skladbách je velké množství chladu a nahrubo nasekané tmy.

Mrazivý black metal se zde potkává se syrovou smrtí. Zazní ale i punková/heavy metalová naléhavost. Výsledný koktejl je velmi jedovatý a když jej ochutnáte, tak budete navěky uhranuti. Amen! Ano, nové album na mě působí jako nějaké starodávné zaříkávání. Jako bych byl při poslechu na nějakém opuštěném pohřebišti. Oltář je znovu připraven a naše smysly jsou nastaveny temné vesmírné energii. Pokud jste fanoušci kapel jako TRIBULATION, VAMPIRE, HORRENDOUS, MORBUS CHRON, potom by vám tohle album určitě nemělo uniknout. Hoří zevnitř, je po okraj narvané zajímavými melodiemi, má skvěle ošetřený zvuk i tajemný obal. Navíc, i když je nahrávka zpočátku trošku nepřístupná, časem se usadí a je pro mě velmi osvěžující, že při každém dalších společném setkání objevuji nová temná zákoutí. Songy v sobě mají pověstný drive, sílu, tlak i energii. Jedná se samozřejmě o hluboký underground, ale přesto v sobě novinka obsahuje v určitých momentech až heavy hitový potenciál. WODE na to jdou po svém, neohlížejí se napravo ani nalevo a jejich sázka na vlastní cestu jim opět vychází. V dnešní době umělých, genericky znějících kapel, je jejich nový počin úkazem. Pokaždé, když se setmí a mám konečně klid, tak si vybírám muziku, kterou budu poslouchat. Mám před sebou desítky nových nahrávek. Chvíli přemýšlím a potom si vzpomenu na tělo, vznášející se na hladině. Jasně, že volím "Uncrossing The Keys"! Tohle album se totiž povedlo po všech stránkách. Kousek od útesů je vyrytý symbol. Děsivé znamení. Vypadá to opět na pradávný krvavý rituál, který vždy končí smrtí. Jakoby se nad námi zavřelo nebe. Okultní black death metalový rituál s krvavou magicky přitažlivou atmosférou! Temnota přichází z jiné dimenze!

Their music is strange and restless, a dark bloody aura hovers around it, just like around the found body. The moods are gloomy, mysterious, magically raw, like the morning fog over a cemetery. The band has its own signature, an expression, you can recognize it after a few minutes among the others. There is a lot of coldness and roughly chopped darkness in the songs.

Here, freezing black metal meets raw death. But there is also a punk/heavy metal urgency. The resulting cocktail is very poisonous and when you taste it, you will be forever bewitched. Amen! Yes, the new album seems to me like some ancient incantation. As if I were listening to it in some abandoned cemetery. The altar is ready again and our senses are tuned to dark cosmic energy. If you are fans of bands like TRIBULATION, VAMPIRE, HORRENDOUS, MORBUS CHRON, then this album should definitely not be missed. It burns from the inside, is packed to the brim with interesting melodies, has a superbly treated sound and a mysterious cover. Moreover, even if the record is a bit inaccessible at first, it settles down over time and it is very refreshing for me that with each subsequent meeting together I discover new dark corners. The songs have the famous drive, strength, pressure and energy. This is of course a deep underground, but still, at certain moments, the new album contains heavy hit potential. WODE are going their own way, they don't look to the right or left, and their bet on their own path is paying off again. In this day and age of artificial, generic-sounding bands, their new work is a phenomenon. Every time it gets dark and I finally have peace, I choose the music I'm going to listen to. I have dozens of new records in front of me. I think for a while and then I remember the body floating on the surface. Of course, I choose "Uncrossing The Keys"! This album is successful in every way. A symbol is engraved not far from the cliffs. A terrifying sign. It looks like an ancient bloody ritual that always ends in death. As if the sky has closed over us. An occult black death metal ritual with a bloody, magically attractive atmosphere! Darkness comes from another dimension!
