Stává se mi čím dál tím častěji, že se děsivé sny stávají krutou skutečností. Mnohdy už nevím, co je realita a co jsou mé představy. Probouzím se uprostřed noci, abych sestoupil několik pater dolů, do podzemí. Nějak podvědomě vnímám, že chci být blíže peklu. Nedávno jsem otevřel staré rezavé dveře a vstoupil dovnitř. Pozdravil jsem Kerbera a potom mě pohltil oheň. Spálený na popel jsem si znovu a znovu užíval nové album francouzských tmářů NECROWRETCH. Kapelu sleduji od jejich začátků a jejich vývoj se mi zdá fascinující. Stejně jako obrácené kříže, které jsou potřísněné krví.

Ještě na minulé desce "The Ones from Hell" byla tahle smečka typickým představitelem hlubokého undergroundu. Oceňoval jsem jejich nadšení, ryzost a opravdovost. Tyhle atributy zůstaly a pánové se vydali dál, aby více prozkoumali temná zákoutí Hádovy říše. Myslím si, že se jim to povedlo na výbornou. Novinka je propracovanější, pestřejší, naléhavější.

Zvuk je majestátnější, tajemnější a záhadnější. Mám při poslechu neodbytný pocit, že ze šedé mlhy vystupují přízraky. Vypadají stejně jako démon, příšera na obalu, který je mimochodem také moc povedený. NECROWRETCH jsou i nadále velmi jedovatí, nejdříve se kolem vás plazí jako hadi, syčí a proklínají vás, aby nakonec zaútočili a nechali svoji hudbu působit, dokud nezemřete a nepřejdete na druhou stranu. Lehce inspirováni třeba takovými POSSESSED, DARK ANGEL, DISSECTION, NECROPHOBIC, PANZERFAUST, MERCILESS, NIFELHEIM, DEICIDE, KATHARSIS, DARK FUNERAL, útočí zákeřně a divoce. Já opravdu cítím, že se během společných rituálů setkávám s ústřední postavou téhle desky, s démonem, antikristem Dajjalou. Stačí se rozhlédnout kolem sebe a podívat se na současný zkažený svět plný falešných proroků. Vše zapadne krásně morbidně do sebe. Hudba, texty, zvuk, obal, produkce. Přesto přidává kapela ještě něco navíc, něco těžko definovatelného, co umí jenom prokletí. Podepisuji vlastní krví, že se nové album povedlo po všech stránkách. Když jej budete vnímat celým svým tělem, celou černou duší, tak se vaše děsivé sny také stanou krutou realitou. "Swords of Dajjal" se mi usadilo v mé hlavě, jako nějaký hladový červ. Postupně jsem se rozpadal v prach a pomalu se stával démonem. Skladby jsou totiž napsány velmi uvěřitelně, ortodoxně a svěže zároveň. Zkažená krev, slepá víra, čerstvě otevřené hroby, naleznete zde vše pro pravý, poctivý rituál smrti. Mýtický, démonický, temný černý smrtící kov smrti, který vás strhne do hlubin věčnosti! Soudný den přichází!

It happens to me more and more often that frightening dreams become a cruel reality. Often I no longer know what is reality and what is my imagination. I wake up in the middle of the night to go down several floors to the underground. Somehow, subconsciously, I feel that I want to be closer to hell. I recently opened the old rusty door and entered. I said hello to Kerber and then I was engulfed in fire. Burnt to ashes, I enjoyed the new album by French darkies NECROWRETCH all over again. I've followed the band since their early days and find their evolution fascinating. Like the inverted crosses that are smeared with blood.

Even on the last album "The Ones from Hell" this pack was a typical representative of the deep underground. I appreciated their enthusiasm, their purity and their sincerity. These attributes remained and the gentlemen went on to explore more of the dark corners of Hades' realm. I think they succeeded admirably. The novel is more propaced, more colourful, more urgent.

The sound is more majestic, mysterious and enigmatic. Listening to it, I have the insistent feeling that ghosts are emerging from the grey mist. They look just like the demon, the monster on the cover, which by the way is also very hilarious. NECROWRETCH continue to be very venomous, at first slithering around you like snakes, hissing and cursing you, only to finally attack and let their music work until you die and cross over to the other side. Slightly inspired by the likes of POSSESSED, DARK ANGEL, DISSECTION, NECROPHOBIC, PANZERFAUST, MERCILESS, NIFELHEIM, DEICIDE, KATHARSIS, DARK FUNERAL, they attack viciously and savagely. I really feel that during the communal rituals I meet the central character of this record, the demon, the antichrist Dajjala. Just look around you and look at the present corrupt world full of false prophets. It all fits together in a beautifully morbid way. Music, lyrics, sound, cover art, production. Yet the band adds something extra, something hard to define that only a curse can do. I sign with my own blood that the new album has succeeded in every aspect. If you feel it with your whole body, with your whole black soul, your terrifying dreams will also become a cruel reality. "Swords of Dajjal" settled in my head like a hungry worm. Gradually I crumbled into dust and slowly became a demon. The songs are written in a very believable, orthodox and fresh way at the same time. Corrupted blood, blind faith, freshly opened graves, you will find here everything for a true, feeling ritual of death. The mythical, demonic, dark black death metal of death that sweeps you into the depths of eternity! Doomsday is coming!
