A few questions – interview with Polish old school death metal band INCINERATOR.

Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? – When was it founded and what style of music do you play , etc.?

***Hi! We are Incinerator and we play old-school death. We love this style of music and we want to tribute death metal gods. Btw. Name comes from one of Canadian death/thrash band Slaughter, so you can imagine our style! Our band has been founded in January 2015.

Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering?

***We were recording our EP in Gdańsk, Poland. It was nice experience for us to record in this city. Maciej Nejman, the sound engineer, gave much time. Lack of rush was very important for us, because it was our first time in real studio.

How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, cassette)?

***Rotten Flesh Macabre came out in 500 copies on CD. Now we are waiting for cassettes! Vinyl will be released probably with full length album.

Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with?

***Cezary, our vocalist is author of all lyrics. They were created mostly during free time and the topic of them is about classic carnage. Death, gore and torture. We try to match lyrics with music.

Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important?

***Logo which is on cover art for Rotten Flesh Macabre was created by Grzegorz from Polish doom/death metal band Martyrdoom. Graphics for EP were made by Kaos from Nekkrofukk with help of Morgul from our label – Putrid Cult. About social networks; We aren’t against them. They are quite important this days.

Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takes care about you?

***We choose Putrid Cult for releasing our album. We are very satisfied! Morgul – boss of Putrid Cult – is very kind man who knows what he is doing. He offered us very beneficial contract and helps us with merch, concerts and other important stuff.

Which bands do you idolise and where do you get your inspiration?

***Our main inspirations are bands like Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Vader and Morbid Angel. We also are under influence of some Swedish bands like Unleashed, Merciless, Entombed or Wombbath, but in our veins are mostly sounds from Florida scene.

Did you send your record to some Labels - which are the labels? How was the response?

***We talked only with one label – Putrid Cult. We found common sense fast, so there were no needs to look for other.

How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

***We didn’t count it but would something about 30-40 concerts in our career and we can’t still say which gig we prefer, because we are just beginners, but it’s always nice to play when you have big audience! Our best performances, hm.. I think that last gigs outside of Poland were just awesome. Gigs in Lithuania, Germany and Czech Republic were the best in our opinion.

What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?

***Plan is very simple. Write good tracks, record them, release as LP on many formats like CD, MC and Vinyl and play as many good gigs as it’s possible!

How and where can your fans contact you? Can you provide some contact information?

***Facebook is most popular contact way nowadays so fans can write us by facebook.com/incineratorPL or just write e-mail on incineratorpl@gmail.com , we are always happy when fans are contacting us to talk with us!

Thanx for the interview.

***Jakub, we thank you! It was big pleasure for us to be part of this interview! Cheers!!!
