V každé kobce je zavřený člověk, který byl mučen jiným způsobem. Lidská nenávist má mnoho podob. Zlo a špína, když jsem vstoupil poprvé, bylo mi špatně od žaludku. Pach bolesti. Neustále jsem se ptal proč? Hroby beze jména. Strach a vyděšené tváře obětí. Zlo přichází zevnitř, z temných zákoutí mysli. Na tuhle zprávu z médií jsem si vzpomněl, když jsem poprvé slyšel novou desku amerických maniaků ANGEROT.

Smečku sleduji od jejich počátků a musím znovu napsat, že hrají hudbu, která koluje i v mých žilách. Agresivní, vzteklý death metal s podmanivě morbidní atmosféru. U novinky "The Profound Recreant" si připadám, jako bych sledoval nějaký hororový film, který se změnil během poslechu v krutou realitu. Přidávám hlasitost a hmatatelně cítím pach rozkládajících se těl.

Dalo by se také napsat, že obal přesně vyjadřuje to, co se na albu odehrává. Je pod ním podepsán Jon Zig a když se na něj dívám, tak mě mrazí v zádech. Pánové si také pozvali spoustu hostů. Vypsal jsem je vám dolů pod článek, tak se podívejte. Všichni odvedli skvělou práci. Výsledkem je doslova smrtící koktejl, u kterého zemřete v šílených křečích. ANGEROT útočí napřímo, bez kompromisů, jsou jako údery kladivem přímo do obličeje, které jsou prováděny velkou silou. Není to ale jenom vztek a nahrubo nasekaná tma, které ze skladeb odkapávají jako zkažená krev. Pánové nezapomínají ani na melodie, na jasné, zřetelné a velmi dobře zapamatovatelné motivy. Měl jsem pokaždé radost, podupával jsem si do rytmu a poslouchal zásadně hodně nahlas. Songy jsou doslova nasáklé šílenstvím. Rozdrásají vám obličej i vaši prokletou duši. Základem je zde klasický, poctivý death metal, ale na nahrávce nalezneme i spoustu black metalových prvků. Nebudu vám hudbu k nikomu přirovnávat, myslím si, že bude lepší, když si poslechnete ukázky a uděláte si názor sami. "The Profound Recreant" na sebe musíte nechat působit, musí vás rozsekat, zničit. Troufám si tvrdit, že vám možná v hlavě také začnou létat zběsilé myšlenky a noční můry. Podepisuji vlastní krví, tahle deska se opravdu velmi povedla. Má v sobě drive, sílu, přitažlivost. Je vzteklá i chladná zároveň. Lidská nenávist má mnoho podob. Zničující death metal, plný temnoty, vzteku a utrpení! Inferno!

I was reminded of this media report when I first heard the new album by American maniacs ANGEROT.

I have been following the pack since their early days and I must write again that they play music that runs through my veins. Aggressive, angry death metal with a captivatingly morbid atmosphere. With the new release "The Profound Recreant" I feel like I'm watching a horror movie that turned into a cruel reality while listening to it. I turn up the volume and the smell of decomposing bodies is palpable.

One could also write that the cover accurately expresses what is happening on the album. It's signed by Jon Zig and it gives me chills when I look at it. The gentlemen have also invited a lot of guests. I've listed them down below the article for you, so take a look. They all did a great job. The result is a literally lethal cocktail that will make you die in mad convulsions. ANGEROT's attacks are direct, uncompromising, like hammer blows to the face, delivered with great force. But it's not just rage and coarsely chopped darkness that drip from the tracks like tainted blood. The gentlemen don't forget the melodies either, the clear, distinct and very memorable motifs. I was pleased every time, stomping to the rhythm and listening fundamentally very loud. The songs are literally soaked in madness. They will tear your face and your damn soul. The basis here is classic, honest death metal, but there are also a lot of black metal elements on the record. I'm not going to compare the music to anyone, I think it's better if you listen to the samples and make up your own mind. "The Profound Recreant" you have to let it affect you, it has to shred you, destroy you. I dare to say that you may also start having frantic thoughts and nightmares in your head. I sign with my own blood, this record is really very good. It's got drive, power, appeal. It's angry and cold at the same time. Human hatred takes many forms. Devastating death metal, full of darkness, rage and suffering! Inferno!
