Pokud jste staří metaloví psi, kteří stejně jako já hlídají vstup do podsvětí již dlouhé roky, tak asi moc dobře znáte takový ten neklidný a zároveň velmi příjemný pocit ve vnitřnostech, když objevíte nějakou kapelu, která se vám líbí, která vás dokáže rozdrásat zevnitř. Osobně se mi to s touhle smečkou stalo poprvé v roce 2023, když vydala album "The Caverns of Duat" (odkaz na recenzi najdete dole pod dnešním článkem).

Byl jsem tedy na letošní novinku velmi zvědavý. HAXPROCESS totiž mají svůj jasný a zřetelný rukopis, který je postaven na klasických death metalových základech, na které jsou potom naroubovány jak progresivní prvky, tak třeba i thrash a heavy metal. Jedná se zkrátka o skupinu s výrazným a vlastním stylem, což v dnešní záplavě generických nahrávek, více než oceňuji. Základem pro mě vždycky je, abych hudbě věřil. Přiznám to hned na začátku a bez mučení, jsem opět proklet, nové CD je opravdu úžasné.

Jasně, pro to, abyste si nahrávku užili, musíte mít alespoň nějakou dávku fantazie, musíte být otevření tomu, že kapela nezní jako ostatní. Některé pasáž jsou velmi komplikované, pro mnohého fanouška, včetně mě, těžké na pochopení. Zase na druhou stranu, album má velkou trvanlivost. I po několika měsících, co jej mám doma na recenzi, tak stále objevuji nová zákoutí a momenty. Navíc, na rozdíl od jiných, progresivně laděných nahrávek, mě baví "Beyond What Eyes Can See" poslouchat. Jako bych ochutnával z velmi pestré palety morbidních nálad nebo se díval do kaleidoskopu, ve kterém bych viděl tisíc odstínů krve. HAXPROCESS umí být suroví a agresivní, ale nebojí se ani chladných a temných, klidnějších výletů. Nemám moc rád přirovnávání tvorby kapel k jiným, ale pro představu - máte rádi třeba takové OPETH, DEATH, NILE, MORBID ANGEL, ATHEIST, BLOOD INCANTATION? Potom jste zde správně. Novinka má navíc takovou zvláštní náladu, která se vine celou deskou jako jedovatý had. Je to jakýsi neklid, taková ta zvláštní krvavá aura, kterou mám u dobrých nahrávek tolik rád. Netřeba hodnotit formální věci jako je zvuk a obal, obojí považuji za velmi povedené. Parádní řemeslo a vy se tak můžete soustředit na hudbu samotnou. Ta má v sobě vše potřebné pro to, abyste se nechali unášet na krvavých vlnách řeky smrti. Sedím tak zase jednou u reproduktorů, mlátím pěstí do stolu a chce se mi řvát spolu s kapelou. V téhle hudbě je velká porce síly, nahrubo nasekané tmy a energie. Pokud jste staří metaloví psi, kteří stejně jako já hlídají vstup do podsvětí již dlouhé roky nebo prostě máte rádi dobrou muziku, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Hraje se tu hlavně pro vás. Zničující, progresivní death thrash metalové album, které vás spálí zevnitř! Zásah přímo na solar plexus!

HAXPROCESS has a clear and distinct style, built on classic death metal foundations, onto which progressive elements, as well as thrash and heavy metal, are grafted. In short, this is a band with a distinctive and unique style, which I greatly appreciate in today's flood of generic recordings. The basis for me is always that I have to believe in the music. I'll admit it right from the start, without torture, I'm cursed again, the new CD is really amazing.

Sure, to enjoy the recording, you need to have at least some imagination, you need to be open to the fact that the band doesn't sound like others. Some passages are very complicated, difficult to understand for many fans, including me. On the other hand, the album has great durability. Even after several months of having it at home for review, I'm still discovering new corners and moments. Moreover, unlike other progressive-sounding recordings, I enjoy listening to "Beyond What Eyes Can See". It's as if I were sampling a very colorful palette of morbid moods or looking into a kaleidoscope in which I could see a thousand shades of blood. HAXPROCESS can be raw and aggressive, but they are not afraid of cold and dark, quieter trips either. I don't really like comparing bands to others, but to give you an idea - do you like OPETH, DEATH, NILE, MORBID ANGEL, ATHEIST, BLOOD INCANTATION? Then you've come to the right place. The new album also has a special mood that winds its way through the entire record like a poisonous snake. It's a kind of restlessness, that special bloody aura that I love so much in good recordings. There's no need to evaluate formal things like sound and cover art, as I consider both to be very well done. It's superb craftsmanship, allowing you to focus on the music itself. It has everything you need to let yourself be carried away on the bloody waves of the river of death. Once again, I'm sitting in front of the speakers, pounding my fist on the table, wanting to scream along with the band. There is a great deal of power, roughly chopped darkness, and energy in this music. If you are old metalheads who, like me, have been guarding the entrance to the underworld for many years, or if you simply enjoy good music, do not hesitate for a moment. This is mainly for you. A devastating, progressive death thrash metal album that will burn you from the inside out! A direct hit to the solar plexus!
