Jizvy posbírané v těch nejtemnějších sklepeních. Staré rány, které se nikdy nezahojí. Dodnes nechápeš, proč právě ty? Byla si v nesprávný čas na špatném místě. Teď tu sedíš a ten, který ti všechno způsobil se usmívá. Má oči ďábla. Pořád se ho bojíš, i když je zavřený a odsouzený. Přemýšlíš, kde se bere v lidech tolik zla a hnusu. Nakonec skončíš v chladné koupelně se žiletkou v ruce.
Je něco divného a ošklivého v některých lidech. Američané GLORIOUS DEPRAVITY letos přicházejí se svým druhým dlouhohrajícím albem, které na mě působí jako nastavené zrcadlo temným myšlenkám, které mají někteří jedinci v sobě. Jedná se o další poctivou a surovou porcí syrového masa. Nahrubo nasekaný death metal s thrashovými prvky se vám zadře pod kůži jako rezavý nůž. Masakr!
Pánové také působí ve smečkách jako Pyrrhon, Gravesend, Woe, Scarcity a tak máte naprostou jistotu, že po formální stránce dostanete vysokou kvalitu. Jedná se o zkušené muzikanty, kteří si dali pozor na zvuk, který je masivní, ostrý a divoký zároveň (Joe Cincotta (Suffocation, Obituary), mastering by Ryan Williams (The Black Dahlia Murder)). Zaujal mě i motiv na obalu pod kterým je podepsán jako vždy vynikající Dan Seagrave (Morbid Angel, Malevolent Creation). Hudba samotná je potom jako lavina, jako tsunami, které vás smete z povrchu zemského. Pokud jste oddanými fanoušky třeba takových MONSTROSITY, VADER, MORBID ANGEL, OBSCENITY, DEICIDE, SINISTER, DECAPITATED, SUFFOCATION, DEATH, určitě vás nenechá tohle album v klidu. Osobně se mi velmi líbí, jakým způsobem jsou skladby napsány. Mají v sobě potřebný drive a sílu, zároveň obsahují melodie, u kterých praskají kosti. "Death Never Sleeps" je přesně tím druhem hudby, kterou si budete pouštět, když vás bude štvát všechno kolem vás, když si budete potřebovat vyčistit hlavu. Když uvidíte ve zprávách nějakou nespravedlnost, když zatnete pěsti a budete chtít praštit do nejbližší zdi. Smrt, ta stará děvka, je při poslechu velmi blízko. Usmívá se, jak by také ne, když se zde hraje i pro ní. Za mě nelze jinak, než novinku doporučit všem pravověrným fanouškům. Budete rozsekání na kusy, rozmleti na prach, abyste nakonec povstali v pekelném ohni. Jizvy posbírané v těch nejtemnějších sklepeních. Staré rány, které se nikdy nezahojí. There is something strange and ugly in some people. This year, the American band GLORIOUS DEPRAVITY is releasing their second full-length album, which strikes me as a mirror reflecting the dark thoughts that some individuals have inside them. It is another honest and raw serving of raw meat. Coarsely chopped death metal with thrash elements will get under your skin like a rusty knife. Massacre!
The gentlemen also play in bands such as Pyrrhon, Gravesend, Woe, and Scarcity, so you can be absolutely sure that you will get high quality in terms of form. These are experienced musicians who have paid attention to the sound, which is massive, sharp, and wild at the same time (Joe Cincotta (Suffocation, Obituary), mastering by Ryan Williams (The Black Dahlia Murder)). I was also intrigued by the cover art, which was created, as always, by the excellent Dan Seagrave (Morbid Angel, Malevolent Creation). The music itself is like an avalanche, like a tsunami that sweeps you off the face of the earth. If you are a devoted fan of bands such as MONSTROSITY, VADER, MORBID ANGEL, OBSCENITY, DEICIDE, SINISTER, DECAPITATED, SUFFOCATION, DEATH, this album will definitely not leave you indifferent. Personally, I really like the way the songs are written. They have the necessary drive and power, while also containing bone-crushing melodies. "Death Never Sleeps" is exactly the kind of music you'll want to listen to when everything around you is pissing you off, when you need to clear your head. When you see some injustice on the news, when you clench your fists and want to punch the nearest wall. Death, that old bitch, is very close when you listen to this. She smiles, and why wouldn't she, when they're playing for her too. For me, there's no other option but to recommend this new release to all true fans. You will be torn to pieces, ground to dust, only to rise again in the fires of hell. Scars collected in the darkest dungeons. Old wounds that will never heal. Roughly chopped death thrash metal that will get into your subconscious! A raw and dark massacre!
