Cítíte to chvění?

"Entrophy Of Soul" je zajímavým a pestrým kouskem hudby. Album by si určitě zasloužilo silnější, průraznější produkci. Lépe by pak vynikla všechna perversní krása spletitých nápadů. Stačí doladit pár detailů a pak nám pořádně nakopou zadky. Solidní progresivní death thrashové album!

Asphyx says:

Imagine a nice blossomed tree. On the one side there are pleasant melodies and on the other side are trodden corpses hanging which are decaying. Do you have this image in your brain? Do you perceive enough all of its nuances, complexity, colours and shades? Do you feel the shivering? Then you are ready to listen the first album by Slovak progressive death thrash band SEVEN PAINFUL.

Their new album “Entrophy Of Soul” is like an indigestible bite at first. I had to chew for a while to get used to the faint sound and sometimes there are parts when the vocalist did not sound that great to me. But, my friends, this is what progressive metal is about. This band is “old” and modern at the same time, they are not afraid of discovering new nooks which have not been explored yet. Probably not everybody will love them but as we know everything needs some time. In the end those Slovak maniacs did leaned me on their side.

“Entrophy Of Soul” is an interesting and colourful piece of music. It does not lack of pressure but it also has some free and peaceful passages. In some parts they are like a metal avalanche but for the next album I would suggest to go even further with the maniac expression. When you want progressive metal, you want it all. SEVEN PAINFUL are different and it is your business if you want to submit or not. I do not see any point in comparing their music with other bands. You should decide for yourself after you listen to it. This album definitely deserve stronger and more productive production so their perverse beauty of intricate ideas could shine through. I am actually really glad that I “met” this band. I like their enthusiasm, the direction they went on. I think that we can look forward to the future and to what they will have for us. They just need to focus on some detail and to kick some ass. Solid progressive death thrash album!
