Většinou je moje práce rutina, nehledejte v ní nic tajemného. Těla zajíždějí do pece a shoří na popel. Mladí i staří, bez rozdílu věku i pohlaví. Smrt je v tomhle spravedlivá. Občas se ale stane, že slyším tichý šepot, podivný nářek. Dotyčný pak nechce shořet. Přidám teplotu a nic. Nezbývá než vzít do ruky lopatu a pohřbít jej za hřbitovní zeď. Jako všechny prokleté. Dívám se do tmy a přemýšlím, proč zrovna někteří jsou vyvolení, jiní, odlišní. Možná poslouchají také death a black metal. Věřte tomu nebo ne, ale podobné myšlenky mě napadají při poslechu prvotiny řeckých ANTICREATION velmi často.
Neumím psát o muzice stylem opisování promo materiálů. Raději na sebe nechávám desky působit a pak se pokouším svoje pocity znázornit slovy. Tentokrát jsem opravdu v nějakém starém krematoriu. Smrt je všude přítomná. Je tu ale i něco navíc, co dělá dobrá alba ještě lepšími. Možná je to nadšení, touha ničit, talent pro záhrobní věci, nevím. S čím jsem si ale absolutně jistý je, že mě "From the Dust of Embers" doslova přikovalo na zeď.
Po celou dobu poslechu se nacházíme v kobkách, ze kterých vyšly kapely typu IMMOLATION, INCANTATION, PORTAL, PSEUDOGOD, TEITANBLOOD. Řekové ctí staré pořádky. Uctívají klasický prašivý a chladný black metal i surový, plesnivý deah metal. Oba styly kombinují s přirozeným talentem pro poslední věci člověka. Existuje jenom tma, zlo, špína, nenávist. Tohle všechno se na vás z nahrávky doslova vyvalí a budete mít co dělat, abyste to ustáli. Dvojice prokletých muzikantů ale nenahrála "jenom" skvělý debut. Jsou také bolestivou ozvěnou z onoho světa. Mají v sobě něco navíc, co je odlišuje od ostatních. Songy jsou nejen skvěle napsány, ale také se velmi dobře poslouchají. Jako bych se procházel temnými chodbami pod naším městem, nahlížel do černých zákoutí a čekal, až se probudí bestie. Jedna z chodeb vede i do krematoria. Nebožtík právě zajíždí do pece. Nikdo tu není, jenom z reproduktorů zní "From the Dust of Embers". Vše připomíná starodávný obřad. Tělo samozřejmě neshoří. Naopak, probudí se v podivném stavu, jaký dokáže vyvolat jenom hudba. Děsivá zombie, která vám prokousne hrdlo. Troufám si tvrdit, že se prvotina těchto maniaků nebývale povedla. Schválně, ochutnejte. Jen si dejte pozor, abyste nebyli otráveni prudkým jedem. Ten totiž odkapává z každého riffu, z každého úderu bicích. Absolutní black death metalová zkáza!

Maybe they also listen to death and black metal. Believe it or not, similar thoughts come to my mind very often when listening to the debut album of Greek ANTICREATION.
I can't write about music in the style of copying promo material. I prefer to let the records affect me and then try to put my feelings into words. I'm really in an old crematorium this time. Death is everywhere. But there's something extra that makes good albums even better. Maybe it's enthusiasm, a desire to destroy, a talent for the afterlife, I don't know. But what I am absolutely sure of is that "From the Dust of Embers" literally drove me up the wall.
All the time we are in the dungeons from which bands like IMMOLATION, INCANTATION, PORTAL, PSEUDOGOD, TEITANBLOOD came out. The Greeks honor the old ways. They worship classic dusty and cold black metal and raw, moldy death metal. They combine both styles with a natural talent for the last things of man. There is only darkness, evil, filth, and hatred. All of this will literally pour out at you from the record and you'll have your work cut out for you. But the pair of cursed musicians didn't "just" record a great debut. They are also a painful echo from the other world. They have something extra that sets them apart from the rest. The songs are not only brilliantly written but also very easy to listen to. It's like walking through the dark corridors beneath our city, peering into the black corners and waiting for the beast to awaken. One of the corridors leads to the crematorium. The deceased is now entering the furnace. No one's here, just "From the Dust of Embers" blasting from the speakers. It's like an ancient ceremony. The body, of course, will not burn. On the contrary, he wakes up in a strange state that only music can induce. A terrifying zombie that will bite your throat. I dare say this is an unprecedentedly successful first effort by these maniacs. Taste it. Just be careful not to be poisoned by the violent venom. It drips from every riff, every drum beat. Absolute black death metal destruction!
