Bolí mě něco uvnitř. Těžko se to popisuje, mé pocity pochopí stejně jenom lidé, kteří přišli o někoho blízkého. Budíte se v noci, mluvíte s přízraky. Ztrácíte se v představách a nemáte rádi společnost. Raději sedáte pod staletými stromy a čtete si nápisy na náhrobcích. Už nikdy nenaleznete klid. Můžete jenom trošku otupit svoji bolest. Nebo spadnout po zádech do hlubiny a poslouchat hudbu, kterou hrají němečtí funeral doom metalisté ADVERSVM.
Ti letos přicházejí se svým třetím dlouhohrajícím albem, které je po okraj narvané smutkem, pomalými, táhlými melodiemi a náladami, u kterých slabší jedince přepadnou depresivní stavy. Bývám většinou pozitivní člověk, ale někdy mám chuť se zastavit a nahlédnout za oponu, na druhou stranu. Setkat se s přízraky a nechat se unášet na krvavých vlnách řeky Styx.
Nahrávka se kolem mě nejdřív plazila jako velmi jedovatý had, čekající na svoji kořist. Ušknut jsem byl až po nějakém čase, když jsem měl zrovna špatnou náladu a celý svět mi připadal zlý a ošklivý. Najednou jsem před sebou znovu viděl rakev, jak zajíždí do hlubokého hrobu. ADVERSVM jsou velmi uvěřitelní, hrají si s černými melodiemi jako šelma s obětí. Deska je velmi smutná, depresivní, melancholická. Je přesnou definicí stylu, přesto trošku jiná. Jemné nuance asi rozeznají jenom fanoušci, ale věřte mi, že pokud dáte albu čas, propadnete naprosté tmě. Nebudu vám tvorbu skupiny k nikomu záměrně přirovnávat, udělejte si raději názor podle přiložených ukázek. Doporučuji zhasnout všechna světla, zavřít se do své kobky. Mě osobně se při společných setkáních zklidnily všechny mé životní funkce. Užíval jsem si odkazy na staré doom i death metalové kapely, ale hlavně celkovou strukturu skladeb. Zmínit musím i velmi povedený zvuk a obal. "Vama Marga" prodlouží stíny kolem vás. Začnete přemýšlet nad smrtí a nad tím, co bude potom. Jsme jenom prachem, vznášejícím se v nekonečním vesmíru. Jsem moc rád, že jsem tohle mocné, majestátní, záhadné a magické album potkal. Stalo se na dlouhý čas mojí součástí, byl jsem jím nasáklý jako zkaženou zem krví z proříznuté tepny. Líbí se mi způsob, jakým pánové k hudbě přistupují. Věřím jim každý riff, každý děsivý motiv. Znovu a znovu usedám pod stoletý strom a rozmlouvám s mrtvými. Pokud jste na tom jako já, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Dostanete obrovskou porci žalu, zmaru a ledových melodií. Mystický, magický funerální doom metal, studený jako mlha nad hřbitovem!

This year, they come with their third full-length album, which is packed to the brim with sadness, slow, dragging melodies and moods that make the weaker individuals fall into depressive states. I tend to be a positive person, but sometimes I want to stop and peek behind the curtain, on the other side. To meet the ghosts and let myself drift on the bloody waves of the river Styx.
At first, the recording slithered around me like a very venomous snake waiting for its prey. I was strangled after some time, when I was in a bad mood and the whole world seemed bad and ugly. Suddenly I saw the coffin again in front of me, going down into a deep grave. ADVERSVM are very believable, they play with black melodies like a beast with a victim. The album is very sad, depressing, melancholic. It is the exact definition of the style, yet a bit different. The subtle nuances will probably only be discerned by fans, but trust me, if you give the album time, you will fall into complete darkness. I'm not going to deliberately compare the band's work to anyone, rather make your own opinion based on the attached samples. I recommend you turn off all the lights, close yourself in your dungeon. Personally, all my vital functions have calmed down when we meet together. I enjoyed the references to old doom and death metal bands, but most of all the overall structure of the songs. I must also mention the very hilarious sound and cover art. "Vama Marga" will lengthen the shadows around you. You start thinking about death and what will happen afterwards. We are just dust floating in an infinite universe. I'm so glad I came across this powerful, majestic, mysterious and magical album. It became a part of me for a long time, I was soaked in it like the tainted earth with blood from a cut artery. I like the way the gentlemen approach the music. I trust them with every riff, every eerie motif. Time and time again I sit under a hundred-year-old tree and talk to the dead. If you're like me, don't hesitate a moment. You'll get a huge dose of grief, doom and icy melodies. Mystical, magical funeral doom metal, cold as the fog over the cemetery!
