Už zase mám neobytný pocit, že cítím pach rozkládajícího se těla. Vůně smrti se vznáší všude kolem a já přemýšlím, kdy jsem byl v téhle kryptě naposledy. Už to nějaký rok bude. Začalo to vlastně nenápadně. Postupně se dostávali démoni do mých snů. Potkával jsem je v temných ulicích. Nic neříkali, přesto jsem moc dobře věděl, kam mám jít. Kobka v rohu zdánlivě opuštěného kostela. Nad vchodem je nápis TUMULATION a uvnitř několik zohavených těl.
Přesně takové představy mám, když poslouchám debutové album amerických doom death metalistů stejného jména. V mém pokoji se ochladilo o několik stupňů a mrzne mi krev v žilách. Jsem posluchač starého stylu, který musí kapele jejich morbidní práci věřit. A album "Haunted Funeral Creations" mě několikrát pohřbilo zaživa.
Pokud jste, stejně jako já, fanoušci kapel typu AUTOPSY, WINTER, HOODED MENACE, PARADISE LOST, INCANTATION, COFFINS, CELTIC FROST, a dalších tmářů, určitě se budete cítit dobře i v přítomnosti téhle smečky. Základem je masivní, krásně čitelný zvuk, který se vám ihned dostane pod kůži. Je pro mě velmi příjemné sestoupit do nekonečných chodeb podzemí a otevřít další prašivou rakev. Moc dobře vím, že vydá další svědectví o starých poctivých metalových časech, o smutku a utrpení. Stejně jako tahle deska. Představte si dlouhý průvod bez konce. Otevřený hrob a vystavenou mrtvolu. Pozůstalí nepláčou, nikdo neměl zemřelého rád. Říkali o něm, že byl prokletý a uhranutý, že věřil jenom ve zlo a nenávist. Jeho mrtvola se začala po smrti měnit v černou zrůdu. Další skladba, další pohřeb člověka bez duše. Líbí se mi, jakým způsobem jsou skladby napsány a k "Haunted Funeral Creations" se rád a často vracím. Věřím kapele každý tón, každou notu. Až mě jednou ponesou na márách, tak si nechám přehrát desku od začátku do konce. Jen si to představte, chladný a znesvěcený kostel, zástup bledých tváří. Ostrý riff, který prořízne ticho a potom si všichni užijí pochmurnou atmosféru. Pánové si hrají s náladami a připomínají mi černé kouty ve starých kobkách. Smutek, podivné chvění, drive a síla, tohle všechno zde naleznete. Nejlepší ale stejně bude, když si poslechnete ukázky a uděláte si názor sami. Má slova totiž nestačí, aby vše popsala do detailů. A teď už mě prosím nechce spočinout. Rakev čeká! Mrazivý doom death metal, který je cítit bolestí a strachem! Království smutku a temnoty!

I'm getting the uninhabitable feeling of smelling a decomposing body again. The smell of death hovers all around me and I wonder when I was last in this crypt. It's been a year. It started subtly, actually. Gradually, demons have been entering my dreams. I used to meet them in the dark streets. They didn't say anything, yet I knew exactly where to go. To the corner of a seemingly abandoned church. Above the entrance is a sign that says TUMULATION and inside are several mutilated bodies.
This is exactly the image I have when I listen to the debut album of the American doom death metallers of the same name. My room has cooled down a few degrees and my blood is freezing in my veins. I'm an old style listener who has to trust the band with their morbid work. And the album "Haunted Funeral Creations" buried me alive several times.
If you are, like me, a fan of bands like AUTOPSY, WINTER, HOODED MENACE, PARADISE LOST, INCANTATION, COFFINS, CELTIC FROST, and other darkies, you will definitely feel good in the company of this band. The foundation is a massive, beautifully clear sound that gets under your skin immediately. I find it very satisfying to descend into the endless corridors of the underground and open another dirt coffin. I know very well that it will bear further testimony to the old honest metal days, to sadness and suffering. Just like this record. Imagine a long procession with no end in sight. An open grave and a corpse on exhibit. The mourners don't cry, nobody liked the deceased. They said he was cursed and bewitched, that he believed only in evil and hatred. His corpse began to turn into a black monster after death. Another song, another funeral for a man without a soul. I like the way the songs are written and I like to come back to "Haunted Funeral Creations" often. I trust the band with every note, every note. When they carry me to the coffin one day, I'll have the album played from start to finish. Just imagine, a cold and desecrated church, a crowd of pale faces. A sharp riff cuts through the silence and then everyone enjoys the gloomy atmosphere. The gentlemen play with moods and remind me of the black corners in old dungeons. Sadness, strange shivers, drive and power, you will find all this here. But it's still best if you listen to the samples and make up your own opinion. My words are not enough to describe everything in detail. And now please let me rest. The coffin awaits! Chilling doom death metal that is filled with pain and fear! A kingdom of sadness and darkness!
