Povstali další válečníci toužící po pomstě. Tisíce let se klaníme padlým modlám, posloucháme jedovaté lži falešných kněží. Modlíme se a rozhřešení nikdy nepřijde. Přetvářka i klam lze zničit jediným způsobem. Pravdou. Krutou a někdy ošklivou pravdou. Jsem vždy rád, když potkám na svých toulkách podzemím kapelu, která je věrná klasickému, tradičnímu pojetí black metalu z devadesátých let minulého století. A která se rouhá uvěřitelným způsobem.
TAÄR jsou švýcarsko-řeckou skupinou, která je tvořena zkušenými členy podsvětí. Pokud vám říkají něco jména jako BURIAL HORDES, ANTICREATION, KATAFALK, BLESSED BY PERVERSION (a spousta dalších extrémních uskupení, ve kterých tito muzikanti působí), potom jste zde správně. Pánové moc dobře vědí, co a jak chtějí hrát. Temný a chladný black metal, který smrdí sírou.
U tohoto stylu je více než kde jinde velmi důležité, aby byl zahraný přesvědčivě, autenticky, opravdově. Musíte věřit každému ostrému riffu, každé morbidní melodii. Vokál musí být nakažený chorobami a bicí vám musí vystřelit mozek z hlavy. TAÄR tohle všechno umí na výbornou a ještě přidávají spoustu podmanivě záhadných a krutých nálad k tomu. Připadám si jako bych byl lovenou zvěří v nějakém hlubokém lese. Démoni stojí ve stínu a touží po krvi. Utíkám a když se dostanu konečně na místo, tak se stanu další z krvavých obětí. Oltář na starém pohřebišti je připraven, pohanský rituál může začít. Ohně hoří jasným černým plamenem, stejně jako album "Catharsis Till Dawn". Novinku lze doporučit všem starým prašivým psům jako jsem já, ale i všem, kteří rádi a často navštěvují prokletá místa. Pokud máte rádi kapely jako WATAIN, IMMORTAL, DISSECTION, MAYHEM, VALKYRJA, MARDUK, samozřejmě s velkou porcí vlastních nápadů a invence, potom jste zde správně. Exhumujeme spolu s kapelou ty nejhnusnější hroby padlých kněží, navštívíme márnici plnou prokletých, abychom se nakonec rozplynuli v ledovém větru ze severu. Smrt i Satan jsou při poslechu velmi blízko a peklo opravdu existuje. Nezbývá než přidat hlasitost na samou hranu bolesti a nechat se unášet mrazivými melodiemi. TAÄR are a Swiss-Greek band made up of experienced members of the underground. If names like BURIAL HORDES, ANTICREATION, KATAFALK, BLESSED BY PERVERSION (and the many other extreme acts these musicians are involved in) mean anything to you, then you've come to the right place. The gentlemen know very well what and how they want to play. Dark and cold black metal that smells of sulfur.
With this style, more than anywhere else, it is very important that it is played convincingly, authentically, genuinely. You have to believe every sharp riff, every morbid melody. The vocals have to be infected with disease and the drums have to blow your brains out. TAÄR do all of this to perfection and add a lot of captivatingly mysterious and cruel moods to it. I feel like I'm a hunted game in some deep forest. Demons standing in the shadows, baying for blood. I run, and when I finally reach the spot, I become another of the bloody victims. The altar in the old burial ground is ready, the pagan ritual can begin. The fires burn with a bright black flame, just like the album "Catharsis Till Dawn". The new album can be recommended to all old mangy dogs like me, but also to all those who like to visit cursed places often. If you like bands like WATAIN, IMMORTAL, DISSECTION, MAYHEM, VALKYRJA, MARDUK, of course with a big portion of your own ideas and inventiveness, then you are here right. Together with the band we will exhume the ugliest graves of fallen priests, visit a morgue full of the damned, to finally melt away in the icy wind from the north. Death and Satan are very close as we listen, and hell really does exist. We have no choice but to turn up the volume to the very edge of pain and let the chilling melodies take us away.
