Nůž zabodnutý hluboko do vnitřností. Bolestný pohled plný strachu. Lovci a oběti. Jakoby na povrch najednou vyplulo všechno zlé, co měl v sobě. Nenávist, hromaděná dlouhé roky a opečovávaná. O samotě, jen se svým pomýleným mozkem. Náhoda, že potkáte někoho takového, je velmi malá. Přesto se to stalo. Ležíš teď v tratolišti krve a přemýšlíš, jaké to bude na druhé straně. Naposledy vydechneš a jako nějaký soundtrack k tvému odchodu, zní éterem nové album maniaka Evana Daniela.

Ten je opět podepsán pod veškerou hudbou, nahráváním a dokonce i motivem na obalu. Nové album DEAD AND DRIPPING je zde a vy si znovu můžete vychutnat morbidní nálady a temnotu brutálního death metalu. Atmosféra je velmi podobná té, kterou jsem zmínil v úvodu dnešního článku. Základem je zde sice klasický, tradiční brutální death metal, ale Evan přidává velkou porci svých progresivních a zajímavých nápadů. Budete strženi do hlubiny!

Opravdoví fanoušci třeba takových WORMED, DEMILICH, DEFEATED SANITY, SUFFOCATION, BRUTALITY, MONSTROSITY, MORTAL DECAY, OBSCENITY mi určitě potvrdí, že se zde hraje od srdce, s krvavou jiskrou v oku a že pokud strávíte s novým albem "Nefarious Scintillations" delší čas, dostane se vám postupně do žil. Mě se to alespoň stalo. Sledoval jsem zrovna nějaké hororové filmy, spíše klasické a pokaždé, když jsem skončil, tak jsem dostal chuť na nějakou poctivou, reálnou, autentickou muziku. Přiznám se bez mučení, že DEAD AND DRIPPING jsem volil dost často. Není divu, skladby jsou velmi dobře napsány, mají v sobě potřebný drive a sílu a zároveň i takovou zvláštní náladu. Evan Daniel má zkrátka svůj vlastní rukopis, otisk, ksicht chcete-li. Tohle je samo o sobě v dnešní době poměrně vzácnost. Navíc se novinka opravdu dobře poslouchá. Jako bych stál v temné uličce na periferii našeho města. Již dlouho mám pocit, že mě někdo sleduje. Záblesk nože pod pouliční lampou. Krvelačný pohled. Tichý zvrácený šepot. Nové album je masakrující, divoké a nespoutané. Vystřelí vám mozek z hlavy a vyrve všechny vnitřnosti z těla. Jasně, tohle není hudba pro slabé povahy. Jedná se spíše o záležitost, kteří ocení gurmáni s vybraným morbidním vkusem. Nůž zabodnutý hluboko do vnitřností. Bolestný pohled plný strachu. Lovci a oběti. Jakoby na povrch najednou vyplulo všechno zlé, co měl v sobě. Nenávist, hromaděná dlouhé roky a opečovávaná. O samotě, jen se svým pomýleným mozkem. Syrový, devastující, propracovaný brutální death metal, s temně krvavou atmosférou! Masakr na pitevně!

He is once again responsible for all the music, recording, and even the cover art. The new album DEAD AND DRIPPING is here, and you can once again enjoy the morbid moods and darkness of brutal death metal. The atmosphere is very similar to what I mentioned in the introduction to today's article. The basis here is classic, traditional brutal death metal, but Evan adds a large dose of his progressive and interesting ideas. You will be drawn into the depths!

True fans of bands like WORMED, DEMILICH, DEFEATED SANITY, SUFFOCATION, BRUTALITY, MONSTROSITY, MORTAL DECAY, OBSCENITY will certainly confirm that they play from the heart, with a bloody sparkle in their eyes, and that if you spend a longer time with the new album "Nefarious Scintillations", it will gradually get into your veins. At least that's what happened to me. I was watching some horror films, rather classic ones, and every time I finished, I felt like listening to some honest, real, authentic music. I admit without hesitation that I chose DEAD AND DRIPPING quite often. It's no wonder, the songs are very well written, they have the necessary drive and strength and at the same time such a special mood. Evan Daniel simply has his own handwriting, imprint, face if you will. This in itself is quite a rarity these days. Moreover, the new album is really good to listen to. It's like I'm standing in a dark alley on the outskirts of our city. I've had the feeling for a long time that someone is watching me. The flash of a knife under a street lamp. A bloodthirsty look. A quiet, twisted whisper. The new album is massacre, wild and unbridled. It will blow your brains out of your head and rip all your insides out of your body. Of course, this is not music for the faint of heart. It is more of a matter that gourmets with a select morbid taste will appreciate. A knife stuck deep into the insides. A painful look full of fear. Hunters and victims. As if all the evil that was inside him suddenly surfaced. Hatred, accumulated for many years and nurtured. Alone, with only his confused brain. Raw, devastating, sophisticated brutal death metal, with a darkly bloody atmosphere! A massacre in the autopsy room!

Měl bych určit způsob smrti, ale tentokrát mám problém. Na hromadě leží kusy rozsekaných těl. Pomíchané ruce a nohy, mozky vystřelené z hlavy, vnitřnosti vyhřezlé ven. Nikdy si na ten pohled nezvyknu. Hejna much a zápach, po kterém se každému ihned zvedne žaludek. Stále dokola si pokládám otázky, kdo to mohl udělat? Odpověď nepřichází, protože viníkem jsou obyčejní lidé jako já a nebo ty. Jen se ocitli uprostřed války a na povrch vylezly jejich temné myšlenky. Hoď kamenem, kdo jsi bez viny.

Pokaždé, když mě zaujme nějaká brutální death metalová kapela, tak si vzpomenu na děsivé dokumenty z jedné ze světových válek. Kývám se do rytmu, vychutnávám si morbidní melodie a přemýšlím, kolik způsobů zabíjení ještě lidé vymyslí. Hlavou mi poletují šílené obrazy a oceňuji temnotu i chlad, se kterými DEAD AND DRIPPING přišli. Třetí dlouhohrající album v řadě, třetí zářez přímo do živého. 

"Blackened Cerebral Rifts" je velmi surovým albem. Mám pocit, že jsem na starých opuštěných jatkách, která sice byla před lety uzavřena, ale do zdí je stále otištěn nářek obětí. Jediným členem téhle šílené kapely je Evan Daniele, který je podepsán pod všemi nástroji i vokálem. Jedná se o zkušeného maniaka, který nepodcenil vůbec nic. Skvělý obal od Jasona Wayne Barnetta vás uvede do kruté hry, zalknete se masivním, hutným a prašivým zvukem a necháte si vpíchnout do žil jednotlivé skladby. Tohle album je devastující jízda ve stylu WORMED, DEMILICH, DEFEATED SANITY, SUFFOCATION, BRUTALITY, MONSTROSITY, MORTAL DECAY, OBSCENITY. Nenašel jsem na desce žádné slabé místo. Naopak, mozek se mi uvařil ve vlastní šťávě, maso odpadalo od kostí a když jsem byl nakonec přikován ostrými riffy na zeď, zemřel jsem v ukrutných křečích. DEAD AND DRIPPING mě přesvědčili na svoji stranu. Měl jsem často pocit, že se zalykám zkaženou krví. Poslech oceníte především, pokud jste fanoušci žánru, ale myslím, že osloví i ostatní. Jedná se o extrém, ale velmi dobře zahraný. Songy jsou propracované, mají v sobě potřebnou dávku špíny, hnisu a vzteku. V některých momentech jsou možná moc dlouhé, ale to berte jen jako názor člověka, který toho slyšel už tolik, že mu to někdy leze z hlavy ven. Jako celek je "Blackened Cerebral Rifts" skvělou příležitostí vyčistit si myšlenky od všeho zlého. Až zase půjdu ohledávat mrtvoly, vezmu si tohle album s sebou. Je totiž krutým obrazem nás samých. Mocné, zničující, kruté, masakrující, brutální death metalové šílenství!

I should determine the manner of death, but this time I have a problem. There are pieces of dismembered bodies lying in a pile. Arms and legs scrambled, brains blown out of their heads, intestines spilling out. I'll never get used to the sight. swarms of flies and a smell that makes everyone sick to their stomach. I ask myself over and over again, who could have done this? The answer doesn't come because the culprits are ordinary people like me or you. They just found themselves in the middle of a war and their dark thoughts came to the surface. Throw a stone, who are you without blame.

Every time a brutal death metal band catches my attention, I think of horrific documentaries from one of the world wars. I nod to the beat, enjoy the morbid melodies and wonder how many more ways of killing people will come up with. Crazy images fly through my head and I appreciate the darkness and coldness that DEAD AND DRIPPING came up with. The third long-playing album in a row, the third notch right into live.

"Blackened Cerebral Rifts" is a very raw album. I feel like I'm in an old abandoned slaughterhouse that may have been closed years ago, but the wailing of the victims is still imprinted on the walls. The only member of this crazy band is Evan Daniele, who is signed to all the instruments and vocals. This is a seasoned maniac who hasn't underestimated anything. The great cover art by Jason Wayne Barnett will put you in the cruel game, you'll get soaked by the massive, thick and dusty sound and let each track inject itself into your veins. This album is a devastating ride in the style of WORMED, DEMILICH, DEFEATED SANITY, SUFFOCATION, BRUTALITY, MONSTROSITY, MORTAL DECAY, OBSCENITY. I didn't find any weak point on the album. On the contrary, my brain was cooked in its own juices, the flesh was falling off the bones and when I was finally pinned to the wall by sharp riffs, I died in violent convulsions. DEAD AND DRIPPING convinced me to their side. I often felt like I was gagging on bad blood. You'll especially appreciate listening to this if you're a fan of the genre, but I think it will appeal to others as well. It is an extreme, but very well played. The songs are sophisticated and have the requisite amount of filth, pus and rage. They may be too long at some points, but just take that as the opinion of someone who has heard so much that it sometimes gets out of his head. As a whole, "Blackened Cerebral Rifts" is a great opportunity to clear your mind of all the bad stuff. When I go looking for dead bodies again, I'll take this album with me. It's a cruel picture of ourselves. Powerful, devastating, cruel, slaughtering, brutal death metal madness!
