Mrtvolné ticho nad starým hřbitovem vysoko v horách bylo jen zdánlivé. Procházel jsem se mezi náhrobky a něco bylo jinak, než obvykle. Z márnice se začaly ozývat podivné zvuky. Měl jsem pocit, že někdo stojí ve stínu, že slyším šepot nemrtvých. Měl jsem strach a v kostech se mi jako nějaké děsivé svědomí usadil chlad. První kostnatou ruku jsem spatřil u jedné staré hrobky obrostlé břečťanem. Nemrtví se vrátili. Nad vchodem byl nápis FUNERAL VOMIT.
Všichni, kdo tuhle kolumbijskou smečku znáte, tak moc dobře víte, že se jedná o kapelu, na kterou je spolehnutí. I letos pánové přicházejí s nahrubo nasekaným death metalem té nejvyšší kvality. Žádné zbytečnosti, jenom bolest a utrpení. Pouze čerstvě otevřené hroby, smrad rozkládajících se těl. Vítejte v záhrobí!
Kousek od našeho domu našli oběšence. Byl zmrzlý na kost a kýval se ve větru. Oči mu vyklovali krkavci a říká se, že od té doby chodí lesem a straší. Nevím, co je na tom pravdy, jistý jsem si ale s tím, že atmosféra je velmi podobná, jako ta, kterou můžete potkat i na novém albu "Upheaval Of Necromancy". Chlad, temnota, hnis a špína, tohle všechno zde naleznete. Vše zabalené v masivním, syrovém zvuku, s děsivým stylovým obalem. Pánové jsou ve skvělé formě a osobně musím říct, že si jejich novinku opravdu od srdce užívám. Je pro mě přesnou definicí toho, co mám na death metalu jako stylu rád. Pokud se vám líbí smečky jako AUTOPSY, MORTICIAN, CARNAGE, CREMATORY, CARCASS, INCANTATION, INFESTER, SINISTER, potom bude i pro vás nová nahrávka sázkou na jistotu. Kolumbijské podsvětí vydalo další děsivé svědectví. O nemrtvých, o nekonečné bolesti, o strachu a beznaději. Všechny tyhle věci při poslechu z hudby těchto tmářů cítím a vnímám všemi póry svého těla i duše. Víte, pro mě je vždy velmi důležité, abych kapele jejich morbidní práci věřil, aby byla reálná, ohlodaná na kost, ryzí, poctivá a autentická. FUNERAL VOMIT tohle všechno splňují i letos na sto procent. Pokaždé, když si nové album poslechnu, tak mám pocit, že nejsem ve svém pokoji, ale že kráčím po zdánlivě opuštěném hřbitově vysoko v horách. Smrt je velmi blízko, vnímám ji jako něco samozřejmého. My, kteří tuhle hudbu posloucháme dlouho, moc dobře víme, že existuje ještě jeden svět, který je negací toho našeho. Nechte se do něj pozvat. Hrát vám k tomu bude tahle deska. Hnilobou a zkaženou krví nasáklý morbidní death metal, který vás pohřbí zaživa! Temné a chladné ozvěny z onoho světa!

The deathly silence above the old cemetery high in the mountains was only apparent. I was walking among the gravestones and something was different than usual. Strange sounds began to emanate from the morgue. I had the feeling that someone was standing in the shadows, that I could hear the whispers of the undead. I was afraid, and a chill settled in my bones like some terrifying conscience. I saw the first bony hand at an old tomb overgrown with ivy. The undead had returned. I feel and perceive all these things with every pore of my body and soul when listening to the music of these dark masters. You know, it's always very important to me that I believe in the band's morbid work, that it's real, stripped down to the bone, pure, honest, and authentic. FUNERAL VOMIT fulfills all of these criteria one hundred percent this year as well. Every time I listen to the new album, I feel like I'm not in my room, but walking through a seemingly abandoned cemetery high in the mountains.
