Mám rád, když má hlava upadne v nekonečném headbangingu. Když mě kapela dokáže zvednout ze židle, přišpendlit mě svojí energií na stěnu, vytřít se mnou podlahu a ještě se u toho usmívám. Španělští thrasheři NO AMNESTY tohle všechno umí. Dokáží předat obrovské množství energie v několika skladbách. Jsou ostří, nekompromisní, přesto melodičtí a dobře poslouchatelní.
Pánové se nechali volně inspirovat třeba takovými METALLICA, HAVOK, OVERKILL, EXODUS, TESTAMENT, EVILE. Nijak sice nevybočují z jasně daných mantinelů, ale jejich hudba je velmi dobře vstřebatelná, užívám si ji a polykám ji s chutí. Líbí se mi mladické nadšení, rychlost, dobrý, řezající zvuk, ale hlavně melodie. Těch je na desce nebývalé množství, jsou zapamatovatelné a složené s jasným cílem - zničit vás, vymazat z povrchu zemského. Jasně, nejedná se o nic nového pod slunce, ale přátelé, já jsem na tomhle světě od toho, abych si užil dobrou muziku! NO AMNESTY mě svým prvním dlouhohrajícím albem přesvědčili, naklonili si mě na svoji stranu a donutili uspořádat doma soukromý mosh-pit. Jsou melodičtí, skladby jsou propracované a řežou tou správnou stranou nože. Nezbývá, než přidat pořádně volume doprava a pak už se jen oddávat muzice. Skvělé album pro všechny pravé thrashery!

I like when my head falls into the endless headbanging. When a band can get me out of my chair, pinch me on the wall with its energy, wipe a floor with me and I am still smiling. A Spanish thrash band NO AMNESTY can do all of this. They can give a great portion of energy in a few songs. They are sharp, uncompromising and at the same time melodic and easy to listen to.
Those gentlemen were freely inspired by bands like METALLICA, HAVOK, OVERKILL, EXODUS, TESTAMENT, EVILE. They do not really go beyond the clearly-defined boarders but their music is easily absorbed and I enjoy it and am glad to taste it. I like the young enthusiasm, speed, good and cutting sound but mostly the melodies. There are so many of them on the new album they are memorable and composed with a clear target – to destroy you, get you out of this world. Sure, it is nothing revolutionary but guys, I am here to enjoy great music! NO AMNESTY convinced me with their long-played album, they leaned me on their side and made me to organize a private mosh-pit. They are melodic, their songs are worked out and cut with the right side of the knife. There is nothing left rather than to turn up the volume and just enjoy the music. Great album for every real thrash fans!
tak včera mi kolega Google poslal email s tím, že jsem milionář. Za necelých 3,5 roku od založení navštívilo náš blog přes milión lidí. Já myslím, že jsme ten underground, death, thrash, doom apod. alespoň trošku podpořili. Důkazem budiž počítadlo návštěv dole na stránce.

CD 2017, Caverna Abismal for english please scroll down Až jednou odevzdám své tělo stínům, nebude už návratu. Odpadne mi maso od kostí, stanu se potravou pro červy. Mé tkáně se rozpadnou a mozek napadne plíseň a hniloba. Nebude na mě hezký pohled, ale přesto budu dál poslouchal pravý rezavý thrash metal. Pouštím si nové album portugalských thrasherů PERPETRATÖR a připadám si, jakoby mi někdo vrazil ruku do vnitřností a kroutili mi jimi do velké bolesti. Vypadá to, že jsme stejné krve, já i kapela. "Altered Beast" nenechá nikoho na pochybách. Je energickým albem narvaným tlakem a ostrými riffy.
"Altered Beast" je také deskou, která je plná klasického německého thrashe (DESTRUCTION, SODOM, KREATOR, PROTECTOR) osmdesátých a devadesátých let, s lehkou příměsí americké odnože, kdy je do skladeb přidávána přeci jen trošku větší melodičnost. Skladby náležitě řežou, zvuk je poctivě ostrý a špinavý a obal má také tu správnou atmosféru. Náhodě nebylo ponecháno nic a výsledkem je nahrávka, kterou si s chutí sebou vezmu do hrobu. Na PERPETRATÖR se mi asi nejvíce líbí, že má jejich tvorba spoustu nálad, emocí, připomíná mi erupci sopky, která právě začala chrlit oheň, lávu a pravý ortodoxní thrash metal. Pro mě osobně se jedná o vynikající záležitost. Už se těším, až zase své tělo odevzdám stínům. V pekle nám bude spolu dobře. Skvělý počin!

My tissues will break and my brain will be attacked by mould and rot. It will not be a nice picture to look at but I will continue in listening to rusty thrash metal.
I am listening to the new album by Portuguese thrash band PERPETRATÖR and I feel like someone put guts in my hands and twisted them until I was screaming with pain. It looks like we have the same blood – me and the band. “Altered Beast” will not be left in doubts. It is an energetic album filled with pressure and sharp riffs.
“Altered Beast” is an album which is full of classic German thrash (DESTRUCTION, SODOM, KREATOR, PROTECTOR) of the 80s and 90s with a slight admixture of American music. There is a little more melodic music. Those songs nicely cut, the sound is sharp and dirty and the cover has the right atmosphere. There was nothing left to chance and the result is an album which I will take to grave. What I like the most about PERPETRATÖR is that their music has many moods, emotions, it seems like the eruption of the volcano which has just started to fire lava, smoke and the real orthodox thrash metal. Personally, I think that this album is excellent. I am looking forward to succumb my body to the shadows. We will be happy in hell together. Great achievement!
CD 2018, Hammerheart Records for english please scroll down Držím v ruce velkou žhnoucí kostku. Tepe a pálí mě v rukou. Různě se mění. Je ukována z nových kovových materiálů. Připomíná magma, které vysílá a zároveň přijímá z vesmíru temnou energii. Stal jsem se médiem, transcendentální bytostí, která do sebe nasává obrovskou sílu. Nové album "Hadeon" slavných PESTILENCE je pro mě velkým překvapením v pozitivním slova smyslu. Patrickovi Mamelimu a jeho věrným se povedlo vydat desku, která mě již po několika setkáních vtáhla přímo do sebe. Technika se zde potkává s chladným odříkáváním temné mantry. Během poslechu neustále zakláním hlavu a hledím k černé obloze.
PESTILENCE letos kombinují komplikované, moderně znějící riffy, se skvělým zvukem ve velmi zajímavém poměru. Hudba je tentokrát současná a klasická zároveň. Na "Hadeon" nalezneme tradiční valivé pasáže, které jsou jasným poznávacím znamením kapely, tak i umně vložené technické prvky. Ty nijak neruší, neodpoutávají pozornost. Naopak, celou nahrávku zpestřují a posouvají ji do nových oblastí. Perfektní je produkce (mastering Dan Swano) i obal (Michal Loranc). Album se ve výsledku neskutečně dobře poslouchá, je doslova žhnoucí, se spoustou různých zákoutí, které mám velkou chuť stále objevovat. Příznivci předchozích dvou počinů budou asi lehce zklamáni, možná čekali víc jazzu a experimentů, ale současná tvář a podoba PESTILENCE mi velmi vyhovuje. Připomínají mi stroj na zabíjení z blízké budoucnosti. Vynikající deska, ze které sálá černá energie na všechny strany!

The new album “Hadeon” of the famous band PESTILENCE is a very positive surprise for me. Patrick Mameli and his loyal ones managed to release an album which dragged me into itself. The technique meets the cold chanting of the dark mantra meets here. While listening I keep staring at the black sky.
PESTILENCE combine complicated and modern-sounded riffs with great sound in a very interesting rate this year. The music is up to date and classic at the same time. On “Hadeon” we can find traditional rolling passages which are a clear signature of the band but also there are artificially incorporate technical elements. They are not disturbing, does not distract you. More like the opposite, the whole recording is spiced up with them and they move the album to different levels. Perfect production (mastering Dan Swano), perfect cover (Michal Loranc). The album is very easy to listen to, it is glowing with fire with many various corners which I want to keep discovering. All supporters of the previous two albums might be quite disappointed, they might prefer more jazz and experiments. But the current face of PESTILENCE is very suitable for me. They remind me a killing machine from the near future. Excellent album which is glowing dark energy to all sides!
CD 2017, MDD Records for english please scrool down Studený a bolestivý, takový je dech mrtvé milenky. Chodím sem, za hřbitovní zeď každý den, většinou k večeru, když se stíny začínají prodlužovat. Zvon z márnice upozorňuje, že za chvilku budeme muset opustit hřbitov. Ne, ještě zde zůstanu, ukrytý za náhrobek z pískovce. Schoulen v poloze plné očekávání, poslouchám nové album německých death metalistů CORROSIVE. Ti na své novince "Lucifer Gave the Faith" perfektně vystihli chladnou a temnou atmosféru místa. Už jen pár hodin a setkáme se znovu, ve společném objetí budeme velebit jeden druhého a klasický death metal, který drásá, bolí a zároveň zmrazí naši mysl. Až na věky, amen!
V desce "Lucifer Gave the Faith" jsem si pro sebe nalezl vše, co mám na dobré hudbě rád. Melodie, sílu, energii, tajemno, syrovost. Staroškolský death metal je zde kombinován s tím melodickým, švédským, v takovém poměru, že jsem musel padnout na kolena. Máme každý na světě přesně vymezený čas a já ten svůj s chutí strávím poslechem podobných nahrávek. Vždyť co může být lepšího, než když vše zapadne krásně do sebe - parádní obal, skladby, co hnijí zaživa, surový čitelný zvuk a hlavně melodie, na kterých budete viset jako ten nejhezčí oběšenec. Nové album CORROSIVE je pro mě obrovským překvapením a také zážitkem, který způsobuje hnilobu mé vlastní krve. Vynikající záležitost pro všechny, kteří mají rádi starý poctivý death metal s nezbytnou dávnou chladných motivů!

I am shrink in the position of expectation, listening to the new album by German death metal band CORROSIVE.
They perfectly captured the cold and dark atmosphere of the place on their new album “Lucifer Gave the Faith”. Only a few hours and we will meet again in hug we will glorify each other and the classic death metal which hurts and freezes our minds. For ever, amen!
On the album “Lucifer Gave the Faith” I have found everything I like about good music. Melodies, power, energy, darkness and rawness. The old school death metal is combined with melodic, Swedish death metal. The combination has the right ratio and I had to fall on my knees. All of us has some definite time on this world and I will gladly spend my time with listening to similar albums. What can be better than when everything just fits together – great cover, songs which rot alive, raw readable sound and most importantly the melodies on which you will hang like the prettiest hangman. The new album by CORROSIVE is a very big surprise for me but also a great experience which causes the rotting in my own blood. It is an excellent thing for everybody who like the old real death metal with the necessary cool old motifs!
EP 2017, vlastní vydání for english please scroll down Má rakev hořela, už když jsem do ní uléhal. Plameny olizovaly poslední zbytky zuboženého těla. Víra tvá tě uzdraví, říkali, ale šeredně se pletli. Existuje jen temnota, zloba a smrt. Brány pekelné se otevřely, aby vydaly další svědectví. Jsem upalován bezbožnými plameny nové desky australských death metalistů ETERNAL TORMENT. Předkládán je nám klasický floridský death metal, tak jak ho známe třeba u takových MORBID ANGEL, DEICIDE, IMMOLATION, SUFFOCATION. Navíc, jako krvavý bonus, je přidána pořádná porce temnoty a špíny. Jedná se o tradiční, surově znějící smrtící kov té nejvyšší kvality.
Na "Blind to Reality" je umíchán pořádně nechutný a morbidní koktejl. Skvělé riffy se vám doslova zadřou pod kůži, rozcupují váš mozek na zcela zbytečné chuchvalce kdysi inteligentní hmoty. Přiznávám, stal jsem se na tomto albu zcela závislým. Klaněl jsem se stejným modlám a vzýval perfektní zvuk, monumentální obal i chorobný vokál. Jako pravému fanouškovi death metalu mi zde nechybí vůbec nic. Novinka zcela masakruje, drtí, přesto je propracovaná, chytře složená a jako celek působí tím správným bolestivým dojmem. Smrt je zase tak blízko! Vidím před sebou svoji vlastní rakev, jak hoří pekelným ohněm. Láká mě, přitahuje, stejně jako záhrobí a "Blind to Reality". Pro mě osobně se jedná o vynikající nahrávku, kterou hodnotím opravdu velmi vysoko. Realita je už dávno slepá, zůstávám raději na onom světě. Vivat death metal, vivat ETERNAL TORMENT!

My coffin was burning when I was in it. Flames licked the remains of the writhing body. Your beliefs will heal you, they say, but they are wrong. There is only darkness, anger and death. The hell gates have opened to give further testimony. I am being burned out with godless flames of the new album by an Australian death metal ETERNAL TORMENT.
They present to us a classic Florida death metal how we know it for example from bands like MORBID ANGEL, DEICIDE, IMMOLATION, SUFFOCATION. In addition, as a bloody bonus, they add a great portion of darkness and dirt. This is a traditional, raw-sounded metal of the highest quality.
The album “Blind to Reality” is mixed as a disgusting and morbid cocktail. Great riffs will go right under your skin and will squash your brain into useless bits of once intelligent matter. I admit that I become quite addicted on this album. I worshiped to the same idols and called the perfect sound, monumental cover and also the sick vocal. As a real death metal fan I got what I wanted and there is nothing missing. The new album absolutely massacres, crushes and yet it is elaborated, cleverly composed and as a whole it has the right painful impression. The death is so close! In front of me I can see my own coffin burning with the hell fire. It attacks me just like the beyond world and the “Blind to Reality”. Personally, I would say that this is an excellent album and I would rate it really high. The reality has been blind for so long I rather stay in the beyond world. Vivat death metal, vivat ETERNAL TORMENT!
CD 2018, Symbol of Domination and Cimmerian Shade Recordings for english please scroll down Od stěny se odlepil temný stín. Najednou jste měli pocit lovené zvěře. Záblesk nože v ulici, pach smrti. Proříznutá tepna, sražené kapky krve, rozstříknuté po dlažbě. Tu noc bylo sychravo a kolem vás se pomalu vytvářely rudé kaluže. Městem obcházel vrah. Lidé se báli chodit ven. Celou čtvrť jakoby zahalil černý mrak z nenávisti. Pouštím si novou desku maniaků BESTIALORD a jsem doslova unesený pochmurnou náladou celé nahrávky. Jakoby se v jejich hudbě prolínala temnota, smrt a zloba. Skladby v sobě mají jakousi magickou formuli, která mě nutí k dalším a dalším poslechům.
Album "Law of the Burning" je volně inspirováno kapelami jako MORBID ANGEL, CELTIC FROST, OBITUARY, CANDLEMASS, ACID WITCH, THE OBSESSED, BLACK SABBATH, MERCYFUL FATE. Samozřejmě, BESTIALORD mají svůj vlastní ksicht, nezaměnitelnou černou auru. Přiznám se, že takhle dobře umíchaný jed z doom metalu, starého deathu, thrashe a hororových témat jsem už dlouho neslyšel. Jakoby se mým pokojem procházel opravdový vrah. Kapela je schopna složit velmi návykové riffy, nahrávka má skvělý prašivý zvuk a vokalista připomíná zombie, právě vylezlou z hrobu. Až půjdu zase na noční směnu, vezmu si do přehrávače novou desku "Law of the Burning" a knížku od Stephena Kinga. Budu se pořád ohlížet za sebe a budu vyděšený z každého stínu. Mám pocit, že mě někdo stále sleduje. Tohle album, jakoby přišlo ze starých dobrých časů. Vtáhlo mě přímo dovnitř, do pořádně krvavého a šedivého filmu. Cítíte to také? To je pach Smrti! Vynikající deska!

A dark shadow had jumped from the wall. Suddenly you felt like a hunted animal. The shinning of the blade of a knife in the street, the smell of death. Sliced artery, dropped blood drops, splashed across the pavement. The weather was chilly that night and there were red pools slowly forming around you. There was a murderer walking in the town streets. The whole neighbourhood seemed to be covered with black cloud of hate.
I am listening to the new album by madmen BESTIALORD and I am literally kidnapped by the gloomy atmosphere of the whole album. It feels like darkness, death and music went through their music. The songs have some kind of magical formula in them which makes me to listen to them again and again.
The album “Law of the Burning” is freely inspired by bands like MORBID ANGEL, CELTIC FROST, OBITUARY, CANDLEMASS, ACID WITCH, THE OBSESSED, BLACK SABBATH, MERCYFUL FATE. Of course, BESTIALORD have their own face, the unmistakable black aura. I have to admit that I have not hear so nicely mixed poison from doom metal, old death, thrash and horror topics for a very long time. It feels like in my room is a real serial killer. The band is able to compose very addictive riffs, the album has great ashy sound and the vocalist sounds like a zombie who has just came out of a grave. When I will once again go to the night shift, I will take the new album “Law of the Burning” with me in my player and a book by Stephen King. I will keep looking behind me and will be terrified from every shadow. I feel that I am being followed by someone. This album seems like it is from the ancient times. It drew me right inside of the real bloody and grey film. Do you smell that? That is the smell of death! Excellent album!
A few questions – interview with death/doom metal band from USA - BESTIALORD. Answered Mark Anderson.
Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? – When was it founded and what style of music do you play , etc.?
Bestialord is a metal band Wichita, Kansas. We formed the in October 2016. Our style is kind of a hybrid. Our foundation is definitely Doom but there is a good bit of Death and Thrash mixed in as well.
Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering?
We recorded the album at Red Cat Recording Company in Peck, Kansas. Very nice studio and a great environment to work in. Luke Wallace was the engineer on the project and also co-produced.
How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, cassette)?
It is a limited 500 CD pressing, jewel case, vinyl style CD, with a 12 page booklet. It is also available in digital.
Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with?
I wrote the lyrics. The music always comes first, the lyrics usually hit me while I'm watching a movie or reading. H.P. Lovecraft was a major influence on this album. There are also songs inspired by Pinhead from Hellraiser, ultimate revenge, apocalypse, and Ingrid Pitt's portrayal of Mircalla in The Vampire Lovers.
Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important?
The band presented some ideas we had for a logo to a graphic artist we know named Scott Peters and he made some tweaks that lead to the final rendering. Our cover art was done by Erskine Designs. At present we're operating solely from our Facebook page. It's really been an excellent tool in terms of getting our name out there and making contacts.
Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takés care about you?
Satanath Records/Symbol of Domination Prod. and Cimmerian Shade Recordings co-released the album. Satanath Records released a previous project I was involved with and we were very happy with their work. Cimmerian Shade Recordings already had a relationship with them so it just made sense. We’ve been very pleased with them, they’ve been great to work with.
Which bands do you idolise and where do you get your inspiration?
Our main influences would be bands like Black Sabbath, Celtic Frost, Manilla Road, Morbid Angel, Candlemass, Venom, Death, Merciful Fate, etc. Too many to name really. Horror films as well as horror and occult literature are also a huge inspiration.
Did you send your record to some Labels - which are the labels? How was the response?
We had some positive response from other labels but we decided to go with Satanath and Cimmerian Shade pretty early on in the process.
How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?
We haven’t played any gigs yet, hopefully we'll be getting some shows together in the near future. I don’t really have a preference between clubs or festivals, both are equally cool.
What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?
Writing and recording are our top priorities at present. Honestly we've never discussed any specific goals for this band. We just really enjoy working together and making music.
