Někdy se ani nestačíme zastavit a naše vzpomínky se ztratí v divoké bouři. Nakonec ale všechno vypluje na povrch. Svědomí nic nikomu nedaruje. Mysli na to, než budeš stát před posledním soudem. Po někom zbyde spousta krásných odkazů a po jiném jenom krvavá šmouha. Když se dívám na dnešní hektický svět, na jeho rychlost a povrchnost, musím se občas zastavit a naslouchat. Svému tělu, svým myšlenkám. Nejvíc se uklidním v momentech, když poslouchám nahrávky jako je "The Storm Within".
Melodičtí doom death metalisté SATURNUS jsou zpět a již během prvních poslechů zjišťuji, že se vrátili v plné síle. Fanoušci dostanou přestně to, co máme na téhle smečce tolik rádi. Pochmurné, smutné a majestátní melodie. Skladby po okraj narvané emocemi a spoustou zajímavých momentů. Zastav své kroky a nech na chvilku odeznít bouři v tvé hlavě.
Myslím, že netřeba tuhle legendu k někomu přirovnávat, přesto si to nesměle dovolím. Pánové patří hudebně mezi AMORPHIS, EYE OF SOLITUDE, DRACONIAN, OCTOBER TIDE, MY DYING BRIDE, PARADISE LOST, SWALLOW THE SUN, RAPTURE, SHAPE OF DESPAIR. Na nové album jsme čekali velmi dlouho a moje očekávání byla velmi vysoká. Nutno rovnou napsat, že jsem opravdu nadšený. Mám podobně laděné desky, s tradičním, klasickým zvukem (Flemming Rasmussen - Producer, Recording, Mixing, Mastering), velmi rád. Jsou pro mě jistotou, záchytným bodem v dnešním podivném světě. SATURNUS nenechali náhodě vůbec nic. Důkazem budiž i parádní obal, pod kterým je podepsán Mirko Stanchev. Myslím si, že motiv přesně odráží to, co se na albu odehrává. Představte si mlhu na hřbitově, chlad v kostech a neskutečnou bolest, která nelze popsat slovy. Fantazie a hudba, to je jediné, co vám nakonec zůstane. Mraky jsou nízko a ve vzduchu je cítit energie. Nedivím se starým národům, že uctívali živly, že se klaněli přírodě. Beru si album "The Storm Within" velmi často na své toulky v lesích. Poslouchám pozorně. Nahrávka je totiž po okraj narvaná spočinutím, pokorou i velkým talentem. Až zase jednou přijde bouřka, budu stát ve větru a přemýšlet, kam se ztratily vzpomínky. Napadá mě tolik obrazů, tolik představ, které mi při poslechu létají hlavou, že je ani nelze všechny napsat. Poznám podle toho dobrou hudbu. Nenechá mě v klidu, rozdrásá mě do krve, bolí, pálí a žhne. Mlhavé, smutné, pochmurné, majestátní a vznešené ozvěny ze starých dobrých doom death metalových časů!

Think about that before you face the final judgment. Someone will be left with a beautiful legacy and another with a bloody smear. When I look at today's hectic world, its speed and superficiality, I have to stop and listen sometimes. My body, my thoughts. I calm down the most when I listen to records like "The Storm Within".
Melodic doom death metallers SATURNUS are back, and within the first few listens I find that they are back in full force. Fans will get what we love so much about this pack. Gloomy, sad and majestic melodies. Songs packed to the brim with emotion and lots of interesting moments. Stop your footsteps and let the storm in your head subside for a while.
I don't think there is any need to compare this legend to anyone, but I'm still shy to allow it. Musically, the gentlemen belong to AMORPHIS, EYE OF SOLITUDE, DRACONIAN, OCTOBER TIDE, MY DYING BRIDE, PARADISE LOST, SWALLOW THE SUN, RAPTURE, SHAPE OF DESPAIR. We have been waiting for a new album for a very long time and my expectations were very high. I have to write right away that I am really excited. I really like albums like this, with a traditional, classic sound (Flemming Rasmussen - Producer, Recording, Mixing, Mastering). They are a certainty for me, a clue in today's strange world. SATURNUS left nothing to chance. The proof is the awesome cover artwork, signed by Mirko Stanchev. I think the motif accurately reflects what is happening on the album. Imagine the fog in the cemetery, the chill in your bones and the incredible pain that cannot be described in words. Fantasy and music, that's all you're left with in the end. The clouds are low and there's energy in the air. I don't blame the ancient peoples for worshipping the elements, for worshipping nature. I take "The Storm Within" album very often on my wanderings in the woods. I listen carefully. For the record is packed to the brim with rest, humility and great talent. When the storm comes again, I will stand in the wind and wonder where the memories have gone. There are so many images that come to mind, so many images that fly through my head as I listen, that it is impossible to write them all down. I can tell good music by this. It doesn't leave me alone, it tears me to blood, it hurts, it burns and it glows. Misty, sad, sombre, majestic and sublime echoes from the good old doom death metal days!
