Když se podíváte na oblohu přes pavučinu, uvidíte stovky odlesků ze záhrobí. Někdy bývá odchod na druhou stranu vznešený a majestátní. Smrt se zapíše do starých knih a dlouho se o ní vypráví. Většina z nás ale odejte v klidu, během noci, když se na nebi třpytí hvězdy. Zůstane po nás smutek. Tedy, po některých. Po mnohých jenom krvavá stopa. Dost často o tom poslední dobou přemýšlím. Hlavně, když poslouchám novou desku švédských SODOMISERY.

Základem je melodický black metal, zazní ale i death metalové ozvěny. Jako celek potom novinka drží velmi kompaktně pohromadě, opravdu dobře se poslouchá a mám neustálou chuť se k albu vracet. Je totiž slyšet, že je poctivé, opravdové, zahrané od srdce. Ale to vám nemusím stále opakovat, jinou muziku už dávno nepodporuji.

Pokud jste fanoušky třeba takových CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, AMON AMARTH, DARK TRANQUILLITY, mohla by se vám líbit i nová deska "Mazzaroth". Je pravdou, že výše zmíněné kapely už moc neposlouchám, ale SODOMISERY se mi líbí. Skladby mě totiž bolestivě řežou, pálí a žhnou. Připadá mi, že nikde nic nepřebývá, nikde nic nechybí. Představte si sychravý podzim, špinavou řeku a v ní těla utopenců. Stojíte na břehu a nasáváte atmosféru. Vzduchem zní nové album a nálada je velmi pochmurná. Stačí několik prvních tónů a z mlhy se vynoří přízraky. Nic neříkají, přesto jim rozumíte. Tahle deska je o temných emocích, je chladná jako ruka mrtvoly, přesto žhavá a tepající. Líbí se mi obal, sólové kytary, zpěv i rytmus. Vlastně všechno, chcete-li. Přiznám se vám, že k minulé nahrávce jsem měl trošku výhrady, ale tentokrát jsem velmi spokojený. Obzvlášť ve chvílích, když venku prší a dívám se k nebi přes pavučiny. Připomíná mi to černý kaleidoskop. Stejně pestré a zajímavé, jako "Mazzaroth". Někdy bývá odchod na druhou stranu vznešený a majestátní. Jako tahle hudba. Zůstane po nás smutek. Tedy, po některých. Po mnohých jenom krvavá stopa. Stejně to mám se skladbami z tohoto alba. Jsou svým způsobem až podmanivé, magické, záhadné. Jako přízraky, jako smrt, jako svět za oponou. Stačí jen nahlédnout a přidat hlasitost. Ledový, temný melodický black death metal, u kterého vám zmrzne krev v žilách!

For many, only a trail of blood. I've been thinking about that a lot lately. Especially when I'm listening to the new album from Sweden's SODOMISERY.

The basis is melodic black metal, but there are also death metal echoes. As a whole, the new album holds together very compactly, it's really good to listen to and I have a constant desire to come back to the album. You can hear that it is honest, real, played from the heart. But I don't have to keep telling you that, I don't support other music anymore.

If you are a fan of CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, AMON AMARTH, DARK TRANQUILLITY, you might like the new album "Mazzaroth". It's true that I don't listen to the above mentioned bands much anymore, but I like SODOMISERY. Because the songs painfully cut, burn and scorch me. It seems to me that nothing is missing, nothing is missing anywhere. Imagine a brisk autumn, a dirty river and the bodies of drowned people in it. You stand on the bank and soak up the atmosphere. A new album is in the air and the mood is very gloomy. The first few notes are enough and ghosts emerge from the fog. They say nothing, yet you understand them. This record is about dark emotions, it's cold like a dead man's hand, yet hot and throbbing. I like the cover, the guitar solos, the vocals and the rhythm. Everything, if you like. I admit to you that I had some reservations about the last recording, but this time I am very satisfied. Especially when it's raining outside and I'm looking up at the sky through the cobwebs. It reminds me of a black kaleidoscope. Just as colourful and interesting as "Mazzaroth". Sometimes going to the other side is sublime and majestic. Like this music. We're left with sadness. Well, some of them. For many, only a trail of blood. I feel the same way about the songs on this album. They're almost haunting in a way, magical, mysterious. Like ghosts, like death, like the world behind the curtain. Just take a peek and turn up the volume. Icy, dark, melodic black death metal that will freeze your blood in your veins!
