Potkával jsem ho každý den. Vždy se usmíval a působil jako hodný chlap. Pak jsem jej viděl v televizi ve zprávách. Našli u něj ve sklepě několik rozkládajících se těl. Některá ještě trošku žila. Když vstoupil reportér dovnitř, přeběhl mi mráz po zádech. Mučení, zvrácené myšlenky, nekonečná bolest, temnota a chlad. Absolutní ztráta lidskosti. Uběhlo několik měsíců a znovu se objevil na obrazovce. Stále se usmíval. Hnusná bestie. Doufám, že shniješ v pekle, řekl jsem nahlas a chtělo se mi zvracet. Ráno jsem vstal a šel zase do práce. Potkal jsem ho znovu na ulici. Pořád se usmíval. Byl jsem další na řadě.
Některé hororové filmy nikdy nevyženete z hlavy. Autoři jsou natolik zvrácení a umí vytvořit zcela podmanivou atmosféru. Existují kapely, jako britští BLASPHEMER, kteří umí to samé. Letos přicházejí s novým EP, které obsahuje sedm skladeb ostrých jako hřeby, které vám kapela zatluče do hlavy.
Britové jsou stálými členy klasického death metalového podsvětí. Hrají nekompromisně, divoce, živočišně a tradičně. Jejich tvorbu lze přirovnat k tomu, co tvoří a tvořily kapely typu PESTILENCE, OBITUARY, AUTOPSY, BOLT THROWER. I letos se jedná o songy, které vás doslova přikovají na zeď. Během poslechu sestoupíte do starého, plesnivého sklepení. Z kobek se bude ozývat nářek uvězněných. Na hlavním sále uvidíte pitevní stůl a spoustu mučících nástrojů. Také cítíte ten chlad a bolest? S novým EP "Marked for Death" je to podobné. Dostane se vám do hlavy i do podvědomí. Stane se vaší součástí a nakonec vás pohřbí zaživa. Kývám se do rytmu a užívám si mocný a krutý zvuk, s chutí se dívám na obal. Letos se opět povedlo úplně vše. Na tuhle smečku je zkrátka spolehnutí. Hrají postaru, upřímně, od srdce, přesně jak to mám rád. Představte si starý, rezavý buldozer, o kterém jste si mysleli, že již nikdy nevyjede. Opak je pravdou. Stále umí ukázat svojí sílu. Zemřete v krutých křečích, rozdrceni na krvavou kaši. A hrát vám u toho budou BLASPHEMER. Mrzí mě snad jenom jedna věc. Ještě jsem neviděl kapelu na nějakém koncertě. Ale dovedu si představit, že to musí být masakr. Pokud jste tedy fanoušci starých hororů na VHS a uctíváte stále poctivou a surovou muziku, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Potkával jsem ho každý den. I used to meet him every day. He was always smiling and seemed like a nice guy. Then I saw him on TV on the news. They found several decomposing bodies in his basement. Some of them were still a little alive. When the reporter walked in, I got a chill down my spine. Torture, twisted thoughts, endless pain, darkness and cold. A total loss of humanity. Several months passed and he reappeared on the screen. He was still smiling. The ugly beast. I hope you rot in hell, I said out loud, and I wanted to vomit. I got up in the morning and went back to work. I met him again on the street. He was still smiling. I was next in line.
Some horror movies you never get out of your head. The writers are so twisted and they can create a completely captivating atmosphere. There are bands like the British BLASPHEMER who can do the same thing. This year, they're coming out with a new EP that features seven tracks of razor-sharp songs that the band will hammer into your head.
The Brits are permanent members of the classic death metal underworld. They play uncompromisingly, fiercely, animalistic and traditional. Their work can be compared to that of bands like PESTILENCE, OBITUARY, AUTOPSY, BOLT THROWER. Again, these are songs that will literally drive you up the wall. You will descend into an old, moldy basement while listening. From the dungeons will come the cries of the trapped. In the main hall you will see an autopsy table and a lot of torture instruments. Do you feel the cold and pain too? With the new EP "Marked for Death" it's similar. It gets into your head and your subconscious. It becomes a part of you and eventually buries you alive. I sway to the rhythm and enjoy the powerful and cruel sound, looking at the cover with relish. Once again this year, everything has gone right. This is a pack you can count on. They play old-fashioned, honest, from the heart, just the way I like it. Imagine an old, rusty bulldozer that you thought would never run again. The opposite is true. It can still show its strength. You will die in violent convulsions, crushed to a bloody pulp. And BLASPHEMER will be playing. There's only one thing I'm sorry about. I've never seen the band in concert before. But I imagine it must be a massacre. So if you're a fan of old VHS horror movies and still worship honest and raw music, don't hesitate a moment. I used to run into him every day.
