Mysleli si, že mě potrestají, když mě zavřou na několik nocí do staré márnice. Jenže mě je v temnotě a mezi mrtvými těly dobře. Mám svůj klid a můžu poslouchat desky, které ocením já, i všichni nemrtví. ETERNAL jsou z Arizony a hrají hudbu, u které praskají lebky. Stačilo mi několik společných setkání s novým albem "Cryptic Lust", abych přešel na druhou stranu, do záhrobí. Ulehnul jsem do své oblíbené rakve a čekal, až bude absolutní tma. Teprve potom jsem si novou desku vychutnal nejvíce.

Pánové a dáma se inspirovali u starodávných kapel z devadesátých let minulého století. V době, kdy se mísil smrtící kov s thrash metalem. Kapela si vybrousila svůj vlastní styl, který vám přeláme všechny kosti v těle. Je to samozřejmě old school, poctivá a divoká muzika, která se hrávala na starých pohřebištích.

Máte rádi staré smečky jako OBITUARY, DEATH, ale i třeba DISSECTION? Uctíváte POSSESSED, MALEVOLENT CREATION, VITAL REMAINS? Líbí se vám, když z riffů odkapává zkažená krev a obejme vás absolutní tma? Potom se pohodlně usaďte (nejlépe do sklepa) a otočte volume pořádně doprava. Když to vezmu kolem a kolem, tak jsem spokojený vlastně se vším. Formální věci, jako prašivý zvuk, morbidní obal (Dedy Badic Art), jsou v absolutním pořádku. Vy si tak můžete vychutnat syrové kousky masa, nasekané nahrubo, jako riffy z téhle desky. Jsem pokaždé hrozně rád, když se setmí a zavřu za sebou rezavé dveře. Čeká mě už jenom utrpení, bolest a poslední soud. Skladby jsou napsány tak, aby vás převedly přes řeku Styx. Jsou surové, mrazivé, budete se po kolena bořit do močálů, budete stahováni stále hlouběji, až se nakonec utopíte a stane se z vás postupně jenom nafouklá mrtvola. Tohle je rituál, jak vystřižený ze starých dobrých časů. Ostré riffy, chorobný vokál, zničující bicí. V jednotlivých skladbách je navíc nakumulované velké množství energie, tlaku, který mě neustále nutí se k nahrávce vracet. Poslední roky už nepotřebuji jíst, ani pít. Krmím se jenom podobnými deskami a zkaženou krví. Až půjdete kolem našeho hřbitova, klidně se stavte na kus řeči. Naleji vám něco dobrého, a pustím pořádně nahlas "Cryptic Lust". Zatančíme si s nemrtvými, exhumujeme pár starých hrobů. Myslím si, že není nutné dodávat nic dalšího. Zde se hraje pro všechny pravověrné fanoušky nekonečných stínů. Mysleli si, že mě potrestají, když mě zavřou na několik nocí do staré márnice. Jenže mě je v temnotě a mezi mrtvými těly dobře. Mám svůj klid a můžu poslouchat hudbu, kterou ocením já, i všichni nemrtví. Hnilobná, temná odpověď na ozvěny ze záhrobí! Death thrash metal, u kterého ucítíte blízkou přítomnost smrti!

It only took a few encounters with the new album "Cryptic Lust" to bring me to the other side, to the beyond. I laid down in my favorite coffin and waited for absolute darkness. Only then did I enjoy the new album the most.

Gentlemen and Lady took inspiration from the old-time bands of the 1990s. A time when death metal was mixed with thrash metal. The band has honed their own style that will break every bone in your body. It is of course old school, honest and fierce music that was played in old burial grounds.

Do you like old bands like OBITUARY, DEATH, but also DISSECTION? Do you worship POSSESSED, MALEVOLENT CREATION, VITAL REMAINS? Do you like when the riffs drip with bad blood and embrace absolute darkness? Then sit back (preferably in the basement) and turn the volume hard right. All things considered, I'm happy with pretty much everything. Formal things like the dusty sound, the morbid cover art (Dedy Badic Art) are absolutely fine. You get to enjoy raw chunks of meat, chopped up rough, like the riffs on this record. I'm always so glad when it gets dark and I close the rusty door behind me. All that's left for me is suffering, pain and the last judgment. The songs are written to take you across the river Styx. They're raw, chilling, you'll sink knee-deep into the swamps, you'll be pulled deeper and deeper until you eventually drown and become a bloated corpse. This is a ritual straight out of the good old days. Sharp riffs, sick vocals, devastating drums. Moreover, there is a lot of energy and pressure accumulated in each track, which makes me keep coming back to the record. I don't need to eat or drink these days. I feed only on similar records and spoiled blood. When you pass by our cemetery, feel free to drop by for a chat. I'll pour you something good, and I'll play "Cryptic Lust" really loud . We'll dance with the undead, exhume some old graves. I don't think I need to add anything else. This is a game for all true fans of infinite shadows. I have my peace and I can listen to music that I, and all the undead, can appreciate. A rotten, dark answer to the echoes from beyond the grave! Death thrash metal that makes you feel the near presence of death!
