Venku se setmělo a začalo pršet. Blesky létaly nebem jako zlá pomsta. Bohové se zlobí, říkali staří pamětníci. Nechtělo se mi, ale stejně jsem musel vyrazit. Otevřu dveře a ulice jsou prázdné. Pomalu vylezu na kopec za městem a můj cíl je již mnoho let stejný. Hřbitov působí tiše a opuštěně. Jenže zdání klame. Uvnitř starého chrámu sedí zlí démoni a působí nedočkavě. Už jsem se nemohl dívat na utrpení obětí, tak jsem přišel sám. Padám pomalu k zemi a usmívám se. Konečně jsem na druhé straně a poslouchám novou desku řeckých KAWIR.

Pokud se o tenhle styl zajímáte, tak tuhle smečku určitě znáte. Její historie sahá až do roku 1993 a je doslova protkaná skvělými nahrávkami. Již dopředu vám mohu prozradit, že nové album "Kydoimos" lze již teď zařadit mezi ně. Chladné black metalové melodie jsou zde kombinovány s řeckou mytologií. Pokloňte se démonům!

Na smrt je nakonec člověk vždycky sám. Vím to já, ví to i staří řečtí bohové. Kdysi dávno, když jsem byl ještě hodně mladý, tak jsem si tyhle příběhy rád a často četl. Když jsem potom navštívil místa, kde se odehrávaly, vše se mi spojilo v jedno. Doporučuji otevřít knihu, přečíst si Ilias a Kydoimos a jako "kulisu" si pustit tuhle desku. Jsou to staré báje, mýty i legendy, ve kterých naleznete spoustu zajímavých momentů. Stejně jako v hudbě, kterou nám letos KAWIR předkládají. Líbí se mi, že se kapela nijak nepodbízí, že si jde svoji vlastní cestou. Je originální, má jasný a zřetelný rukopis. To vše je podpořeno mrazivým zvukem a zajímavým obalem. Fanoušek dostane všechno, co má na téhle kapele rád. Temné, záhadné melodie, jedovaté stíny. Společná setkání s albem "Kydoimos" mi připomínají návštěvu starodávných chrámů. Nahrávka je majestátní, zahalená tajemstvím. Připadám si jako archeolog, který pomalu rozkrývá jednotlivé vrstvy. S hudbou těchto řeckých mágů je to velmi podobné. Je nutné nechat ji na sebe působit po delší čas. Teprve po nějaké době vynikne její síla, jednotlivé nuance. Od posluchače je vyžadováno plné soustředění. Teprve potom bude odměněn. Z jednotlivých motivů je cítit odkaz slavného Achilla. Budete rozmlouvat s démonem Kydoimos, synem Eris, bohyní sváru. Načerpáte spoustu temné energie, abyste mohli přežít i v dnešním divném světě. I open the door and the streets are empty. Slowly I climb the hill outside of town and my destination has been the same for many years. The cemetery looks quiet and deserted. But appearances are deceiving. Inside the old temple, evil demons sit, looking eager. I could no longer watch the victims suffer, so I came alone. I fall slowly to the ground and smile. If you're into this style, you'll know this pack. Their history goes back to 1993 and is literally riddled with great records. In the end, one is always alone in death. I know it, the old Greek gods know it. Once upon a time, when I was very young, I liked to read these stories often. Then when I visited the places where they were set, it all came together for me. I recommend opening the book, reading Ilias and Kydoimos, and putting this record on as a "backdrop". It's old myths, myths and legends and there are many interesting moments in it. As well as in the music that KAWIR presents us this year. I like the fact that the band doesn't pander, that it goes its own way. It is original, it has a clear and distinct signature. All this is supported by a chilling sound and interesting cover art. The record is majestic, shrouded in mystery. I feel like an archaeologist slowly uncovering the layers. It is very similar with the music of these Greek magicians. It is necessary to let it affect you for a long time. Only after some time will its power, its individual nuances emerge. Full concentration is required of the listener. Only then will he be rewarded. The legacy of the famous Achilles can be felt in the individual motifs. You'll be talking to the demon Kydoimos, son of Eris, goddess of strife. You will draw on a lot of dark energy to survive in today's strange world. The novelty is sophisticated, colourful, urgent. It's shrouded in mystery for me. It's dark outside and it's starting to rain. Lightning flew across the sky like evil vengeance. The gods are angry, the ancients said. Inside the old temple, the evil demons sit and look impatient. Melodic black metal that will take you on a mysterious trip into old Greek myths, legends and dark stories!
