A few questions - interview with death metal band from USA - UNDEATH.

Ave, can you introduce your band to our readers? When was it founded and what style of music do you play etc.? 

What’s up? We’re Undeath from Rochester, New York, USA and we play skull crushing death metal. We formed in late 2018. 

Where and under what conditions were you recording the new album? Who was in charge of sound, production and mastering? 

We recorded “Lesions of a Different Kind” in January/February 2020 at the Headroom studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Scoops Dardaris oversaw the production and Ben Cultrara oversaw the mastering. 

 

How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition (CD, digital, vinyl, cassette)? 

The album has been released on vinyl, cassette, CD and digitally. Prosthetic handled the release of everything but the cassettes, which were released by Maggot Stomp. 

Who is the author of the lyrics and how were they created and about what do the lyrics deal with? 

Our guitarist Kyle Beam wrote all of the lyrics. They deal with sick death metal shit like corpses and guts and killing people with swords and axes. 

Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the website? What about you and social networks? Do you consider these things important? 

Our drummer Matt designed our logo for us and he also designed our cover art. We’re on all sorts of social media like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter - we’re pretty easy to find. I do consider these things important, especially now that we can’t tour or play shows due to COVID. It’s basically the only way we get to interact with our fans. 


Which label did you choose for releasing your album and why this label? Are you satisfied by how your label represents you and takés care about you? 

Prosthetic Records released our album on vinyl, CD and digitally and Maggot Stomp released it on cassette. We chose both labels because they have great track records and so great work, and we’re very satisfied with how they’ve taken care of us. 

Which bands do you idolise and where do you get your inspiration? 

I don’t know if we idolize anyone, but we certainly take lots of inspiration from bands like Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Bolt Thrower and Cryptopsy. 

Did you send your record to some Labels - which are the labels? How was the response? 

We were picked up by Prosthetic and Maggot Stomp very quickly, so we didn’t really get the opportunity to send it anywhere else! 


How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it's (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best? 

We haven’t played that many shows to date - maybe a dozen or so. We had a lot of shows planned for 2020 but obviously those have all been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. I think all of us prefer a more intimate, club gig as compared to a festival type environment, but we’ve never played any festivals so that could definitely change! 

I would consider the show that we played in Columbus, OH as our best one to date. We sounded great, the crowd’s energy was on point and it was generally just a really great time. 

What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band? 

Touring as much as possible as soon as it’s safe to do so, and to keep releasing music for people to bang their heads to!

Příběh dvoustý sedmdesátý čtvrtý - Jak mě zase jednou neměl nikdo rád

Babička mi vždycky brala hlavu do dlaní a štípala mě do tváří. Já jsem to hrozně nesnášel, ale pak říkávala něco o tom, že budu na ženský. Že mám dolíček v bradě. Dělal jsem, že se stydím, ale holčičky se mi líbily už ve školce. Někdy sice moc řvaly a přemejšlely úplně jinak než já, ale bylo mi s nima fajn. Kluci se červenali a předváděli a já byl klidný. Kolem mě bylo spousta tetiček, babiček, který jsem miloval. Každá moje milá byla jiná. Zažil jsem klidnou sílu, dobrou vílu, chodil jsem s děvčaty, která se ze začátku ostýchala nebo byla jako uragán. Třeba zatím má poslední, u které ještě trošku žiju. Andrea, její druhé jméno je Divoká. Byla taková v posteli, ale i jinak. Horká hlava, teď jsem to měl poznat.

Už jsem si tisíckrát říkal, že se dám radši na muziku. Ženský prokletý mi ale nedaly spát. Teď zrovna Markétka. Temný sluníčko. Minulý týden jsem ji potkal na metalu v Hradišti. Připadalo nám, že se známe odjakživa. Jedno tělo, jedna duše. No tělo, ještě mi nedala. Byl jsem z toho nervózní. Měla by, ne neměla, chodím přeci s Andreou. Ještě si moc dobře pamatuju, jak jsem se na jaře rozešel k Kristýnkou, jak to ji i mě bolelo, jak se s tím nikdy nevyrovnala. A teď budu ubližovat další? Proč? Možná jsem zase nepřemýšlel hlavou. Taky jsem chtěl zdrhnout. Od všeho pryč. Jako vždycky. Proč se stavět problémům čelem, když je lepší utéct? Máma s otcem, to byla kapitola, co mě hodně moc bolela. Už jsem byl dospělej, ale když jsem přišel na návštěvu, tak jsem pokaždé odcházel a měl jsem na krajíčku. Fakt že jo. Rodiče by se neměli rozvádět. Prostě ne. 

Mezi naschválama a problémama jsem se proplétal teď vlastně pořád. Když už si Jana s Prcalinkou i všichni mí kamarádi zvykli na Andreou, která byla metal jen na půl, tak si měli zvykat na někoho jinýho? Včera jsem už nevěděl, kudy kam, tak jsem se ožral. Šel jsem z baru rovnou do práce a usnul na záchodech. Padla mi ve dvě a za půl hodiny už jsem zase seděl ve Startu a vedl chytrý řeči. Měl jsem v sobě pět piv, když teprve přišli ostatní. Musel na mě být smutný pohled, protože Jana vzala do rukou moji hlavu úplně stejným způsobem, jako to dělávala babička a promlouvala mi do duše. Asi jsem měl fakt chodit s ní, dala by mě možná do kupy. Vždyť si máme co říct, je to krásná holka, všichni kluci jsme ji milovali. Možná jsem to tenkrát měl udělat. Jít do Jany. Měla mě ráda a třeba by časem přišlo i něco navíc. Kdo ví? Možná bych byl doteď v Boleslavi. Jenže to já ne. Stačily dva rumy a vypařil jsem se.

Jako bych měl v hlavě (nebo v rozkroku) kompas. Pořád mě to táhlo na Starý město. K jednomu oprýskanýmu baráku. Jakože půjdu náhodou kolem a potkám ji. Mě na Markétce hrozně fascinovaly její oči. Tmavý, hnědý, podobný jako měla Kačenka. Moc takových dívek se nerodí. Myslím, že jsem jí nebyl lhostejný. Byla široko daleko jedinou osobou, se kterou jsem se cítil v klidu. Žádný pojď na to, žádnej sex v podchodu. Normální chození, oťukávání. Měla zatím jen jednoho kluka. Proto taky poslouchá black metal. On byl ale divnej, v nekonečných depresích. Rozešli se, dělal jí problémy, takovej obyčejnej příběh. Prdelko moje, pojď ke mně. Byl jsem najednou romantickej, zase jsem chtěl psát básně. Od Andrey jsem kvůli tomu dostal několikrát přes pusu. Itálie hadr. Dělala mi scény doma, na ulici, v hospodě, ptala se proč, pak zase prosila, plakala a nakonec jsme skončili v posteli. Kdybyste věděli, jak já se cítil nečistej. Nešlo to vydržet.

S Andreou se nedalo domluvit v klidu a proto jsem se musel odstěhovat k Janě. Měla teď byt kousek od kolejí. Ale prskala. Všichni prskali. Připadal jsem si jak malej kluk, co ho chytli při šmírování na koupališti. Ještě vytahat za uši. Nevěděl jsem co říct, byl jsem v nemilosti. Nikdy jsem nechtěl nikomu vědomě ubližovat. Tyhle věci se asi nedají řešit úplně v klidu. Proto jsem si brával ještě častěji sluchátka na uši a objevoval další a další kapely. A abych se dostal víc do přízně Markéty, tak byl na pořadu dne hodně severskej black. Sabath měl shodou okolní také podobné období, tak jsem měl i spoustu informací. Trvalo mi 14 dní, než jsem svoji novou vílu přesvědčil do postele. Bylo to s ní úplně jiný. Jemnější, procítěnější. Nebyla tak dravá, spíše přijímala, bylo to zase jako hrát na hudební nástroj. Mám rád obliny, rád je hladím a ona se napoprvé trošku styděla. Bože ty oči, utopil bych se v nich, vlastně jo, už se topím. Hráli nám k tomu NECROPHOBIC. 

Co chceš jako dělat? To budeš pořád jen střídat holky a chodit do hospody? Co nějakej normální život, co? Podívej se na sebe. Tvý spolužáci chodí hezky oblíkaný, mají rodiny, děti. Podnikají (to tenkrát bylo doslova zaklínadlo). Ožiješ akorát, když je někde nějakej koncert. V práci se taky neposouváš. Seděl jsem a nevěděl, co na to říct. Už mi dneska mluvila do duše máma, Jana, Prcalinka, Tomáš. Andrea taky, ale ta k tomu měla ještě hysterický vystoupení. Asi bych nad sebou taky zlomil hůl, ale já se měl pořád rád. Něco jsem hledal, jen jsem nevěděl co? Je to klid, duševní rovnováha nebo kaštánkový oči, který jsem od Kačenky u nikoho neviděl? Snažil jsem se všechno převést ve srandu, zlehčit, co je na tom špatnýho, že se nechci ještě usadit? Copak musíme být všichni stejní, zařadit se? Dal jsem mámě pusu, holkám taky, Tomášovi jsem jen podal ruku a zmizel jsem. Na Starý město, mezi oprýskané baráky, k dívce, která zase vrněla jako kočka. Ona ta bábinka asi fakt měla pravdu. Přemýšlel jsem nad tím, když jsme se tulili v peřinách. Tady byl klid a pohoda. Ženský jsou asi fakt mým krásným prokletím. Vůbec mi najednou nevadilo, že mě za to asi nemá nikdo moc rád.

Spousta z nás je zavřeno ve svých domovech. O samotě, jen se se svědomím. Každého, kdo má alespoň nějakou fantazii, podobný stav donutí k zamyšlení. Je jedno, jestli si v cele nebo uprostřed davu, někdy se zkrátka cítíš sám. Musím do lesů, do přírody, na malý vesnický hřbitov, kolem kterého normálně procházím bez povšimnutí. Jenže teď poslouchám nové EP doomařů MY DYING BRIDE. Moje kroky mají trošku jiný směr.

Chtít po podobných legendách nějaké stylové kotrmelce je neslušné. Byla by škoda, kdyby změnili to, co na nich máme tolik rádi.  Na novinku lze nahlížet jako na pokračování věcí minulých, na klasickou desku, ale to já příliš nedokážu. Britové to se mnou umí už od devadesátých let. Měli sice občas pochopitelně slabší období, ale "Macabre Cabaret" k nim rozhodně nepatří.

O čem je pravý smutek a city mu podobné zase tolik lidí neví. Musíte si je, stejně jako muziku, prožít, projít si mezi temnými studenými stíny. Venku je mlha, mráz proniká do kostí. Ideální počasí pro poslech. Město ještě spí. Tiché a prázdné. Pár světel v oknech, občas štěkající pes. "Macabre Cabaret" je deskou, kterou musím poslouchat venku. Stát se chodcem v pozadí, tichošlápkem, který nehodnotí, ale jen naslouchá. Zvláštní je, že já doom metal neumím pořádně popsat slovy, podle mého to ani moc nejde. Existují jen dvě polohy, buď si vás podmaní a nebo ne. Miluju zvuk violoncella, mám rád bědování a pláč, které z MY DYING BRIDE stále slyším. Dodnes mě na nich fascinuje schopnost vytvořit hudbou absolutně temnou a mrazivou atmosféru. Smutek a nářek. Každý si představuje pohřeb, ale já myslím spíš na usínající přírodu, na barvy podzimu, na zvířata hledající svůj úkryt. Uprostřed lesů se mi společná setkání osvědčila nejvíce. Sice jsem tu také sám, ale není tu rušivý dav, blikající světla, ani zástupy falešných tváří. Vše je, stejně jako "Macabre Cabaret", ohlodáno na kost, ryzí a opravdové. Je stavem duše, rozpoložením a jako takové jej je nutné brát. Až mi bude zase jednou smutno, tak vím, co si pustím.

You sit in the wooden benches. It is Sunday morning and you should meet God today. You doubt, you have been in doubt for a while. The ordinary life has vanished from churches a long time ago. There is only mentoring and tons of empty words left. You are praying to a dead who has nothing in common with its souls. In a last few days you have been meeting many evil people. The only thing left is hope and music. 

I like the noble mood of cathedrals, I soak the atmosphere of abandoned temples with joy. Thousands of fates printed in stone walls. The faces of the saints and above, where the pipe organ is, is sitting the band MY DYING BRIDE. Yes, for me their music is connected with a visit of a church. I listen to their new album "Macabre Cabaret" and I am thinking about what faith really is.

The songs are literally soaked up with the atmosphere of gothic buildings and sadness. Right in front of me I can see a small graveyard in the mountains. Everybody knows each other and every funeral is an event and a personal experience. Here, the faith is pure, unspoilt and raw. I like the sound, cold and hurtful at the same time, I admire the painting on the cover. I am walking through abandoned cathedrals with the band. Again and again I am coming back to catacombs, to wake up and continue to spread the glory of the doom and death metal. The new album absorbed me completely, it calmed down my mind and directed me to another world. I am looking towards the sky and I am waiting! A beautiful musical experience, full of nobleness.

Z močálů se zase ozývaly podivné skřeky. Říkalo se, že kdo do nich vstoupí, nevrátí se nikdy zpátky. Mladí podobné zkazky považovali za pověsti s nejasným původem, ale do reality je vrátila první vražda. Dívka s rozsápaným břichem. Děs v očích a bledá tvář, která musela zažít něco hrozného. Mezi lidmi panoval neklid a každý se najednou zase ohlížel za sebe. Kdy tohle skončí? Temné přízraky se začaly toulat už i ulicemi. Jakou podobu má vlastně smrt? Ptám se stále častěji a přemýšlím, kdy přijdu na řadu.

LIE IN RUINS jsou pro mě kapelou, která mi na podobné otázky dává odpovědi. Death metalem, který mi koluje již dlouhé roky v krvi. Odkazem starých předků, pohřebištěm, kam se pohřbívají oběti násilných činů. Opravdovým hororovým filmem, který vás připoutá k obrazovce a začnete mu po nějaké době pevně věřit. Přízraky jsou mezi námi, LIE IN RUINS jsou toho jasným důkazem. 


Finský death metalový underground vydal další svědectví a nekonečných močálech, o bolesti, démonech a temnotě. LIE IN RUINS patří do čeledi kapel jako CRUCIAMENTUM, GRAVE MIASMA, DEAD CONGREGATION, LANTERN, SPECTRAL VOICE, DEIQUISITOR. Jsou smečkou, které nejen, že jí odkapává krev od huby, ale také dokáže složit hudbu, která probouzí staré děsivé démony. Jakoby se do skladeb opravdu otiskla nálada mlhavých močálů. Rozkládající se těla, oční důlky bez očí, vyplazený jazyk. Nekonečný smrad shnilého masa. A nad tím vším se vznáší jako nějaké obžaloba "Floating In Timeless Streams". Songy jsou někdy hrubé a surové, jindy chladné, ale hlavně neskutečně temné. Riffy se mi zadírají pod kůži, jsou dlouho neléčenou mokvající ránou, která se zanítí. Bolí, tepou, žhnou a bublají jako zkažená krev pod povrchem. LIE IN RUINS nás opět vzali na dlouhou cestu bez konce. Kolem se povalují zohavená těla a vzpomínky na pravý ryzí death metal. Finové jsou prašiví, jejich nová deska je tělem ve značném stádiu rozkladu. Novinka se opravdu povedla, ihned se letos umístila na předních místech v mé soukromé diskografii. Už zase slyším z močálů divné skřeky. Vynikající pocta démonům temnoty!

Strange screams came from the swamps again. It was said that whoever entered them would never return. The young considered such orders to be rumors of unclear origin, but the first murder brought them back to reality. Girl with a torn belly. Terror in her eyes and a pale face that must have experienced something terrible. People have been restless, and everyone suddenly looked back at each other. When will this end? Dark ghosts began to wander the streets. What does death actually look like? I ask more and more often and I wonder when it's my turn.

LIE IN RUINS are a band that gives me answers to similar questions. Death metal, which has been circulating in my blood for many years. The legacy of old ancestors, the burial ground where the victims of violent acts are buried. A real horror film that will tie you to the screen and you will start to trust it firmly after a while. The ghosts are among us, LIE IN RUINS are clear proof of that.



The Finnish death metal underground has given further testimony and endless swamps, about pain, demons and darkness. LIE IN RUINS belongs to the family of bands such as CRUCIAMENTUM, GRAVE MIASMA, DEAD CONGREGATION, LANTERN, SPECTRAL VOICE, DEIQUISITOR. They are a band that not only drips blood from its mouth, but also can compose music that awakens old scary demons. It was as if the mood of misty swamps really imprinted to the songs. Decaying bodies, eye sockets without eyes, tongue out. An endless stench of rotten meat. And above all, "Floating In Timeless Streams" hovers like an indictment. The songs are sometimes rough and raw, sometimes cold, but most of all incredibly dark. Riffs get under my skin, they are a long-untreated wet wound that becomes inflamed. They hurt, beat, glow and bubble like rotten blood beneath the surface. LIE IN RUINS took us on a long journey without end. The mutilated bodies and memories of real pure death metal around. The Finns are dusty, their new album is a body in a considerable stage of decomposition. The new album was is really good, it immediately took a place in the forefront of my private discography this year. I hear strange screams from the swamps again. An excellent tribute to the demons of darkness!

Recenze/review - CONVULSE - Deathstar (2020)

Muzika je pro mě někdy jako procházka zrcadlovým labyrintem. Jsem sice spíše posluchačem, který tráví většinu času ve starých opuštěných katakombách, kde se potkávám převážně s konzervativními kapelami, ale občas se kouknu na svůj obraz v zrcadle a vyrazím ven ze své ulity. Mám najednou chuť objevovat, nasávat atmosféru, popustit uzdu své fantazii. A právě v podobný moment jsem potkal novou desku finské legendy CONVULSE. Již první setkání bylo jako průlet nad mraky. Osvěžující, zajímavé, pestré. 

Spousta nestálých fanoušků Finy dávno odepsalo. Chybí jim starý způsob hraní, ocenili by raději retro. Možná bych sám patřil mezi ně, jenže já mám bujnou fantazii. Byl jsem najednou v labyrintu plném zakřivených skel a poslouchal "Deathstar". Zažil jsem tam, stejně jako s deskou, spoustu zajímavých zážitků. 


CONVULSE si dali i letos na nahrávce velmi záležet. Krásně čitelný zvuk je samozřejmostí, obal je doslova uhrančivý a krásně doplňuje hudbu. Ta je postavená sice na pevných death metalových základech, ale jinak jsou Finové velmi nespoutaní. Nebojí se vydat do stejných vod jako třeba AMORPHIS. Užijeme si spolu s kapelou ozvěny podobné těm od PINK FLOYD, RUSH, PORCUPINE TREE, ale klidně i klasiku jako od JUDAS PRIEST. "Deathstar" je pro mě albem, které je nejlepší opravdu poslouchat v zrcadlovém labyrintu. Ostře řezaná sóla vás nasměřují do zcela neprobádaných oblastí. A když už budete mít pocit, že opravdu létáte, srazí vás na zem hrubý hlas. Podobným způsobem skládají hudbu jazzmani a v podání CONVULSE je velmi přitažlivá. Jsem starý pes, kterého nechává většina takovýchto pokusů v klidu (většinou se jedná jen o kopie, bez jakéhokoliv chvění a nápadů), ale finská legenda ke mě mluví jasnou a srozumitelnou řečí. Kapela je sice progresivní, ale pořád si zachovává jasný řád a tím pádem se deska opravdu skvěle poslouchá. Jen nesmíte být zakopání ve starých hrobech. Líbí se mi těkavé, neklidné nálady, mám chuť utíkat, je to jako když vyběhnete nad město a nasáváte z plných plic čerstvý vzduch. "Deathstar" je přemýšlivou, inteligentní záležitostí, je definicí chladu, temnoty a zvláštního druhu smutku, který ze skladeb také cítím. Zrcadla jsou rozbita, ruce rudé od krve, zůstává jen skvělá muzika!

For me, music is sometimes like a walk through a mirror labyrinth. Although I'm more of a listener who spends most of my time in old abandoned catacombs, where I meet mostly conservative bands, sometimes I look at my picture in the mirror and go out of my shell. Suddenly I feel like discovering, soaking up the atmosphere, letting my imagination run wild. And just at a similar moment I met a new record of the Finnish legend CONVULSE. The first meeting was like flying over clouds. Refreshing, interesting, colorful. 

A lot of unstable fans cut off this band a long time ago. They miss their old way, they would rather retro. I might be one of them myself, but I have a wild imagination. I was suddenly in a labyrinth full of curved glass listening to "Deathstar". I experienced a lot of interesting experiences there, as well as with the record.


CONVULSE put a lot of attention to the recording this year. Beautifully readable sound is something what cant be missed here, the cover is literally enchanting and beautifully fit with the music. It is built on solid death metal foundations, but otherwise the Finns are much unfettered. They are not afraid to go to the same waters as, for example, AMORPHIS. Together with the band, we will enjoy echoes similar to those from PINK FLOYD, RUSH, PORCUPINE TREE, but also classics as from JUDAS PRIEST. "Deathstar" is for me an album that is best to really listen to in a mirror maze. Sharply cut solos will direct you to completely unexplored areas. And when you feel like you're really flying, a rough voice knocks you to the ground. Jazz music is composed in a similar way and is very attractive in the CONVULSE performance. I am an old dog who cares about most of this kind of attempts (usually only copies, without any tremors and ideas), but the Finnish legend speaks to me in clear and understandable language. The band is progressive, but they still keep a clear order and therefore the record is very well listenable. You just can't be buried in old graves. I like volatile, restless moods, I feel like running away, it's like running over the city and sucking in fresh air from your lungs. "Deathstar" is a thoughtful, intelligent matter, it is a definition of cold, darkness and a special kind of sadness that I also feel from the songs. The mirrors are broken, hands are red with blood, only great music remains!

Zdál se mi nedávno děsivý sen. Stál jsem uprostřed zuřivého davu, který za něco bojoval. Smysl jsem nechápal, ale fascinovala mě nenávist, která se vznášela kolem mě. Skandování, nevím, kdo první vytáhl nůž. Rabování, znásilnění, několik lidí bylo ušlapáno. Mladí, kteří zatím žili jen virtuálně, poprvé ucítili pravý pach krve. Všechno to připomínalo apokalypsu jako ze starých sci-fi knížek. Probudil jsem se a došlo mi, že je to vlastně pravda. Svět kolem hoří a nám to ještě nedochází.

Dostala se mi do rukou prvotina amerických death thrasherů LUNA IN SANGUINEM. Pustil jsem si první song a znovu byl uprostřed zuřícího davu. Atmosféra desky je totiž velmi podobná. Klasické, syrové a surové postupy, nálada plná násilí a krve. Jakoby se právě probudila dosud neznámá bestie a roztrhala mě na kusy. 

 

"Global Bloodbath" se pro mě stalo na delší dobu průvodcem při mých toulkách městem. Byl jsem překvapený nebo jsem to možná dávno tušil, kolik lidí má v sobě zlost. Nenávistné pohledy, neklid, nespokojenost, frustrace. Stačí rozbuška a dav zase vyjde do ulic. Tohle je reálný, perfektně zahraný death a thrash metal starého střihu. Bez příkras, zbytečností. Popraskají vám u něj všechny kosti v těle, vezmete do rukou kovovou tyč a půjdete do opuštěného domu rozmlátit zeď. Líbí se mi tlak a  energie, které z desky cítím. Rád se dívám i na obal. Hraje se zde hezky postaru, stylem, jako třeba takoví OBITUARY, ASPHYX, AUTOPSY, SLAYER. "Global Bloodbath" ale není jenom dobrým řemeslem, má v sobě navíc takové to poctivé, temné chvění, které kdysi kapely mívaly. Já zkrátka LUNA IN SANGUINEM jejich hudbu opravdu věřím. Dodává mi energii, drásá mě a pálí, žhne a je pro mě záležitostí, ke které se velmi rád vracím. Svět se kolem možná zbláznil, ale tady je vše v nejlepším pořádku. Jsem rád, že ještě pořád existují podobné kapely, které umí zahrát ostře, surově a dokáží mě svojí hudbou přikovat na zeď. Album je jako třaskavá směs, připravená k odpálení. Death thrash metal, který vám vyrve srdce z těla! Skvěle!

I had a scary dream lately. I stood in the middle of a furious crowd fighting for something. I didn't understand the meaning, but I was fascinated by the hatred that hovered around me. Chanting, I don't know who pulled the knife first. Robbery, rape, several people were trampled on. For the first time, young people who had only lived virtually felt the true smell of blood. It all resembled an apocalypse like old sci-fi books. I woke up and realized it was true. The world around is burning and we still don't get it. 

I got my hands on the first American death thrasher LUNA IN SANGUIN. I played the first song and was in the middle of a raging crowd again. The atmosphere of the album is very similar. Classic, raw and raw procedures, a mood full of violence and blood. It was as if a hitherto unknown beast had just awakened and torn me to pieces.


"Global Bloodbath" became a guide for me for a long time during my wanderings through the city. I was surprised, or maybe I had a long time ago, how many people have anger in them. Hateful looks, restlessness, dissatisfaction, frustration. Just a detonator and the crowd goes out into the streets again. This is real, perfectly played death and thrash metal of old style. No embellishments, uselessness. All the bones in your body will crack, you will take a metal rod in your hands and you will go to the abandoned house to smash the wall. I like the pressure and energy I feel from the board. I also like to look at the cover. It is played here with a nice old-fashioned style, such as OBITUARY, ASPHYX, AUTOPSY, SLAYER. But "Global Bloodbath" is not only a good craft, it also has the honest, dark tremors that bands used to have. In short, I really believe their music with LUNA IN SANGUIN. It gives me energy, it irritates and burns me, it burns and it is a matter for me that I am very happy to return to. The world may have gone crazy, but everything is fine here. I'm glad that there are still similar bands that can play sharply, raw and can pin me to the wall with their music. The album is like an explosive mix, ready to be fired. Death thrash metal that will rip your heart out of your body! Great!

A few questions - ínterview with death/thrash metal band LUNA IN SANGUINEM from USA.

Interview answered by Michael Eisenhauer Guitarist and co founding member of Luna In Sanguinem, thank you!

1. Can you introduce your band to our readers? When was it founded and what style of Music do you play etc.?

EvilMike - I started the band Luna In Sanguinem with our drummer Patt Maxwell after he left Wrath and I had some time after recording Evil Incarnate “Depopulation Agenda” Album. I had 2 songs already to go and changed my guitar tuning to Drop A and we got started doing this in Winter of 2018. After Patt had the drums he wanted down and we tightened up the songs we asked old friend Rod Valdez from local band Dementox to join on Bass. We had been wanting a singer but in order to move things along I started writing lyrics and doing the vocals myself so we could play live shows after we had enough material. It was later that we joined forces with Skip McGullam from Num Skull.


2. Where and under what conditions were you recording the new Album? Who was in charge of sound, Production and Mastering?

EvilMike - We Recorded with Scott Creakmore at Mercenary Digital Studios in Zion Illinois. We started with me playing Guitar to a click track after setting tempos with a Guitar scratch track (to be replaced later) and then the Drums could be Recorded. After Drums I did all The actual Guitar tracks and then Rod played bass and I did Vocals. Once that was finished Patt did some back up parts and I did the Guitar solos. It was when we were in process of Scott getting a Pre Mix ready for us to hear when Skip joined the band. It was decided that if he was going to be our Singer that he would need to go into the studio and Record his voice instead. We kept a few of my growls and some back up parts on my vocals. Scott Creakmore handles everything in his studio. Recording, Mixing and Mastering. We Produced our own Recording Financially. We make suggestions to Scott as to sounds but generally he knows exactly what we want. I would highly Recommend him to anyone.

3. How many copies were released and which medium was used for this new edition ( CD, Digital, Vynal, Cassette?)

EvilMike - We only released this Debut EP Global Bloodbath Digitally and onto CDs. It is available anywhere you might want to find a Band such as ours on Digital and as for copies we Released 200 more simple free CDs and 200 Digipack more elaborate copies ourselves. We also just had a purchase from The Metalhead Box to buy from us 200 additional Digipack Pro CDs for subscribers. So in total 600 Pro CDs have been released in the past few months. We have not yet made the decisions to release this onto Vynal or Cassette.


4. Who is the Author of the lyrics and how were they created and what do the lyrics deal with?

EvilMike - I am the one who writes all of our lyrics. Usually I have some ideas already from notes I keep and I either write lyrics first and they fit to a song with some additional changes I make or I have the song done music first and then I take my notes and write to the music. Occasionally I start with a Catchy Chorus I have written and all I have is this Chorus riff and Lyrics only as a Chorus and it builds from there, so it depends. I am always trying to keep things a little different without straying from the sound I originally imagined for this band.

In my other band Evil Incarnate I was trapped in a box with lyrical topics. In this band Luna In Sanguinem it is great that I can write about anything I want to. It can go anywhere from subjects like Artificial Intelligence and CERN to Vampires or Murder. Maybe I will write about Alien Forces and Gods of old or Atlantic and The New World Order. but I have much freedom and it is a nice change. I doubt I will ever run out of ideas. Although we are not a Religious band and we also are not Political we do enjoy our Constitution and do not support Communism. Maybe this would work into a song sometime.


5. Who created the logo of the band, and who took care of the graphics and the web site? What about you and Social Networks? Do you consider these things are important?

EvilMike - In today’s World Social Network’s are extremely important. Unless you have a lot of Money for Magazine ads and Mailing copies of CDs all over The World to every Radio Station and Magazine or Zine and for Radio Ads and all the old ways on steroids ( Music Scene is so huge now) you must do social media. Now we can submit MP3S to 10 places a day for no cost but time. Of course you still must do ads and Physical copies but it’s much faster and easier now so I do not mind. I miss the old days but I am now use to the new.

Our Logo is something our Drummer designed with the concept coming from the name itself. Luna In Sanguinem is Latin and basically means something like “under the blood moon.” We chose this name together as a band. About any Social Network designing that has so far been done all of our band pages were done also by Patt. We do not yet have a Web Page only things like Facebook and such.


6. Which Label did you choose for releasing your Album and why did you choose this Label ? Are you satisfied by How your Label represents you and takes care of you?

EvilMike - we do not have a Record Label and are not interested in one at the moment. We do have a few we speak with about potentially releasing our band but I don’t want to say at this tune who that might be. If we decide it is in our best interests we will then make a public announcement. The Label would have to be able to do for us what we cannot currently do for ourselves.

7. Which bands do you idolize and where do you get your inspiration?

EvilMike - This is always the most difficult question because it can change for me from one week to the next. Sure a lot of bands will always remain in my top 20 list and I am always listening to new UG stuff but some days I am in the mood to hear stuff like old Metallica and King Diamond or Merciful Fate, other days I am strictly Ultra Brutal DM and Slam bands like Organectomy , Putrid Pile, Analepsy and Suffocation & Dying Fetus and another day I am all about Judas Priest,W.A.S.P. or Slayer and Exodus or Dark Angel. Probably my favorite Metal era is 89/92 DM and my favorite style would be Swedish DM Like Dismember or Grave and Entrails. I may be also in a BM mood and play Satyricon or Dimmu Borgir or Hell Hammer & Bathory.

8. Did you send your Record to some Labels - which are the Labels? How was the response?

EvilMike- I sent it to several Larger and also Smaller Labels. Of course there are much more but It isn’t a priority at this time so I stopped. We have been doing a good job ourselves so far and still have a lot of work to do. A Label will be found eventually and until then we are happy with what we have accomplished and will soon accomplish.

9. How many gigs have you played? Which type of gigs do you prefer, whether it’s (clubs or festivals) and which of your performances would you consider as the best?

EvilMike - this band has yet to play Festivals but in years past we enjoyed these very much with our bands. I do enjoy a larger crowd but I must admit I also enjoy a smaller one. I have no personal preference. I just enjoy being on stage. I do however hate small cramped Stages because I like to move a lot. I think it has been around 25 shows Luna in Sanguinem have played so far in just over one year of being a band.


10. What about your plans for the future? What do you want to achieve with the band?

EvilMike - We have long distance shows booking now as a priority for 2021 playing to potential fans who have yet to hear about us in far away states in USA. We may do a longer Tour later in the same year. For sure we are Recording another EP this Winter and will also release this ourselves in the exact same way as Global Bloodbath. 

After this we will look for that Record Label. Maybe something will happen sooner but we are enjoying this and in no hurry. It has to be great for us.

I am going to start trading our CDs soon and getting them into Distros & Stores soon as well. We want to be on top and we know this is possible for our band.

Také máte pocit, že nastaly divné časy? Máme se velmi dobře, spojuje nás všechny obrovská síť. Informace, pokud o ně stojí, získá úplně každý. Přesto je najednou všude kolem vidět čím dál tím víc nenávisti, jedovatých slin. Lidé jsou jako ovce jdoucí na porážku. Celé to připomíná staré sci-fi knížky, takhle nějak začínala apokalypsa. Postupně jsme zapomněli na tradiční hodnoty, na poctivou a upřímnou práci. Klam a přetvářku potkáváme několikrát denně, bojíme se říkat pravdu. Ještě, že mám hudbu, ke které mohu utéct. Zatím.

Návrat po dlouhých šesti letech se francouzské legendě LOUDBLAST vydařil. Dle mého úsudku na výbornou. Pánové mě vzali do svého světa, plného temných a monumentálních melodií. Ze skladeb cítím velkou sílu, kterou dle mého umí stejně nejlépe předat kapely podobného ražení. Tady je svět ještě v pořádku!


"Manifesto" je tradičním materiálem, ale i perfektně odvedeným řemeslem. Deska se velmi dobře poslouchá, již po několika posleších vím, že bude kolovat v mých žilách ještě dlouhou dobu. LOUDBLAST lze stylově zařadit mezi smečky jako MASSACRA, DEATH, MERCYLESS, AGRESSOR, PESTILENCE, THANATOS. Přirovnání ale není příliš důležité. Na francouzských bardech se mi líbí hlavně přístup k hudbě jako takové. Songy jsou propracované, obsahují v sobě jasnou a zřetelnou strukturu. Perfektní zvuk a produkci, zajímavý obal. Tohle všechno umí ale v současnosti spousta skupin. LOUDBLAST mají navíc velké množství talentu napsat motivy, které jsou zajímavé, syrové, záhadné a nebál bych se napsat i magické. První alba této legendy jsou samozřejmě obestřeny vzpomínkami i aurou nostalgie. Sám je mám moc rád, ale s novinkou si pánové ostudu rozhodně neutrhli. Spíš naopak, jedná se o pestrou směsici převážně temných a chladných nálad. Občasné výlety do progresivních vod jsou osvěžující a já už teď vím, že u mě v přehrávači bude mít "Manifesto" dlouhou trvanlivost a své čestné místo. Rád se k desce vracím, procházím se s ní ulicemi a sleduji dnešní zkažený svět. Propracovaný, inteligentní death thrash metal od mistrů v oboru! Skvělá nahrávka!

Do you also feel that strange times have come? We are very well connected, we are connected by a huge network. Everyone, if they care about them, will get the information. Yet suddenly, more and more hatred, poisonous saliva, can be seen all around. People are like sheep going to slaughter. It all resembles old sci-fi books, this is how the apocalypse began. Gradually, we forgot about traditional values, about honest and sincere work. We meet deception and hypocrisy several times a day, we are afraid to tell the truth. Luckily, I have music to which I can run to. Yet. 

The return after six long years was a success for the French legend LOUDBLAST. In my opinion, excellent. The gentlemen took me into their world, full of dark and monumental melodies. I feel a great power from the songs, which in my opinion is best passed on by bands of a similar nature. The world is still fine here!


"Manifesto" is a traditional material, but also a perfectly executed craft. The record is very well listenable, after a few listings I know that it will circulate in my veins for a long time. LOUDBLAST can be stylistically classified among bands such as MASSACRA, DEATH, MERCYLESS, AGRESSOR, PESTILENCE, THANATOS. But the comparison is not very important. On French bards, I especially like the approach to music as such. The songs are elaborate, they contain a clear and distinct structure. Perfect sound and production, interesting cover. But a lot of bands can do all this at the moment. In addition, LOUDBLAST have a great deal of talent for writing motifs that are interesting, raw, mysterious, and I wouldn't be afraid to write magical ones. The first albums of this legend are, of course, shrouded in memories and an aura of nostalgia. I like them very much myself, but the gentlemen certainly don’t have to be shame for new material. On the contrary, it is a varied mixture of mostly dark and cold moods. Occasional trips to progressive waters are refreshing and I already know that "Manifesto" will have a long shelf life and its place of honor in my player. I like to return to the record, walk the streets with it and watch today's corrupt world. Sophisticated, intelligent death thrash metal from masters in the field! Great recording!

Často nebývá nejhorší způsobená bolest, ale moment překvapení. Bodnutí do zad má mnoho významů, ale já teď myslím opravdový ostrý nůž, který vám zajede skrz tělo až někam do vnitřností. Krev není voda, ale tentokrát je to to nejmenší. Nejhorší je zklamání, údiv, že vás zradili. Padáte k zemi a postupně se ocitáte v jakési divné mlze. Než se úplně vypnete, slyšíte zpovzdálí tichý zlý smích našeptávačů.

Ukrajinští death thrasheři HELL:ON na to jdou velmi podobně. Letos opět přicházejí s hudbou, která je propracovaná, záhadná a tajemná. Pokud občas napíšu, že je nějaká deska těžká a vyplatí se počkat několik poslechů, než vám pronikne do krve, tak tentokrát to opravdu platí. "Scythian Stamm" je sice postavena na tradičních základech (BEHEMOTH, VADER, HATE, MORBID ANGEL), ale celou deskou se prolínají různé vsuvky, odbočky, kapela se hodně snažila, aby jejich novinka byla pestrá. Myslím, že se jim to opravdu podařilo. 

 

HELL:ON nejsou zbytečně suroví, když to není potřeba, spíše si hrají s náladami, jsou temní a záhadní. Některé výlety směřují až k ANNIHILATOR, SOUFLY, SLAYER, BOLT THROWER. Těch vlivů a různých zajímavých momentů zde nalezneme opravdu velké množství. Občas sice trošku spadne řetěz a kapela jakoby nevěděla, co dál hrát, ale jako celek rozhodně obstojí. Zvukově jsou Ukrajinci čistí, průzrační, spíše modernější. Produkce je tradiční, vlastně ničím výjimečná, podobně jako motivy jednotlivých skladeb, ale když se zaposloucháte pečlivěji a máte bujnou fantazii, tak si naleznete to své. Mě osobně se "Scythian Stamm" vlastně líbí, i když jsem zezačátku vůbec nevěděl proč. Možná je to kombinací stylů, kdy mimo thrashe a deathu na povrch občas vylezou i black metalové plochy, nevím, ale deska má pro mě takovou zvláštní, těžko vysvětlitelnou přitažlivost. Představte si starý opuštěný kostel. Víru v dobro jste dávno ztratili a máte pocit, že kolem obcházejí démoni. Zvou vás do světa za oponou, plného temnoty a chladu. A přesně takoví jsou i HELL:ON. Velmi dobře!


sumarizace:

Při poslechu novinky "Scythian Stamm" ukrajinských HELL:ON mám neobytný pocit, že jsem opravdu navěky uzavřen ve staré kobce. Každý den k večeru, když nebe ztěžkne a prší krev, se zúčastňuji černých mší plných zaříkávání, reálného a syrového death/thrash/black metalu. Vždy moji tvář ovane závan větru ze záhrobí. Máme zde co do činění s opravdovým pekelným ohněm.

"Scythian Stamm" je nebývale temným albem. HELL:ON mi připomínají padlé kněze, kteří dávno ztratili svoji víru. Dnes jsou zkušenými a značně uvěřitelnými zaříkávači. Hudba zde připomíná svíjející se klubko hadů, kteří se po pálení rozžhaveným železem rozhodli pomstít celému světu. Ze skladeb je cítit tma, rouhání a hlavně nekonečný chlad. Představte si vysokou zeď, postavenou z kamení, železa, špíny, smrti a nenávisti. Padá vám přímo na vaši hruď, dusí vás, drtí nebývalou silou. HELL:ON mě přesvědčili na svoji temnou stranu, podmanili si mou duši a navěky mě prokleli. Splňují mé nejvyšší požadavky na rituální obřady. Nebe zase hoří! Smrt pořádá nekonečné orgie! Death/thrash metal, který vás spálí na popel!

When listening to the new album "Scythian Stamm" of an Ukraina band HELL:ON I have the feeling that I am really locked up in an old cell. Every day in the evening, when the sky becomes heavy and the blood is raining, I participate in black masses full of invocation, real and raw death/thrash/black metal. My face is always blown with wind from the tombs. We are dealing with the real hell fire. 

"Scythian Stamm" is an unusually dark album. HELL:ON reminds me of fallen priests who have lost their faith long time ago. Today they are experienced and highly believable chants. Their music reminds me of writhing cluster of snakes which were burned with hot iron and they decided to get back at the world. From their songs you can feel darkness, blasphemy and the endless cold. Imagine a high wall made out of stones, iron, dirt, death and hate. It is falling right on your chest, it suffocates you, smashing you with unprecedented strength. THE HELL:ON convinced me on their dark side, they conquered my soul and cursed me forever. They meet my highest requirements for ritual ceremonies. The heaven is burning again! The death is holding endless orgies! Death metal which will burn you to ashes!

Jsou tři hodiny ráno a mě probudil divný pocit v břiše. Kolem našeho domu je mlha, ale v tom protějším vidím siluetu postavy v křesle. Asi také nemůže spát. Mám divný pocit a tak si sednu před bílou plochu textového editoru a poslouchám novou desku českých THE CORONA LANTERN. Kapely, kterou jsem zatím bohužel nikdy neviděl naživo. Přesto cítím a  slyším znovu spoustu pochmurných emocí a nálad.

Celou novinkou "Certa Omnibus Hora" se prolíná ponurá, smutná atmosféra. Píší o sobě, že hrají post doom metal.  Nevím, označení pro mě nebývají důležitá. Pro mě je hlavní, že jsem se oblékl a vyrazil ven. Zamával paní v okně a vydal se nahoru nad město. Pomalu svítá, riffy mě drásají až někam dovnitř hlavy. Skladby jsou velmi dobře napsány, mají v sobě drive i pověstnou sílu. Pro podzimní mlhavá rána je hudba THE CORONA LANTERN jako stvořená.


V dnešní době nadprodukce muziky se často setkávám s tím, že si mnohé skupiny na předkládaný styl jenom hrají, předstírají jej. Odtrženým od reality jim to současný virtuální svět umožňuje. To ale není případ nové desky  "Certa Omnibus Hora". Ta si mě ihned naklonila na svoji stranu. Je syrová, uvěřitelná. Musím našlapovat tiše, činím tak i za světla, kdy brzké ranní přízraky zdánlivě pominou. Jsou ale uvnitř, uvnitř mého těla i hudby THE CORONA LANTERN. Je jednoduché hodnotit formální stránku věci - obal, celková grafika, zvuk i produkce, vše je na profesionální úrovni. Kapela má svůj jasný výraz, směr a cíl. Dokáže mě probudit ve tři ráno a donutit pohlédnout do protějšího domu. Dnes se možná paní usmívá nebo se mi to jenom zdá. Cítím z toho pohledu, stejně jako z nahrávky, samotu, spočinutí, smutek, pomíjivost fyzična, budhisté mi dají zajisté za pravdu. Líbí se mi celkový projev kapely, skladby drží pohromadě, jsou jasně a zřetelně zacílené. Zároveň bublají jako žhavá láva pod povrchem. Potkává se zde doom metal s nihilismem i progresivními prvky. Tři týdny album poslouchám a každý den nahlížím do protějšího domu. Paní byla dávno mrtvá, byla jen osamocenou siluetou, která nikomu nechyběla. Občas bývá zvláštní, s čím se mi muzika spojí a jak na mě působí. Tentokrát byla šedivým oparem, studenou mlhou, přesnou definicí podivných snů. Pro mě je hrozně důležité, aby mě hudba něčím zaujala, probudila ve mě chvění, zasekla do mě dráp. Letos se to THE CORONA LANTERN povedlo na výbornou. Jsou velmi příjemným, i když smutným, osvěžením podzimních dní.

It's three o'clock in the morning and I was awakened by a strange feeling in my stomach. There is fog around our house, but on the opposite side I see the silhouette of a figure in a chair. He probably can't sleep either. I have a weird feeling, so I sit in front of the white surface of a text editor and listen to the new album of Czech band THE CORONA LANTERN. A band I've unfortunately never seen live before. Nevertheless, I feel and hear a lot of gloomy emotions and moods again. 

The whole new album "Certa Omnibus Hora" is interspersed by a gloomy, sad atmosphere. They call themselves as post doom metal. I don't know, genres aren't important to me. The main thing for me is that I got dressed and went out. I waved to the lady in the window and headed up over the city. It is slowly dawning, the riffs are scratching into my head. The songs are very well written, they have a drive and a reputation for strength. THE CORONA LANTERN's music is perfect for a foggy autumn morning.


In today's overproduction of music, I often come across the fact that many groups just “play” the presented style, pretend it. Detached from reality, the current virtual world allows them to do it. But this is not the case with the new album "Certa Omnibus Hora". It immediately tilted me to its side. It's raw, believable. I have to tread quietly, I do so even in the light, when the early morning ghosts seem to pass. But they are inside, inside my body and the music of THE CORONA LANTERN. It's easy to evaluate the formal side of things - the cover, the overall graphics, sound and production, everything is on a professional level. The band has its clear expression, direction and goal. They can wake me at three in the morning and make me look at the house opposite. Today, maybe the lady is smiling or it just seems to me. From that point of view, as well as from the recording, I feel loneliness, rest, sadness, physical transience, the Buddhists will certainly agree with me. I like the overall performance of the band, the songs stick together, they are clearly targeted. At the same time, they are bubbling like hot lava beneath the surface. Doom metal meets nihilism and progressive elements here. I listen to the album for three weeks and look at the opposite house every day. The lady was long time dead, she was just a lone silhouette that no one missed. Sometimes it's weird what music connects to me and how it affects me. This time it was a gray haze, a cold mist, the exact definition of strange dreams. It is very important for me that the music fascinates me with something, awakens a shiver in me, a claw gets stuck in me. This year, THE CORONA LANTERN did very well. They are a very pleasant, but also sad refreshment in autumn days.

Malý statek za městem byl vždy oblíbeným místem. Spousta úsměvů, uprostřed přírody. Zvířata a lidé ve vzájemné symbióze. Pro všechny to byl tedy velký šok, když našli první zohavené tělo. Všechny šokovala brutalita pachatele. Začalo se mluvit o bestii, které obchází po okolí. Nakonec se ale zjistilo, že vrahem byl obyčejný chlápek od rodiny, milý a společenský. Okouzlující manžel a milující otec. Zlo se někdy ukrývá hodně hluboko a je těžké jej objevit.

Jsou ale kapely, které jej umí znázornit, zahrát a přenést na hudební nosič. Argentinští CADAVER PUTREFACTO mě na svém druhém dlouhohrajícím albu vzali na death metalový výlet do podobných míst. Kousek za město, kde ve staré stodole visí na hácích kusy lidského masa.


U mě vždy zvítězí kapely, které umí do svých skladeb propašovat temnotu, chlad, které dokáží přesvědčit moje uši k dalším poslechům. Argentinci tohle všechno umí a dělají to skvěle. Skladby mají jasnou strukturu, motivy se mi ihned usadily v hlavě. Pánové jsou volně inspirováni kapelami jako CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, DEICIDE, ETERNAL GRAVE, ale i kolegy AVERNAL, SADISTIC KILL, ZOOFILIA. Samozřejmě mají svůj vlastní výraz, zvuk a poznáte je mezi ostatními. Mě osobně se nejvíc líbí pradávná černá energie, která na mě útočí během poslechu celého alba. "Ritual de exsanguinación" je záležitostí pro všechny opravdové fanoušky ryzího reálného death metalu. Nic nikde nepřebývá, ani nechybí a vy si tak můžete naplno vychutnat krvavou lázeň. Společná setkání jsou podobná těm, které je možno zažít na starodávných pohřebištích. Album je jako oběť šíleným démonům. Skvěle napsané, složené a zahrané. Navíc dostanete obrovskou ránu do obličeje, hudba vás opravdu rozdrtí na prach. Excelentní death metal s hororovým nádechem!

A small farm outside the city has always been a popular place. Lots of smiles, in the middle of nature. Animals and people in mutual symbiosis. So it was a big shock for everyone to find their first mutilated body. Everyone was shocked by the perpetrator's brutality. There was talk of a beast circling the area. In the end, however, it turned out that the killer was an ordinary guy from the family, kind and sociable. Charming husband and loving father. Evil sometimes hides very deep and is difficult to discover. 

But there are bands that can depict, play and transfer it to music. Argentine CADAVER PUTREFACTO took me on a death metal trip to similar places on their second full-length album. Not far from the city, where pieces of human meat hang on hooks in an old barn.


For me, bands that can smuggle darkness into their songs, coldness that can convince my ears to listen more, always win. Argentines can do all this and they do it great. The songs have a clear structure, the motifs immediately settled in my head. The gentlemen are loosely inspired by bands such as CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, DEICIDE, ETERNAL GRAVE, but also colleagues AVERNAL, SADISTIC KILL, ZOOFILIA. Of course, they have their own expression, sound and you will recognize them among others. Personally, I like the most ancient black energy that attacks me while listening to the whole album. "Ritual de exsanguinación" is a material for all true fans of pure real death metal. There is nothing left or missing anywhere and you can fully enjoy the blood bath. Joint meetings are similar to those that can be experienced in ancient cemeteries. The album is like a sacrifice to crazy demons. Well written, composed and played. Plus, you get a huge blow to the face, the music really crushes you to dust. Excellent death metal with a touch of horror!
