Konečně si našel klid. Daleko od šíleného světa. V chladných a temných katakombách. U svých předků, kteří stejně jako ty měli rádi muziku. Starodávná hrobka, v rohu starého hřbitova. Chodil si sem pokládat květiny, ale teď, teď je vše úplně jiné. Posloucháš totiž novou desku death doomových MORBID STENCH a rozmlouváš s nemrtvými. Vyprávějí ti o svém utrpení, o tom, jak zemřeli.
Zohavená těla ale neožívají jenom v tvých představách. U "The Rotting Ways of Doom" se otvírají ty nejhnusnější hroby a vylézají ven všichni ti, kteří věřili jen ve zlo. Atmosféra celé nahrávky je děsivá, chladná a tajemná. Jako absolutní tma, jako špatné vzpomínky.
Proséváš mezi prsty prach. Zpuchřelé kosti, lebky, které se smějí do tmy. Pach rozkládajících se tkání. Sem, hluboko pod zem, mezi staré rakve, patří i MORBID STENCH. Zde museli nahrávat své nové album. Má skvělý prašivý a mrazivý zvuk. Čitelné motivy, chorobný vokál, ale hlavně velké množství zajímavých pasáží, které mě pokaždé doslova přikovou k reproduktorům. Nasávám podmanivou a záhadnou atmosféru, připadám si jako na nějakém dávno zapomenutém rituálu, u kterého jsou vyvolávány duše prokletých. Nejvíce se mi osvědčil poslech při dlouhých cestách podzimním městem. Někde na pomezí dne a noci, v šerosvitu, v těchto momentech jsem si desku užíval nejvíce. Pánové mají dar a talent na to složit riffy, u kterých vám bude tuhnout krev v žilách. Najednou, za zvuků "The Rotting Ways of Doom", není přechod na druhou stranu zase tolik těžký. Obával jsem se toho celý život, ale pokud bude existovat podobná hudba, stačí jenom zaplatit převozníkovi přes řeku Styx. Bloudím v mlze a konečně se setkávám se všemi přízraky. MORBID STENCH jsou jako démoni z dávných dob, kteří se rozhodli uspořádat rituál smrti. Myslím si, že se novinka nebývale povedla. Má v sobě vše potřebné pro vyvolávání duší z onoho světa. Poslouchejte pečlivě! Doom death metal, u kterého vám zmrznou všechny kosti v těle!

This is where they must have recorded their new album. It's got a great dusty and chilling sound. Clear themes, sick vocals, but most of all a lot of interesting passages that literally drive me to the speakers every time. I soak up the captivating and mysterious atmosphere, I feel like I'm at some long forgotten ritual where the souls of the damned are summoned. I found it most useful to listen to on long drives through the autumn city. Somewhere between day and night, in the twilight, it was in these moments that I enjoyed the album the most. The gentlemen have the gift and talent to compose riffs that will make your blood run cold. Suddenly, to the sounds of "The Rotting Ways of Doom", the transition to the other side isn't that hard. I've feared it all my life, but if there's music like this, all you have to do is pay the ferryman across the River Styx. I'm wandering in the fog and finally meeting all the ghosts. MORBID STENCH are like demons from ancient times who have decided to perform a death ritual. I think the novelty is unprecedented. It has everything you need to summon souls from the other world.
