Příběhy plné násilí, které znovu ožívají. Vzpomínky na bolest a utrpení. Strach a nenávist, zmařené životy. Tohle všechno lze vyčíst z nápisů na náhrobcích. Někdy potřebuji být sám. Nasazuji sluchátka a hledám muziku, která by mě přenesla na druhou stranu, do země nekonečných stínů. Italští ARAPHEL pro mě byli dosud zcela neznámým jménem. Také mají, mimo tohoto alba, na svém kontě pouze jedno EP. Jedná se o syrový, prašivý, chladný a temný black metal se zajímavým rukopisem. Takové byly moje první dojmy a za tímto názorem si stojím i teď, po delší době a mnoha společných setkáních.
Mám rád, když se mnou hudba něco dělá, když mě nenechá v klidu. Novinka "The Endchanter" se do mě ihned otiskla a zanechala po sobě hlubokou krvavou stopu. Nad hřbitovem byla zrovna mlha a v kostech se mi usadil chlad. Měl jsem zase jednou pocit, že mi v žilách kolují nahrubo nasekané kousky ledu. Je to skvělé album, rozhodně bych jej doporučil všem tmářům i nemrtvým.
Pod touto kapelou jsou podepsáni zkušení muzikanti, v čele s maniakem Santo, kterého snad ani nemusím představovat. Nové album je nihilistickou výpovědí o současném stavu společnosti. Zahleděni do sebe samých kráčíme v davu. Všichni vypadáme stejně, kupujeme stejné věci a stala se z nás na dálku ovládaná entita. Je pro mě vždycky velmi příjemné, když potkám na svých toulkách tmou muziku, která mě osloví. ARAPHEL se volně inspirovali ve stejných chladných vodách, ve kterých působili a působí kapely typu BATHORY, DISSECTION, DESASTER, IMMORTAL, XANTOTOL. Navíc samozřejmě přidali velkou spoustu svých nápadů a invence. Výsledný dojem je potom velmi dobrý i co se týká formálních věcí, jako je povedený zvuk nebo jednoduchý, přesto účinný motiv na obalu. Připadá mi, že nikde nic nechybí, ani nepřebývá. Zkrátka a dobře, tahle nahrávka splňuje všechny mé požadavky na to, abych se k ní rád a často vracel. Pokud se s chutí procházíte ranní mlhou na hřbitově, lekáte se světla a vaše duše zažila bolest, potom určitě víte, o čem píšu. "The Endchanter" mi nejvíc připomínalo jedno mrazivé ráno, ve kterém jsem se vydal ke špinavé řece, která vytéká z našeho města. Najednou, když jsem tohle album poslouchal, jsem měl pocit, že se ve vlnách vznáší utonulá těla, všechna ta lidská bolest a utrpení. Strach a nenávist. Za mě nelze jinak, než vám novinku doporučit. Na povrchu je totiž chladná a zároveň hoří zevnitř. Ztratili jsme víru v nás samotné! Mrazivý temný black metal, který vám nastaví zrcadlo!

Stories full of violence that come back to life. Memories of pain and suffering. Fear and hatred, wasted lives. All this can be read from the inscriptions on the gravestones. Sometimes I need to be alone. I put on my headphones and look for music that will transport me to the other side, to the land of endless shadows. The Italian band ARAPHEL was a completely unknown name to me until now. Apart from this album, they have only one EP to their credit. It is raw, mangy, cold, and dark black metal with an interesting style. Those were my first impressions, and I still stand by that opinion now, after a long time and many encounters with them.
I like it when music does something to me, when it doesn't leave me alone. The new album "The Endchanter" immediately left a deep bloody mark on me. There was fog over the cemetery and a chill settled in my bones. Once again, I had the feeling that roughly chopped pieces of ice were circulating in my veins. It's a great album, I would definitely recommend it to all dark ones and the undead.
This band consists of experienced musicians, led by the maniac Santo, whom I probably don't need to introduce. The new album is a nihilistic statement about the current state of society. Lost in ourselves, we walk in a crowd. We all look the same, buy the same things, and have become a remotely controlled entity. It is always very pleasant for me when I encounter music that appeals to me on my wanderings through the darkness. ARAPHEL was loosely inspired by the same cold waters in which bands such as BATHORY, DISSECTION, DESASTER, IMMORTAL, and XANTOTOL operated and continue to operate. In addition, of course, they added a lot of their own ideas and inventiveness. The resulting impression is very good in terms of formal aspects, such as the well-done sound and the simple yet effective cover art. It seems to me that nothing is missing or superfluous. In short, this recording meets all my requirements for me to enjoy returning to it often. If you enjoy walking through the morning mist in a cemetery, are frightened by light, and your soul has experienced pain, then you definitely know what I'm writing about. "The Endchanter" reminded me most of a frosty morning when I went to the dirty river that flows out of our town. Suddenly, as I listened to this album, I had the feeling that drowned bodies were floating in the waves, all that human pain and suffering. Fear and hatred. I can't help but recommend this new release to you. It's cold on the surface, but burning from the inside. We've lost faith in ourselves! Freezing, dark black metal that holds up a mirror to you!
