Říkal si sběratel. Chlap v nejlepším věku, plný síly. Všichni ho měli rádi, jen se mu nikdo nedokázal podívat do očí. V jeho pohledu bylo něco zvířecího. Nikdo nevěděl, že jeho největším koníčkem jsou nekonečné večery ve sklepě, kde měl v různých polohách nainstalována zohavená těla. Smrt ho fascinovala od malička. Rád pitval a mučil zvířata. Do jedné takové morbidní galerie vás zvou i němečtí maniaci ENDSEEKER.
Není žádným tajemstvím, že mám pro tuhle kapelu velkou slabost. Důkazem budiž odkazy na recenze i rozhovor, které naleznete dole pod dnešním článkem. I letos pánové pokračují ve své ďábelské jízdě a exhumují hroby prokletých. Ostré melodie, surový vokál, zabijácké bicí a také velké množství temné energie, posbírané hluboko v podzemí.
Když nové EP "Coffin Born" poslouchám, tak mám opravdu neodbytný pocit, že mě někdo spolu s kapelou zavřel do márnice. Slyším nářek nemrtvých. Šeptají slova plná bolesti a utrpení. Chtějí se pomstít. Stejně jako já si užívají masivní, chladný, řezající a dobře čitelný zvuk, s chutí se zasní nad motivem na obalu. Nové skladby jsou určeny pro všechny pravověrné, pro fanoušky třeba takových BLOOTBATH, AT THE GATES, DISMEMBER, ENTOMBED. Němci potom, velice zkušeně a s elegancí starých mistrů, přidávají i spoustu svých nápadů a invence. Já tak zase jednou sedím u reproduktorů, podupávám si do rytmu a chce se mi řvát do tmy spolu s kapelou. Pět nových songů, ostrých jako břitva, které se vám dostanou pod kůži i do podvědomí. Až jednou půjdete na hřbitov, vezměte si nové EP určitě s sebou. Jen si dávejte pozor, až půjdete kolem starých krypt. Jsou v nich pochováni ti, kteří se protivili bohu a jsou navěky prokleti. Líbí se mi přístup kapely, jejich cit pro melodie, schopnost složit zajímavé pasáže. Novinku lze s klidem označit známkou vysoké kvality. Na ENDSEEKER je spolehnutí a já lituji jediného, ještě jsem je neviděl naživo. Zrovna tohle je kapela, která musí na koncertech zabíjet. Když toho chlápka z úvodu dnešního článku potkáte, tak dávejte pozor. Dokáže okouzlit svým šarmem. Myslí si o sobě, že je jen obyčejným sběratelem. Má v zásadě pravdu. Smrt je při poslechu velmi blízko, stojí spolu se Satanem ve stínu a usmívá se. Není divu, hraje se tu i pro ni. Surový, chladný a temný death metal, u kterého odpadává maso od kostí! Masakr v márnici!

It’s no secret that I have a soft spot for this band. Proof of this can be found in the links to reviews and an interview below today’s article. This year, the guys are continuing their diabolical ride and exhuming the graves of the damned. Sharp melodies, raw vocals, killer drums, and a massive amount of dark energy, gathered deep underground.
When I listen to the new EP "Coffin Born", I get this really persistent feeling that someone has locked me in a morgue along with the band. I hear the wails of the undead. They whisper words full of pain and suffering. They want revenge. Just like me, they revel in the massive, cold, cutting, and crystal-clear sound, and they’ll happily lose themselves in the cover art. The new tracks are meant for all true believers for fans of bands like BLOOTBATH, AT THE GATES, DISMEMBER, and ENTOMBED. The Germans, with great skill and the elegance of old masters, also add plenty of their own ideas and creativity. So here I am once again, sitting by the speakers, tapping my foot to the beat, and wanting to scream into the darkness along with the band. Five new songs, razor-sharp, that will get under your skin and into your subconscious. The next time you go to the cemetery, be sure to take this new EP with you. Just be careful when you walk past the old crypts. Buried there are those who defied God and are cursed for all eternity. I like the band’s approach, their sense of melody, and their ability to compose interesting passages. This new release can easily be labeled as high quality. You can count on ENDSEEKER, and my only regret is that I haven’t seen them live yet. This is exactly the kind of band that must be a blast at concerts. If you run into that guy from the beginning of today’s article, watch out. He can charm you with his charisma. He thinks of himself as just an ordinary collector. He’s basically right. Death is very close while listening; she stands in the shadows alongside Satan, smiling. No wonder they’re playing for her, too. Raw, cold, and dark death metal that makes the flesh fall from the bones! A massacre in the morgue!
