Vyděšené oči, mrtvý pohled. Mám pocit, že se na mě pořád dívá. Mladá dívka, včera ještě krásná a smyslná, dnes jen kus masa pohozený u cesty. Mrzne a mě pořád pronásleduje její pohled. Jakoby mi viděla do duše, jakoby žalovala. Řekni mi, kdo ti to udělal? Odpověď nepřichází, jen mezi stromy se prohání vítr. Lesní cesta, daleko na severu. Zavolali mě sem, abych ohledal místo činu. Nenávist a strach. Beznaděj a smutek. Zmrzlá ruka, natažená v nedokončené prosbě. Musím odtud pryč, někam, kde budu mít klid.
Někam, kde budu moci poslouchat novou desku (prvotinu) finských black death metalistů PROSCRIPTION. Ti mě vzali na podobná místa. Do temnoty, do podzemí, do černé tmy. Na jejich albu "Conduit" nemrtví ožívají a bědují nad svým osudem.
Často, když vidím něco zlého, tak se ptám, kde byl asi Bůh? Nevím, možná vůbec neexistuje. Peklo ale ano, to o sobě dává vědět často a jasně. Hlasitě. Stejně jako na nové desce "Conduit", ve které lze vystopovat odkazy starých amerických death metalových kapel i načernalé shnilé zbytky black metalu (HATE). PROSCRIPTION jsou postaveni na zbytcích kdysi velmi slibných MAVETH. Tentokrát na to jdou pánové ale trošku jinak, pro Finsko spíše netypickým způsobem. Jsou víc atmosféričtí, jsou soundtrackem k opuštěným lesním cestám, na kterých loví šelmy. Cítím z nahrávky, která je velmi dobře zvukově ošetřena, velký potenciál. Líbí se mi, jakým způsobem jsou skladby napsány a složeny, jak gradují, jak se mi zadírají postupně pod kůži. Proplétám se mezi stíny, přidávám hlasitost a říkám si, že tahle hudba nejlépe opravdu vynikne ve starých katakombách, případně hluboko v temných hvozdech. Finové jsou možná někdy trošku rozvláční, ale rozhodně si mě dokázali svojí tvorbou podmanit. Doporučuji všem ohledávačům mrtvol, všem nemrtvým, i všem prokletým! Zásah přímo do černého!

She freezes and I´m still haunted by her gaze. As if she saw into my soul, as if she were suing. Tell me, who did this to you? The answer does not come, only the wind blows through the trees. Forest road, far to the north. They called me here to search the scene. Hatred and fear. Hopelessness and sadness. A frozen hand outstretched in an unfinished plea. I have to get out of here, somewhere to rest.
Somewhere where I will be able to listen to a new record (the first one) of Finnish black death metalists PROSCRIPTION. They took me to similar places. Into the darkness, into the underground, into the black darkness. On their album “Conduit” the undead come to life and mourn their fate.
Often when I see something bad, I ask, where was God? I don´t know, maybe it doesn't exist at all. But hell yes, it makes itself known often and clearly. Loud. As on the new album “Conduit”, in which you can trace the references of old American death metal bands and the blackened rotten remnants of black metal (HATE). PROSCRIPTION are built on the remnants of the once very promising MAVETH. This time, gentlemen are doing it a little differently, in a rather atypical way for Finland. They are more atmospheric, they are a soundtrack to abandoned forest paths where they hunt beasts. I feel great potential from the recording, which is very well sound treated. I like the way the songs are written and composed, how they graduate, how they gradually get under my skin. I weave through the shadows, add volume and say to myself that this music really stands out best in the old catacombs, or deep in the dark forests. The Finns may sometimes be a little tedious, but they definitely managed to conquer me with their work. I recommend to all corpses men, all the undead, and all the cursed! His straight into the back!
