Dnes se cítím pod psa. Kolem je mlha a sychravo. Přesto musím vstát, uklidit v márnici a pak exhumovat jeden starý hrob. Nemám náladu, vidím všechno černě, ale beru do ruky lopatu a jdu na to. Mezi stromy kvílí vítr a já cítím v kostech smutek. Usměji se vlastně až ve chvíli, když potkám prvního nemrtvého. Má protáhlý obličej a chybí mu kus lebky. Dívám se na žhnoucí tepající mozek a říkám si, že na tom nejsem zase tolik špatně.
Odměnou mi je i hrob s nápisem SKELETAL na náhrobku. Naleznu v něm starou seschlou kostru a také nové CD "Bitterness and Burning Hatred" a den najednou není zase tolik špatný. Naopak, riffy mi rozproudí krev v žilách. Konečně zase nějaký death metal, který ctí klasické pořádky a zároveň má v sobě pořádnou porci temnoty.
Novinka má poctivý old school death metalový základ a feeling. Jakoby staří PESTILENCE, AUTOPSY, CARCASS, INCANTATION, MORBID ANGEL potkali SLAYER. To vše zabalené v parádním obalu a se zvukem, který se vám doslova zadře pod kůži. "Bitterness and Burning Hatred" je jako čerstvá krev, vytékající z proříznuté tepny. Dobrý death metal má mít v sobě velký kus srdce, odhodlání a poctivosti a SKELETAL si mě ihned naklonili na svoji stranu. Hudba doslova pálí. Je plesnivá, zahnívající a rozjasnila mi můj jinak chmurný den. Zase tolik hrobníků to neumí. Finové si hrají s temnými náladami, některé momenty jsou doslova až magické. Od tohohle hrobu nebudu moci dlouho odtrhnout svůj zrak i sluch. Těším se na večer, až ožijí stíny nemrtvých, až si pustím desku pořádně nahlas a nechám se unášet na vlnách old school death metalu. Koluje mi totiž, stejně jako kapele, v krvi. Postupně tam hnije, rozkládá moje tkáně a přetvařuje si mě k obrazu svému. Stejně jako "Bitterness and Burning Hatred", které bych chtěl tímto doporučit nejen všem starým fanouškům reálné smrti. Tma, chlad a prašivina!

I´m not in the mood, I see everything in black, but I pick up a shovel and go for it. The wind howls between the trees and I feel sadness in my bones. I smile only when I meet the first undead person. He's got an elongated face and is missing a piece of his skull. I´m looking at the glowing throbbing brain and saying to myself that I´m not so bad at it again.
My reward is also a grave with the sign SKELETAL on the tombstone. In it I find an old withered skeleton and also a new CD “Bitterness and Burning Hatred” and suddenly the das is not so bad anymore. On the contrary, riffs stir up blood in my veins. Finally, some death metal that respects classic order and at the same time has a good portion of darkness in it.
The new album has an honest death metal base and feeling. It is as if the old PESTILENCE, AUTOPSY, CARCASS, INCANTATION, MORBID ANGEL met SLAYER. All of that is wrapped in a great package and with a sound that will literally get stuck under your skin. “Bitterness and Burning Hatred” is like fresh blood flowing from a severed artery. Good death metal is supposed to have a big piece of heart, determination and honesty in it. And SKELETAL immediately turned me to their side. The music literally burns. It is moldy, rotting and brightens my otherwise gloomy day. Again, so many gravediggers can't do it. Finns play with dark moods, some moments are literally magical. I will not be able to take my sight and hearing away from this grave for long. I´m looking forward to the evening when the shadows of the undead come to life, when I play the record really loud and let myself drift on the waves of old school death metal. It circulates in my blood just like it circulates in the band´s blood. It gradually rots there, decomposes my tissues and transforms me into his image. Just like “Bitterness and Burning Hatred” which I would like to recommend not only to all old fans of real death. Darkness, cold and dust!
