Každý z nás v sobě máme něco děsivého, zvířecího. Záleží jenom na situaci a podmínkách, jestli necháme svoje temné pudy vylézt na povrch. Když ležíte na chladné zemi a jste lovenou zvěří, tak se ukryjete do stínu, abyste sami zaútočili. Ukrajinské HATE FOREST sleduji již poměrně dlouhou dobu, jen jsem o nich nikdy nepsal. Vždycky se mi na nich líbila bestialita a nekompromisní přístup, jen jsem nikdy nesebral odvahu, abych dal vše do vět. To se tentokrát změnilo. Důvod vlastně ani žádný není, jen jsem dostal chuť se s vámi podělit o své dojmy z nové nahrávky.
Kapela pokračuje ve své morbidní jízdě. Poprvé se živým bubeníkem, který odvedl skvělou práci. Pokud se vám líbí blasfemický přístup, neváhejte ani chvilku, dostanete poctivou porci war metalu jak vystřiženou ze starých učebnic. To vše zahrané z absolutním odhodláním, s touhou zabíjet hudbou i se zvukem, který vám prostřeli náboj hlavou. Určitě si prostudujte i texty, rozhodně stojí za to. A ano, jasně, že jsou ovlivněny současnou hnusnou válkou.
Pokaždé, když tohle album poslouchám, tak mám pocit, že opravdu stojím v nějakém zlověstném lese. Kolem mě je jenom tma a chlad. Běžím a do tváří mě šlehají větve. Jsem sám, jenom já a hudba, užívám si veškerou bolest, strach i surovost, která je v ní obsažena. Tohle je deska, která je zahraná od srdce, opravdově, velmi uvěřitelně a autenticky. Nic pro slabé povahy, jedná se spíše o smršť, o děsivé tsunami, které k nám přišlo z těch nejtemnějších koutů podsvětí. Jednou se všichni budeme smažit v pekle. Než se tak ale stane, můžeme se nechat obejmout nihilismem, mysticizmem i krutou přírodou. HATE FOREST znovu definují hněv a nenávist. A dělají to s elegancí a takovou tou pradávnou bestialitou. Kolem nás jsou už jenom lži a jed, který jsme si sami vytvořili. Tohle je negace všeho dobrého, už neexistuje žádné světlo. Rozhřešení nikdo z vás nedostane, s tím počítejte. Skladby jsou napsány velmi dobře, mají v sobě drive a velkou sílu. Přikovou vás na zeď, navěky proklejí a nakonec roztrhají na kusy. Kapela opět potvrdila svůj status a smetla nás z povrchu zemského svými blastbeaty, chaosem i šílenstvím. Nezbývá nic jiného, než vám album doporučit. Tohle je tak zničující materiál, že vám po něm zůstane v hlavě hodně hluboká krvavá stopa. Každý z nás v sobě máme něco děsivého, zvířecího. Třetí a poslední kapitola trilogie zahrnující "Sowing With Salt" a "Justice" byla uzavřena. Nihilistická, mrazivě krvavá black metalová ofenziva! Krutost se zde potkává s chladem a absolutním vztekem!

We all have something scary, animal inside of us. It's up to the situation and the conditions to let our darker instincts come out. When you're lying on the cold ground and you're being hunted, you hide in the shadows to attack yourself. I have been following the Ukrainian HATE FOREST for quite a long time, I just never wrote about them. I've always liked the bestiality and uncompromising attitude about them, I've just never mustered the courage to put it all into sentences. That's changed this time. There's no reason really, I just got the urge to share my impressions of the new record.
The band continues its morbid ride. For the first time with a live drummer who did a great job. If you like the blasphemic approach, don't hesitate a moment, you'll get a fair portion of war metal as cut from the old textbooks. All played with absolute determination, with a desire to kill with the music and the sound that will shoot a bullet through your head. Be sure to check out the lyrics as well, definitely worth it. And yes, of course they are influenced by the current ugly war.
Every time I listen to this album, I feel like I'm really standing in some kind of sinister forest. There's nothing but darkness and coldness around me. I'm running and branches are whipping my cheeks. I'm alone, just me and the music, enjoying all the pain, fear and rawness that it contains. This is a record that is played from the heart, very real, very believable and authentic. Nothing for the faint of heart, this is more of a whirlwind, a terrifying tsunami that has come to us from the darkest corners of the underworld. One day we will all roast in hell. But before that happens, we can let ourselves be embraced by nihilism, mysticism and the cruelty of nature. HATE FOREST redefines anger and hatred. And they do it with elegance and that ancient bestiality. We are surrounded only by lies and poison of our own making. This is the negation of all that is good, there is no light anymore. No one will get absolution, count on it. The songs are written very well, they have drive and great power. They'll nail you to the wall, damn you forever and finally tear you apart. The band has once again confirmed their status and swept us off the face of the earth with their blastbeats, mayhem and madness. There is nothing else to do but to recommend the album to you. This is such devastating material that it will leave a very deep bloody mark on your mind. We all have something terrifying, animal inside of us. It just depends on the situation and the conditions if we let our dark instincts come out. When you're lying on the cold ground and you're being hunted, you hide in the shadows to attack yourself. The third and final chapter of the trilogy including "Sowing With Salt" and "Justice" has concluded. A nihilistic, freezing, bloody black metal offensive! Cruelty meets coldness and absolute rage!
