Utíkáš temným lesem a větve tě šlehají do tváře. Nohy máš od krve a představuješ si, jak ti zabodává nůž do zad. Cítíš, vnímáš strach i bolest. Nechceš umřít, ne, teď ještě ne. Netušíš, kde by mohl být. Snad někde ve ve stínu, ukrytý s ostrým nožem. Ozve se další výkřik. Dostal další. Je to lovec, predátor, který nezná slitování. Nejdřív to vypadalo jako napínavá zábava. Jenže potom se všechno změnilo v reálný, krutý a děsivý horor. Éterem zní nová nahrávka francouzských death metalistů DISFUNERAL a chlad ti už dávno pronikl do morku kostí.
Přesně takhle si představuji dobře zahraný death metal. Ve starém stylu, s velmi dobrým, chladným a čitelným zvukem, se spoustou zajímavých nápadů. Špinavost a prašivina se zde potkává s tmou a chladem. Je to moje druhé setkání s kapelou a opravdu ve mě evokuje vzpomínky na staré hororové filmy, které jsme kdysi sledovali na kazetách VHS.
Opět se jedná o velmi kvalitní, uvěřitelný, reálný a skvěle zahraný materiál z těch nejtemnějších katakomb. Jsou zde uložena těla, která byla pitvána těmi nejšílenějšími patology. Nápady jsou volně inspirovány jak legendárními AUTOPSY nebo DEATH, tak i švédskou death metalovou školou (ENTOMBED, GRAVE). Pokud se vám líbí, co v současnosti hrají třeba takoví SLAUGHTERDAY nebo CARNAL SAVAGERY, potom jste zde správně. Doporučuji poslouchat s volume doprava, na samé hraně bolesti, nejlépe v temné a studené místnosti. V těchto momentech vynikne nové album "In Horror, Reborn" nejvíce. Líbí se mi nejen způsob, jakým tihle francouzští tmáři ke své morbidní práci přistupují. Skladby v jejich podání mají navíc drive, pradávnou sílu, touhu ničit hudbou. Když novinku poslouchám, tak si představuji, že vznikla ve staré márnici, po shlédnutí několika hororových filmů. Má v sobě takový ten heavy efekt, který se dle mého nedá naučit. Musíte jej mít v sobě. Musíte hrát od srdce. A DISFUNERAL tohle všechno umí na výbornou. Ostré riffy řežou tou správnou stranou nože, vokál je nasáklý chorobami a bicí vám vystřelí mozek z hlavy. No řekněte, co si může víc starý pes jako já přát? Pánové sice nepřinášejí nic nového, ani převratného, ale rozhodně se nejedná jen o dobře odvedené řemeslo. Naopak, novinka má v sobě něco zlého, zákeřného, děsivého. Jako dobrý film, jako pohřeb do země. Utíkám temným lesem a větve mě šlehají do tváře. Ozve se další výkřik. Exhumace starých prokletých death metalových hrobů! Márnice vydala další morbidní svědectví!

This is exactly how I imagine well played death metal. In the old style, with a very good, cold and clear sound, with a lot of interesting ideas. Dirty and dirty meets dark and cold. This is my second encounter with the band and it really evokes memories of old horror movies we used to watch on VHS tapes.
Once again, this is very high quality, believable, real and well acted material from the darkest catacombs. There are bodies here that have been dissected by the craziest pathologists. The ideas are loosely inspired by the legendary AUTOPSY or DEATH, as well as the Swedish death metal school (ENTOMBED, GRAVE). If you like what the likes of SLAUGHTERDAY or CARNAL SAVAGERY are playing these days, then you've come to the right place. I recommend listening with the volume right, at the very edge of pain, preferably in a dark and cold room. These are the moments where the new album "In Horror, Reborn" stands out the most. I like not only the way these French darkies approach their morbid work. Their songs have extra drive, an ancient power, a desire to destroy with music. When I listen to the new music, I imagine it was made in an old morgue, after watching a few horror movies. It has this heavy effect that I don't think can be taught. You have to have it in you. You have to play from the heart. And DISFUNERAL does all that very well. The sharp riffs cut with the right side of the knife, the vocals are soaked with disease and the drums will blow your brains out. Well, tell me, what more could an old dog like me want? The gents may not bring anything new or groundbreaking, but it's definitely not just a craft well done. On the contrary, the novelty has something evil, insidious, terrifying about it.
