Hostina může začít. Podávají se jen ty nejvybranější kousky masa. Kuchař se usmívá a vy popíjíte drahé víno. Všem je tak nějak dobře na duši i na těle. Osmažený mozek, ledvinky, maso od kosti. Máte plné břicho a chybí snad už jenom hudba, která by dotvořila tento silný a zajímavý zážitek. Vyšla nová deska maniaků BONE GNAWER, pronese někdo do ticha. Zapnete play a užíváte si syrové death metalové melodie. Co na tom, že kvůli téhle hostině muselo zemřít několik lidí. Maso bylo dobré, to nepopřete.
Rogga Johansson je nikdy nekončící studnicí na chladné melodie a ostré riffy. Tentokrát je vše zahalené do gore atmosféry. Pokud tuhle smečku znáte tak dobře jako já, tak víte, co od ní očekávat. Nahrubo nasekanou tmu, zlo a zkaženou krev. A také trošku toho elegantního kanibalismu.
Je to již deset let, co jsem měli s touhle smečkou čest naposledy. Ani po tak dlouhé době neztratila na své síle. Kdo Roggův rukopis znáte a dovedete u všech těch jeho kapel a projektů rozlišit jednotlivé nuance a odstíny, budete určitě spokojeni. Novinka je určena hlavně pro vás. Vy ostatní, kterým přijde jeho hudba stále stejná nebo přinejmenším velmi podobná, utíkejte pryč. BONE GNAWER patří, dle mého skromného úsudku, k tomu lepšímu, co tento švédský maniak vytvořil. Také by se dalo napsat, že jsem i letos rád přijal pozvánku na tuhle morbidní hostinu a novu nahrávku si opravdu užívám. Neznám totiž nic lepšího, než přijít domů z práce, pohodlně se usadit, zapnout play a zmizet alespoň na nějaký čas z tohoto podivného světa. Melodie jsou zde chladné a syrové, jako ruka čerstvě uleželé mrtvoly. Bicí zabíjejí na potkání a vokál je stále nasáklý pradávnými chorobami. Rogga a Kam Lee se s tím moc nepářou a je to jen a jen dobře. Líbí se mi motiv na obalu, perfektní zvuk (Jonny Pettersson - mixing, mastering). Zkrátka a dobře, moje mysl je po poslechu vždy čistá a propláchnutá kyselinou. Možná se jednou stanu také obětí a pokrmem na nějaké zvrácené hostině, ale než se tak stane, budu si nadále album "Idioms of Gore" rvát pod tlakem do hlavy. Myslím, že nemusím nic dalšího dodávat. Berte a nebo nechte být! Vítejte na další morbidní death metalové hostině šílených kanibalů! Podáváno je jen to nejkvalitnější maso!

Someone breaks the silence and says that a new album by the maniacs BONE GNAWER has been released. You press play and enjoy the raw death metal melodies. So what if several people had to die for this feast. The meat was good, you can't deny that.
Rogga Johansson is a never-ending source of cold melodies and sharp riffs. This time, everything is shrouded in a gory atmosphere. If you know this band as well as I do, you know what to expect from them. Roughly chopped darkness, evil, and rotten blood. And also a little bit of elegant cannibalism.
It's been ten years since I last had the honor of listening to this band. Even after such a long time, it hasn't lost any of its power. Those of you who are familiar with Rogg's style and can distinguish the individual nuances and shades in all of his bands and projects will definitely be satisfied. This new release is mainly intended for you. The rest of you, who find his music to be the same or at least very similar, run away. In my humble opinion, BONE GNAWER is one of the better things this Swedish maniac has created. I could also write that I was happy to accept the invitation to this morbid feast again this year and that I am really enjoying the new recording. I know of nothing better than coming home from work, settling down comfortably, pressing play, and disappearing from this strange world for at least a little while. The melodies here are cold and raw, like the hand of a freshly laid corpse. The drums kill on sight, and the vocals are still steeped in ancient diseases. Rogga and Kam Lee don't mess around, and that's a good thing. I like the cover art and the perfect sound (Jonny Pettersson - mixing, mastering). In short, after listening to it, my mind is always clear and flushed with acid. Maybe one day I'll also become a victim and a dish at some perverted feast, but until that happens, I'll continue to blast the album "Idioms of Gore" into my head. I don't think I need to add anything else. Take it or leave it! Welcome to another morbid death metal feast of crazy cannibals! Only the highest quality meat is served!
