Na počátku byl chaos. Velký třesk a pak chvíle ticha. Dovedu si představit, že potom následoval první riff. Druhé album australských maniaků PLASMODIUM by se do této chvíle hodilo. Když jsem si nahrávku "Towers of Silence" pustil poprvé, nechápal jsem ji. Nechápu ji dodnes. Je na mě příliš šílená, klaustrofobická.
Nemám se čeho chytit, nepobírám všechnu tu změť chaotických riffů. Chvílemi sice na povrch vypluje démonická pasáž, ale ihned je stržena do hlubin. Ambientní plochy se střídají s disharmoniemi. Nelíbí se mi to a zároveň mě deska přitahuje. Je to zvláštní pocit a divný poslech. Jedovatý black metalový vokál vše jen podtrhuje.
Jakoby mě někdo zavřel do obrovské nádoby a hodil do vody. Dívám se na celé tohle úchylné, avantgardní divadlo a připadám si jako návštěvník, který přiletěl na jinou planetu. Různé ruchy, šramot, šeptání mají vytvořit atmosféru. PLASMODIUM jsou velmi těžcí na poslech, málokdo je pochopí. Odmysleme si muzikanty, kteří hledají nové obzory, odmysleme si pozéry, kteří budou desku poslouchat proto, že jí nerozumí a myslím, že příliš fanoušků nezůstane. Možná se mýlím, ale těžko zařaditelné kapely nemívají davy pod pódiem. "Towers of Silence" je každopádně albem, ke kterému se vracet nebudu. Po setkáních bývám vyděšený a bojím se, aby se mi nespustil záchvat epilepsie. Hudba je pro mě skoro nerozluštitelná, nepříjemná a jde z ní strach. Asi to bude celé účelem, možná někdo podobné šílenství rád a s chutí ocení, ale já k nim patřit nebudu. Nechci se topit, nechci, aby mě bolely uši. Ale je to jen na vás. Třeba jste naladěni jinak než já. Víc myslím dodávat netřeba. Hudba mluví sama za sebe. Psychedelie, temnota, chaos!

Poisonous black metal vocals only underline everything.
It was as if someone had locked me in a huge container and threw me into the water. I look at all this perverse, avant-garde theater and feel like a visitor who has flown to another planet. Various noises, rumble, whispering are supposed to create an atmosphere. PLASMODIUM are very difficult to listen to, few people will understand. Let's think of musicians looking for new horizons, think of the posers who will listen to the record because they don't understand it and I don't think there will be too many fans left. I may be wrong, but hard-to-class bands don't have crowds under the stage. "Towers of Silence" is an album to which I will not return. After meetings, I tend to be scared and afraid that I will have a seizure of epilepsy. The music is almost indecipherable to me, unpleasant and scary. It will probably be the whole purpose, maybe someone will gladly and happily appreciate such madness, but I will not be one of them. I don't want to drown, I don't want my ears to hurt. But it's up to you. Maybe you're in a different mood than me. I think there is no need to supply more. The music speaks for itself. Psychedelia, darkness, chaos!
