Někteří z nás se narodí a mají mrtvý pohled. Jakoby život utíkal kolem nich. Bez emocí, bez naděje. Jedinou jistotou je smrt a cesta k ní je náročná a bolestivá. Těšíme se, až za sebou zavřeme bránu do záhrobí a budeme pokračovat na druhé straně. S novým albem "Lifeless Birth" ve sluchátkách, postupujeme pomalu kupředu. Podél cesty leží vybělené kosti hříšníků. Tohle je death metal, který vás přenese na onen svět, do země nekonečných stínů. Starý, poctivý, skvěle složený i zahraný.
Tahle smečka byla vždy odlišná od ostatních. Hrají sice tradičně, postaru, ale zároveň do svých skladeb vkládají zajímavé a neotřelé motivy. Stačí mi tedy pokaždé několik prvních poslechů a i kdybych nevěděl, že se jedná o NECROT, poznal bych je. Mají svůj jasný a nezaměnitelný rukopis. Ten mi samozřejmě dělá velmi dobře na mé zkažené duši. Koneckonců, jinak bych ani to téhle kapele nepsal.
Jsou kapely, které mají smrtící kov v genech. Pozná se to podle mrtvolného puchu, který se začne rozlézat kolem reproduktorů pokaždé, když zapnu play. Zvuk je náležitě prašivý a masivní. Je ozvěnou z těch nejtemnějších katakomb (Greg Wilkinson - recording, Brad Boatright - mastering). Fanoušky určitě potěší i démon na obalu, kterého při poslechu určitě také potkáte (autorem je Marald van Haasteren). Líbí se mi i určitý neklid, taková ta těžko definovatelná patina, které ze songů doslova odkapávají. Jako zkažená krev z čerstvě proříznutého vředu. NECROT se stále pohybují ve stejných oblastech jako jejich kolegové DEATH, PESTILENCE, BOLT THROWER, OBITUARY, MERCYLESS, IMMOLATION, INCANTATION, EXHUMED, MORGOTH, UNLEASHED, ATHEIST. A dělají to velmi zkušeně a elegantně. Opět se potvrzuje, že i cesta může být cílem. Sleduji kalifornské maniaky od jejich počátků a jejich vývoj je strhující. Každé album je po okraj narvané skvělými nápady, které vás doslova zmasakrují. Novinka není výjimkou. Jen potvrdila velmi dobrou formu těchto hrobníků. Narodíme se v bolestech a někteří z nás se toulají světem bez cíle. Stávají se postupně nemrtvými, démony. Jsem moc rád, že ještě existují smečky, které se snaží starý prašivý death metal posouvat, přidávat do něj své vlastní ingredience. Letos je na nahrávce opět velká porce pochmurných, divokých emocí. "Lifeless Birth" je albem, které se vám doslova zadře do podvědomí. Alespoň mě se to tak stalo. Nelze jinak než doporučit všem, kteří tento styl uctívají. A nejen jim. Někteří z nás se narodí a mají mrtvý pohled. Jakoby život utíkal kolem nich. Bez emocí, bez naděje. Jedinou jistotou je smrt a cesta k ní je náročná a bolestivá. Smrtící ozvěny z těch nejtemnějších chodeb podzemí! Hnilobné melodie potřísněné zkaženou krví!

This pack has always been different from the rest. They play traditional, old-fashioned, but at the same time they put interesting and new themes into their songs. So it only takes me the first few listens each time and even if I didn't know it was NECROT, I would recognize them. They have their clear and unmistakable signature. This, of course, does a lot of good to my wicked soul. After all, otherwise I wouldn't even be writing this to this band.
There are bands that have the deadly metal in their genes. You can tell by the dead smell that starts wafting around the speakers every time I turn on the play. The sound is appropriately dusty and massive. It echoes from the darkest of catacombs (Greg Wilkinson - recording, Brad Boatright - mastering). Fans will also be pleased by the demon on the cover, which you will also definitely meet while listening (by Marald van Haasteren). I also like a certain restlessness, a kind of hard-to-define patina that literally drips from the songs. Like rotten blood from a freshly cut ulcer. NECROT are still in the same realms as their peers DEATH, PESTILENCE, BOLT THROWER, OBITUARY, MERCYLESS, IMMOLATION, INCANTATION, EXHUMED, MORGOTH, UNLEASHED, ATHEIST. And they do it very skilfully and elegantly. Once again it is confirmed that the journey can be the destination. I've been following the Californian maniacs since their early days and their evolution is captivating. Each album is packed to the brim with great ideas that will literally slaughter you. The new album is no exception. It just confirmed the very good form of these gravediggers. We are born in pain and some of us wander the world without a destination. They gradually become undead, demons. I'm so glad there are still packs out there trying to push the old dusty death metal, adding their own ingredients to it. This year's record again has a big portion of gloomy, wild emotions. "Lifeless Birth" is an album that literally burrows into your subconscious. At least it did for me. I can't help but recommend it to anyone who worships this style. And not only to them. Some of us are born and have a dead stare. It's as if life is passing them by. No emotion, no hope. The only certainty is death, and the road to it is difficult and painful. Deadly echoes from the darkest corridors of the underworld! Rotten melodies stained with corrupted blood!
