Slyšte příběhy o starých královstvích, o temnotě, o zlu, o válkách. Vydejte se spolu s polskými válečníky na dlouhou cestu bez konce. Do země nekonečných stínů. Přibylo trošku black metalu, skladby jsou ještě víc propracovanější, majestátnější. Kapele HATE nelze ani letos upřít perfektní přístup, skvělý zvuk, spoustu zajímavých nápadů. Osobně mi sice trošku vadí, že nejsou skladby divočejší, živočišnější, ale to je jen můj názor. Koneckonců, každá recenze je jen subjektivním názorem, ovlivněným tím, co člověk poslouchá a co mu koluje v krvi.

Pánové hrají zkrátka trošku jinou odrůdu death a black metalu, než mám rád. To je ale můj problém. Troufám si tvrdit, že nové album "Bellum Regiis" osloví velkou spoustu fanoušků. A to i mimo stylové hranice, které nám tento černý a smrtící styl jasně definují. Poláci se nadále zdokonalují, umí napsat zajímavé motivy a album sedí krásně pohromadě i jako celek.

Vyvolávané nálady jsou samozřejmě zbarvené do černých odstínů, zazní i ženský vokál, symfonizace. Jen si občas říkám, jestli by neměly být některé motivy trošku kratší. Nechápejte mě špatně, ale songy by byly tím pádem důzraznější a ostřejší. Jinak jsou samozřejmě všichni muzikanti velmi taletovaní, skvěle ovládají svoje nástroje a zároveň umí napsat dobré songy. Svým způsobem je nové album k dokonalosti vybroušeným drahokamem. Jen občas létají moje myšlenky někde jinde, když novinku poslouchám. Chybí mi víc tlaku, energie, takové té špíny, kterou mívám u podobných skupin tolik rád. Nová nahrávka je zkrátka určena pro posluchače třeba takových VADER, BEHEMOTH, SEPTIC FLESH, GORGOROTH, BELPHEGOR. Což je samozřejmě v nejlepším pořádku. Na "Bellum Regiis" zkrátka musím mít náladu. Přirovnal bych je k hororovým filmům. Jsou takové, které mají skvělou kameru, režii, zvuk i nápad, akorát se jich nebojíte. A potom jsou zde snímky, které jsou nedokonalé, obyčejné a krve by se ve vás po zhlédnutí nedořezal. Zkrátka a dobře, nové album je deskou, u které jsem nechtěl, aby na mých stránkách chyběla. Poslouchá se velmi dobře, je přístupná, leze sama do hlavy. Jen po ní nezůstává tak hluboká krvavá stopa jako po jiných. To bude ale spíš můj soukromý problém, jsem zkrátka jinak nastaven a i v historii jsem věřil spíše v jiné kapely. Pokud ale chcete tajemný, chladný a velmi dobře zahraný black death metal, tak neváhejte ani chvilku, budete určitě spokojeni. Majestátní, chladná pocta starodávným stínům! Black death metalové inferno!

A bit of black metal has been added, the songs are even more elaborate, more majestic. The band HATE can't be denied their perfect approach, great sound, lots of interesting ideas. Personally, I'm a bit bothered that the songs are not wilder, more animalistic, but that's just my opinion. After all, every review is just a subjective opinion, influenced by what a person listens to and what runs in his blood.

In short, the gentlemen play a slightly different variety of death and black metal than I like. But that's my problem. I dare to say that the new album "Bellum Regiis" will appeal to a lot of fans. And even beyond the stylistic boundaries that clearly define this black and deadly style for us. The Poles continue to improve, they can write interesting themes and the album fits beautifully together as a whole.

The moods evoked are of course coloured in black shades, there are also female vocals and symphonisation. I just sometimes wonder if some of the motifs should be a bit shorter. Don't get me wrong, but the songs would be more emphatic and sharper as a result. Otherwise, of course, all the musicians are very talented, they have a great command of their instruments and can write good songs at the same time. In a way, the new album is a gem polished to perfection. Only sometimes my thoughts fly somewhere else when I listen to the new album. I miss more pressure, energy, that kind of dirt that I like so much in similar bands. The new record is simply for listeners of VADER, BEHEMOTH, SEPTIC FLESH, GORGOROTH, BELPHEGOR. Which is of course in the best order. I simply have to be in the mood for "Bellum Regiis". I would compare them to horror movies. There are some that have great cinematography, direction, sound and ideas, as long as you're not scared of them. And then there are films that are imperfect, ordinary, and wouldn't make your blood boil after watching them. In short, the new album is a record I didn't want to be missing from my pages. It's very easy to listen to, it's accessible, it climbs into your head on its own. It just doesn't leave as deep a trail of blood as others. But that's more my personal problem, I'm just differently set and even in history I believed in other bands. But if you want mysterious, cold and very well played black death metal, don't hesitate a moment, you will be satisfied. A majestic, cold tribute to the ancient shadows! Black death metal inferno!
