Rakve jsou opět prázdné. Těla zmizela a zůstal po nich jenom děsivý pach smrti. Chladné kobky, hluboko v podzemí, vydaly další ze svých svědectví. Na zdech žhnou do tmy tajemné symboly. Jinak je všude klid a ticho. Zatím. Procházím se dlouhými chodbami podsvětí a cítím ve vzduchu pach rozkládajícího se masa. Někde tu musí být, přece není možné, aby se jen tak ztratila. Nejdřív je to jen jako lehké bodnutí, ale po chvilce je mi prokousnuto hrdlo a jsem roztrhán na kusy. Nemrtvými a plesnivým death metalem, který nám letos přinášejí finští tmáři DEATHGOAT.

Druhé dlouhohrající album je opět po okraj narváno tím, co mám na tomhle stylu tolik rád. Nahrubo nasekanou tmou, ostrými riffy, starodávnými chorobami i zlem, které je vytaženo na povrch. Kosti jsou lámány s elegancí a nadšením, maso odpadává od kostí. Myslím si, že jsem zde správně. Nezbývá mi nic jiného, než přidat hlasitost.

Jedna mrtvola tu ale přeci jen zůstala. Drží v ruce nové CD "Dragged into Realms Below". Nejde jí ho vytrhnout z rukou. Mám pocit, že mě sleduje. Posadí se a z tváří jí lezou červi. Krve by se ve mě nedořezal. Tohle je opravdu hudba pro všechny pravověrné, pro fanoušky, kteří stále věří v pohřby do země, pro maniaky, kteří dokáží ocenit poctivý zvuk (Jaakko Viitalähde - mastering), povedený černobílý obal (Bram Bruyneel). Vše krásně morbidně sedí na svých místech a vy si tak můžete vychutnat morbidní, podmanivě shnilou atmosféru celé nahrávky. Skladby jsou napsány velmi dobře, uvěřitelně a obsahují v sobě velké množství pradávné síly a energie. Opravdu si při poslechu připadám jako starý hrobník, který po několika nocích v márnici sestoupil dolů do sklepa a hledá zmizelé mrtvoly. Fanoušci třeba takových DISMEMBER, ENTOMBED, VOMITORY, PURTENANCE, SLUGATHOR, WOMBBATH, mi určitě má slova potvrdí. Těmi se Finové volně inspirovali. Přidali navíc své vlastní ingredience i nápady a výsledný koktejl je podáván podchlazený a na dřevěném víku od rakve. Nechte si chutnat, přátelé starých pohřebišť. Venku se zase setmělo a vypadá to na bouřku. Omlouvám se, musím jít. Mám ještě nějakou práci. Beru do rukou lopatu a ještě, než hřbitov zahalí hustá mlha, exhumuji další hrob. Byla v něm pohřbena hudba těchto maniaků. Novinku vám rozhodně doporučuji. Rakve jsou opět prázdné. Těla zmizela a zůstal po nich jenom děsivý pach smrti. Exhumace starého prašivého death metalového hrobu, provedená s elegancí starých hrobníků a s touhou zabíjet hudbou! Márnice vydala další děsivé svědectví!

The coffins are empty once again. The bodies have disappeared, leaving behind only the terrifying stench of death. The cold dungeons, deep underground, have revealed another of their secrets. Mysterious symbols glow in the darkness on the walls. Otherwise, everything is calm and quiet. For now. I walk through the long corridors of the underworld and smell the scent of decaying flesh in the air. It must be here somewhere; it can't just have disappeared. At first, it's just a slight sting, but after a moment, my throat is bitten through and I am torn to pieces. By the undead and moldy death metal brought to us this year by the Finnish dark lords DEATHGOAT.

Their second full-length album is once again packed to the brim with everything I love about this style. Roughly chopped darkness, sharp riffs, ancient diseases and evil brought to the surface. Bones are broken with elegance and enthusiasm, flesh falls off the bones. I think I'm in the right place. All I can do is turn up the volume.

But one corpse remained. It is holding the new CD "Dragged into Realms Below" in its hand. It is impossible to take it away from it. I feel like it is watching me. It sits down and worms crawl out of its face. My blood runs cold. This is truly music for all true believers, for fans who still believe in burials in the ground, for maniacs who can appreciate honest sound (Jaakko Viitalähde - mastering) and a well-done black-and-white cover (Bram Bruyneel). Everything fits beautifully and morbidly in its place, allowing you to enjoy the morbid, captivatingly rotten atmosphere of the entire recording. The songs are very well written, believable, and contain a great deal of ancient power and energy. When listening, I really feel like an old gravedigger who, after several nights in the morgue, has descended into the cellar in search of missing corpses. Fans of bands such as DISMEMBER, ENTOMBED, VOMITORY, PURTENANCE, SLUGATHOR, and WOMBBATH will certainly confirm my words. The Finns were loosely inspired by them. They added their own ingredients and ideas, and the resulting cocktail is served ice cold on a wooden coffin lid. Enjoy, friends of old graveyards.
