Jak dlouho bude ještě žít, než vykrvácí? Včera sis přinesl úplně novou motorovou pilu. Musel sis ji hned vyzkoušet. Stále nechápu, proč už mě nezabiješ? Necháváš mě, abych viděl všechna zvěrstva, hnus, kterých si schopen. Kdybys mě pustil, zabil bych tě také. Žádný soud si nezasloužíš. Tváříš se jako chirurg, jako nějaký slavný patolog. Jenže si jen obyčejný řezník a ještě k tomu špatný. Jsi ohavný a zasloužíš si jenom prokletí. Včera jsi chytil další oběť. Nechci se na to dívat, nemůžu potom spát. Mám noční můry.
Darren Cesca je brutální technický death metalový maniak, který letos přichází se svojí druhou nahrávkou. Když si ji poslechnete, tak si budete opravdu připadat jako hrdina dnešního úvodu. Veškerá hudba je zde násilná, maniakální, surová a nekompromisní. Přesto v sobě obsahuje velké množství zajímavých a neotřelých nápadů. Pokud tedy rádi navštěvujete stará jatka, patologii a nebo jen s chutí sledujete hororové filmy, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Krev poteče proudem!
Darren Cesca si získal spoustu příznivců, když hrál na bicí v kapelách jako GORATORY, ESCHATON, DEEDS OF FLESH. Pokud máte rádi tvorbu těchto smeček (a navíc se vám líbí třeba CANNIBAL CORPSE, IN ASYMMETRY, INCINERATE), určitě si pochutnáte i novém albu "Surge Of Cruelty". Je to totiž přesně taková ta propracovaná, velmi dobře zahraná a složená odrůda masakrujícího kovu smrti, u které budete přemýšlet, zároveň se kývat do rytmu, abyste nakonec začali hledat sekáček na maso. Na novém albu se objeví i spousta zajímavých hostů. Seznam naleznete dole pod dnešní recenzí a za sebe mohu jen dodat, že všichni odvedli perfektní práci. Zmínit musím ještě jednu věc. Většina současných brutálních kapel mě příliš neoslovuje. Připadá mi až příliš zaměřená jen na technický výkon a většinou mívá i plastový, umělý zvuk. U CYTOLYSIS to ale neplatí, naopak, Darrenovi se povedlo dostat do nové nahrávky živočišnost, uvěřitelnost a autenticitu. Poslouchat nové album je jako se dívat na veřejnou pitvu. Vše je náležitě syrové, ohavné. Připadám si, jako bych navštívil nějakou morbidní galerii smrti. Jsou v ní vystavena mrtvá těla v různých nechutných pozicích. Album ve mě zkrátka probouzí spoustu emocí, nenechává mě ani na chvilku v klidu. O formálních věcech, jako je zvuk, produkce a motiv na obalu (Vladimir Cebakov (Six Feet Under, 1914, DeadHead etc.)), netřeba diskutovat, Darren je natolik zkušený muzikant, že si na vše dal pozor a výsledkem je po technické stránce víceméně dokonalá nahrávka. Psychotická, nekompromisní, surová, krvavá brutální death metalová pitva! Hnisavý proces syrového, čerstvě naporcovaného masa byl zahájen!

Darren Cesca is a brutal technical death metal maniac who is releasing his second album this year. When you listen to it, you'll really feel like the hero of today's introduction. All the music here is violent, maniacal, raw, and uncompromising. Yet it contains a wealth of interesting and original ideas. So if you like visiting old slaughterhouses, pathology labs, or just enjoy watching horror movies, don't hesitate for a moment. Blood will flow freely!
Darren Cesca gained a lot of fans when he played drums in bands such as GORATORY, ESCHATON, and DEEDS OF FLESH. If you like the work of these bands (and you also like CANNIBAL CORPSE, IN ASYMMETRY, INCINERATE, etc.), you will definitely enjoy the new album "Surge Of Cruelty". It's exactly the kind of sophisticated, well-played, and well-composed variety of brutal death metal that will make you think while nodding to the rhythm, and eventually start looking for a meat cleaver. The new album also features a number of interesting guests. You can find the list below today's review, and I can only add that they all did a perfect job. I have to mention one more thing. Most of today's brutal bands don't appeal to me very much. They seem too focused on technical performance and usually have a plastic, artificial sound. This is not the case with CYTOLYSIS. On the contrary, Darren has managed to bring animalistic energy, credibility, and authenticity to the new recording. Listening to the new album is like watching a public autopsy. Everything is appropriately raw and gruesome. I feel like I'm visiting some kind of morbid death gallery. Dead bodies are displayed in various disgusting positions. The album simply awakens a lot of emotions in me, it doesn't leave me alone for a moment. There is no need to discuss formal matters such as sound, production, and cover art (Vladimir Cebakov (Six Feet Under, 1914, DeadHead, etc.)), as Darren is such an experienced musician that he paid attention to everything, and the result is a technically more or less perfect recording. A psychotic, uncompromising, raw, bloody, brutal death metal autopsy! The purulent process of raw, freshly cut meat has begun!
