Musím překonat strach, abych se vydal dolů, do neznáma. Hluboká jeskyně, která je doslova opředena děsivými legendami. Pod nohama mi křupají kosti mých předchůdců. Po stěnách stéká hnis smíchaný s krví. Ve vzduchu se vznáší pach smrti a bolesti. Možná to nakonec bude pravda a opravdu najdu bestii ze starých časů, o které se říká, že přišla ze samotného pekla. Dívám se do tmy a poslouchám nové album legendárních chilských démonů CANCEBERO. Jedná se o jednu ze zásadních skupin nejen jihoamerické scény, která datuje svůj vznik až do roku 1987.
Pokud si poslechnete celou diskografii téhle smečky, tak zjistíte, že nemají na svém kontě žádné slabší album. Vše je nahráno vždy velmi upřímně, opravdově, uvěřitelně, autenticky. Letošní novinka není výjimkou. Stačí zapnout play a ihned se ocitnete hluboko v podzemí. Budete se, stejně jako já, dívat do té nejčernější tmy a modlit se, aby vám bestie neprokousla hrdlo. Tahle nahrávka má v sobě velkou starodávnou sílu!
Jako bych tančil s vlastními démony na starém pohřebišti. Z plesnivých hrobů vylézají nemrtví, aby se k nám přidali. Mají zohavené tváře, přesto dokáží, stejně jako já, ocenit plenivý zvuk, klasický motiv na obalu, ale hlavně velkou spoustu nápadů, které se vám zadřou pod kůži i do podvědomí. Tohle album je jako výlet po časové ose zpět, do osmdesátých let minulého století, do doby, kdy se na nějakou tu špínu nehledělo a v přehrávačích se nám otáčely kazety. CANCERBERO na to jdou od srdce a to je pro mě věc, kterou na nich velmi oceňuji. Skladby utíkají kupředu v divokých rytmech, mají v sobě velké množství chladu a nahrubo nasekané tmy. Jedná se samozřejmě o ten nejhlubší underground. Pánové nadále nesou hrdě nad hlavou vlajku všech pravověrných. Jsou ortodoxní ze své podstaty a je to jenom dobře. Zhasl jsem všechna světla a nechal se unášet po smradlavé řece Styx. Kolem mě se při poslechu vznášela nafouklá těla mrtvol. A tak nějak podvědomě cítím, vnímám celým svým tělem, že jsem zde správně. "Sempiternal Decay" je albem, které považuji za povedené po všech stránkách. Má v sobě potřebný drive a pradávnou sílu. Vše je zahalené do krvavé mlhy a připomíná ty nejděsivější horory. Opravdu je zde bestie ze starých časů, která touží po další a další krvi. Novinku nelze jinak, než doporučit všem tmářům i všem prokletým. Temné a chladné death metalové album, které je po okraj narvané špínou, zkaženou krví a nahrubo nasekanou tmou! Přízraky ze starého pohřebiště znovu ožívají!

This is one of the fundamental groups not only of the South American scene, which dates its creation back to 1987.
If you listen to the entire discography of this pack, you will find that they have not a single weak album to their credit. Everything is always recorded very honestly, truly, believably, authentically. This year's new release is no exception. Just turn on play and you will immediately find yourself deep underground. You will, like me, stare into the blackest darkness and pray that the beast doesn't bite your throat out. This recording has great ancient power in it!
It's like dancing with my own demons in an old cemetery. The undead are crawling out of moldy graves to join us. They have disfigured faces, yet they can, just like me, appreciate the ravaging sound, the classic motif on the cover, but most importantly, a lot of ideas that will get under your skin and into your subconscious. This album is like a trip down the timeline, to the eighties of the last century, to the time when some dirt was not looked down upon and cassettes were playing in our players. CANCERBERO do it from the heart and that's something I really appreciate about them. The songs run forward in wild rhythms, they have a lot of coldness and rough-hewn darkness in them. This is, of course, the deepest underground. The gentlemen continue to proudly carry the flag of all orthodox believers above their heads. They are orthodox by nature and that's only a good thing. I turned off all the lights and let myself drift along the stinking river Styx. While listening, bloated corpses floated around me. And somehow subconsciously I feel, I perceive with my whole body that I am here in the right place. "Sempiternal Decay" is an album that I consider to be successful in all aspects. It has the necessary drive and ancient power. Everything is shrouded in bloody fog and reminds me of the most terrifying horror films. I have to overcome my fear to go down, into the unknown. A deep cave that is literally covered with terrifying legends. The bones of my predecessors crunch under my feet. Pus mixed with blood flows down the walls. The smell of death and pain floats in the air. I have finally reached my goal. The legends did not lie. There really is a beast from ancient times here, yearning for more and more blood. I cannot help but recommend this new release to all the dark and all the cursed. A dark and cold death metal album that is packed to the brim with filth, rotten blood and rough-hewn darkness! The ghosts of the old graveyard come to life again!
