Kolem téhle hrobky si chodil skoro každý den. Na hřbitově jsou pohřbeni všichni tví předci, kamarádi. Když vstoupíš dovnitř a zavřeš za sebou rezavou bránu, tak tě obejme jako chladné pavučiny nekonečný smutek. Moc dobře víš, že tvoje bolest nikdy neskončí. Dokud budeš chodit po téhle zemi, tak tě budou drásat vzpomínky do krve. Dnes je něco jinak, slyšíš podivný šepot. Otevíráš dveře do hrobky s nápisem ETERNAL MOURN nad vchodem a ztrácíš se v krvavé mlze.
Tahle kapela je složena ze samých zkušených muzikantů, kteří moc dobře vědí, co a jak chtějí hrát. Bubeník Debly a kytarista/zpěvák Gabriel (Black Oath, The Rite, Extirpation) byl později doplněn kytaristou Erosem (Extirpation, Funest) a baskytaristou/zpěvákem Santem (Araphel, Demonomancy). Směr je jasně nastaven. Do temnoty, do chladu, do toho nejhlubšího podzemí. A to vše za zvuků nového EP, které je odkazem doom death metalových předků.
Sochy, smějící se do ticha. Nakloněné náhrobky, čerstvě exhumované hroby, šepot, ozývající se z márnice. Tohle vše zde naleznete. Zabaleno v masivním, dobře čitelném a řezajícím zvuku, opatřeno stylovým obalem. Skladby v sobě obsahují potřebnou dávku pochmurných, smutných emocí. Jsou dobře napsány a složeny. Mají v sobě pradávný drive a sílu, posbírané na starých prokletých pohřebištích. Pokud máte rádi kapely typu PARADISE LOST, ANATHEMA, OCTOBER TIDE, CEMETARY, KATATONIA, potom jste zde správně. Těmito smečkami se Italové volně inspirovali a přidali spoustu svých vlastních nápadů a invence. Líbí se mi, jak si kapela hraje s emocemi, jak kolem mě nejdřív jednotlivé songy plynou, jak se stávají postupně z kulisy i mojí vlastní zkaženou krví. Jedná se sice jen o tři nové skladby, ale také příslib do budoucna. Už teď se těším na dlouhohrající album, které doufám brzy přijde. Zatím se zavírám do staré opuštěné hrobky a rozmlouvám s nemrtvými. Na kamenných oltářích leží zpuchřelá těla v různém stádiu rozkladu. Přemýšlím, co po nás vlastně nakonec zbude? Naše duše budou proklety a budou navěky bloudit mezi naším a oním světem. Z nového EP "Winds of Sorrow" cítím velmi podobný neklid. Navíc si jednotlivé motivy pamatuji a rád se k nim vracím. Myslím si, že pánové odvedli skvělou morbidní práci po všech stránkách. Kolem téhle hrobky chodím skoro každý den. Na hřbitově jsou pohřbeni všichni mí předci, kamarádi. Pochmurný, drásavý, chladný a nekonečně temný doom death metal, u kterého potkáte své vlastní démony! Definice smutku a utrpení!

You used to walk past this tomb almost every day. All your ancestors and friends are buried in this cemetery. When you step inside and close the rusty gate behind you, endless sorrow envelops you like cold cobwebs. You know all too well that your pain will never end. As long as you walk this earth, memories will tear at you until they draw blood. Today, something is different you hear a strange whisper. You open the door to the tomb, with the inscription ETERNAL MOURN above the entrance, and lose yourself in a blood-red fog.
This band is made up entirely of experienced musicians who know exactly what and how they want to play. Drummer Debly and guitarist/vocalist Gabriel (Black Oath, The Rite, Extirpation) were later joined by guitarist Eros (Extirpation, Funest) and bassist/vocalist Santo (Araphel, Demonomancy). The direction is clearly set. Into the darkness, into the cold, into the deepest underworld. And all this to the sounds of their new EP, which pays homage to their doom death metal forebears.
Statues, laughing into the silence. Tilted tombstones, freshly exhumed graves, whispers echoing from the morgue. You’ll find all of this here. Wrapped in a massive, clear, and cutting sound, complete with stylish artwork. The songs contain just the right dose of gloomy, sorrowful emotions. They’re well-written and composed. They possess an ancient drive and power, gathered from old, cursed burial grounds. If you like bands like PARADISE LOST, ANATHEMA, OCTOBER TIDE, CEMETARY, or KATATONIA, then you’ve come to the right place. The Italians drew loose inspiration from these bands and added plenty of their own ideas and creativity. I like how the band plays with emotions, how the individual songs first flow around me, and how they gradually transform from mere background noise into my own tainted blood. Although there are only three new tracks, they also hold promise for the future. I’m already looking forward to a full-length album, which I hope will come out soon. For now, I’m locking myself away in an old, abandoned tomb and conversing with the undead. On the stone altars lie mummified bodies in various stages of decomposition. I wonder what will actually remain of us in the end? Our souls will be cursed and will wander forever between this world and the next. I sense a very similar sense of unease in the new EP, "Winds of Sorrow". What’s more, I remember the individual motifs and enjoy returning to them.
