Nejdřív jsem si myslel, že je to zemětřesení. Náhrobky na hřbitově vysoko v horách se nakláněly na stranu, zvony zvonily na poplach, lidé se křižovaly. Potom nastalo ticho. Dlouhé, bolestivé, nekonečné ticho. Atmosféra by se dala krájet. Zazněl první riff, první old school death metalový motiv. Z márnice. Přeběhl mi mráz po zádech a šel jsem se podívat. Mrtvoly ožily a s vyceněnými zuby se vydaly hledat čerstvou krev.
Hráli nám k tomu francouzští LIQUID FLESH. Kapela, která letos přichází se svým druhým dlouhohrajícím albem "Chair Liquide". Je šílené, temné, prašivé a otevírají se u něj staré hroby. Kapela vás vezme na výlet bez konce. Do záhrobí, do devadesátých let minulého století, kdy se po hřbitovech proháněly jejich vzory.
Sundám první oživlou mrtvolu, useknu ji hlavu lopatou. Jsem starý hrobník, který poslouchá death metal již hodně dlouho. Vybírám si jen pořádně shnilé kousky masa. LIQUID FLESH si mě ihned naklonili na svoji stranu. Prašivým zvukem, atmosférou celé nahrávky, přístupem, ze kterého je cítit, jak je baví tuhle hudbu hrát. Sedím na mramorové desce u jedné hodně staré kobky. Čtu si nápisy na hrobech. Sem album "Chair Liquide" patří a zde vynikne nejlépe. Co na tom, že kapela cituje z notoricky známých staroškolských knih? Pro mě je důležité, že jejich hudbě věřím, užívám si ji a dokáže mě přenést na pohřebiště, kde se pohřbívají jen prokletí. Riffy se vám zadřou pod kůži, bicí rozdrtí kosti. Vokál je nasáklý chorobami a mě nezbývá nic jiného, než zase vzít do ruky krumpáč a jít si vykopat vlastní hrob. Album je jako starý černobílý horor, který kapela přetavila svými skladbami ve skutečnost. Mrtví ožívají, toulají se městem a nejdou znovu zabít. Jedinou možností je přidat volume a roztřískat jim lebky muzikou. "Chair Liquide" je deskou, která je shnilá jako ruka staré mrtvoly! Vítejte v márnici, kde se hraje jen prašivý death metal té nejvyšší kvality! Mrtví již dávno vyhráli nad živými. Stačí se rozhlédnout. Skvělé album!

LIQUID FLESH immediately tilted me to their side. By the dusty sound, the atmosphere of the whole record, by the approach from which you can feel how much they enjoy playing this music. I'm sitting on a marble slab in a very old dungeon. I read the inscriptions on the graves. The album "Chair Liquide" belongs here, where it stands out best. What about the fact that the band quotes from notorious old school books? For me it's important that I trust their music, I enjoy it and it can take me to the burial ground, where only the cursed ones are buried. The riffs get stuck under your skin, the drums crush your bones. The vocals are soaked with diseases and I have no choice but to pick up the pickaxe and go dig my own grave. The album is like an old black and white horror film, that the band turned into reality with their songs. The dead come to life, they roam the city and they cannot be killed again. The only option is to add volume and smash their skulls with this music. "Chair Liquide" is a record that is rotten like the hand of an old corpse! Welcome to the morgue, where only dusty death metal of the highest quality is played! Just look around. Great album!
Ave FOETAL JUICE! Nikde jsem s vámi nenašel žádný rozhovor v češtině. Poprosím tě tedy nejdřív, abys čtenářům, kteří vás ještě neznají, představil kapelu. Můžeš klidně začít úplně od začátku a provést nás celou historií FOETAL JUICE.
Nejprve moc děkuji za skvělé recenze našich posledních dvou alb. Opravdu si toho vážíme. Fetal Juice vznikli roce 2005. Byl to projekt čtyř přátel ze střední školy, kteří byli velmi ovlivněni kapelami jako Gorerotted, Desecration, Vomitory, Entombed, Deicide, Vader, Malevolent Creation, Napalm Death a nejrůznějšími extrémními kapelami. Přišli jsme s názvem Fetal Juice, protože nám bylo zle z toho, že každá kapela bere všechno příliš vážně. Chtěli jsme skládat seriózní hudbu, ale při tom jsme si chtěli užívat vše okolo. Černý humor byl vždy ústředním bodem našich vlivů jako kapely. Během prvních osmi let jsme hledali svůj styl a hráli jsme všude, kde jsme mohli. V té době se nám podařilo nahrát několik demo nahrávek, EP a vydat pár živáků. V roce 2012 jsme nahráli asi deset skladeb, které měly být naším debutovým albem. Opravdu si nepamatuji, co se stalo, ale z nějakého důvodu jsme skončili jen s pěti dokončenými skladbami. Tyto skladby byly nabídnuty ke splitku „A Split Worst Than Death“ s BTK, Zombified, Nailed a Decimation. Toto splitko vyšlo u Grindscene Records a jako výsledek jsme cestovali po Velké Británii a Irsku s Desecration, BTK a Zombified. V roce 2013 jsme nahráli pět skladeb na EP „Big Trouble In Little Vagina“. V tu dobu jsme také dostali pozvání zahrát si náš první velký festival Extremefest v Německu. V roce 2015 jsme vydali split s Human Landfill a vydali naše první video k „Albert Grindstien“. Rok na to jsme byli pozváni hrát na Obscene Extreme a Bloodstock..
Od té doby jsme vydali „Masters of Absurdity“ prostřednictvím Grindscene Records a hráli jsme po celé Evropě, Velké Británii a propagovali album. V roce 2018 odešel náš zpěvák Sam a byl nahrazen dlouholetým přítelem a členem britské black metalové skupiny Burial, stejně jako Wolfbastard, Derek Carley. V roce 2019 jsme hráli po celé Velké Británii a společně s přáteli z BTK se vydali do Portugalska a Španělska. V polovině roku odešel náš basák a byl nahrazen Lewisem Bridgesem z britské thrashové kapely OND. To mi (Robovi) a našemu kytaristovi (Ry) poskytlo příležitost prozkoumat naši techniku psaní a pokusit se být mnohem agresivnějšími, než jsme byli do té doby. Na konci roku 2019 jsme šli do Foel Studia a nahráli „Gluttony“ s Chrisem Fieldingem (Napalm Death, Conan atd.).„Gluttony“ vydali Gorehouse productions dne 12. června 2020. Měli jsme tolik skvělých plánů na propagaci „Gluttony“ v roce 2020, ale stejně jako všem ostatním byly všechny akce a plány na 2020 zrušeny. Naštěstí pro nás byla většina našich koncertů přesunuta do roku 2021. A patří tam : Incineration Fest (UK), Nice to Eat You Deathfest (CZ), Fuck The Commerce (DE), Stonehenge Festival (NL) a samozřejmě nějaké další akce mezi těmito.

Letos jste vydali stále čerstvou novinku „Gluttony“. Opět se jedná o temný, drsný a poctivý death metal. Přistupovali jste k nahrávání jinak než minule nebo jste zvolili ověřené postupy?
Nahrávání probíhalo stejně, jako při předchozím albu. Zarezervujeme si deset dní s Chrisem Fieldingem ve Foel Studiu a snažíme se to co nejrychleji a nejpřesněji nahrát, zatímco deset dní koukáme na naše ksichy a kalíme. Tato kapela byla vždy o užívání si, takže to tak hodláme dělat při každé příležitosti. Obzvláště ve studiu.
Nová deska mi přijde o nějaký řád komplikovanější, zpočátku možná méně přístupná, zároveň ale neskutečně temná a zlá. Byl to záměr? Jak vlastně album vznikalo a jakým způsobem jste skládali muziku?
Myslím, že jsme byli více nasraní, když jsme psali „Gluttony“. V podstatě jsme chtěli napsat nejagresivnější death metalové album, jaké jsme mohli. Veškerou hudbu jsem složil já a Ryan a myslím, že pomohlo být upřímný. Je snazší udělat dojem na jednu osobu, než udělat dojem na čtyři současně. Přidali jsme mnohem více vlivů z různých žánrů, které máme rádi. Na tomto albu je mnohem více grindu, punku a black metalu. Myslím, že já a Ryan pracujeme stylem, kdy se na sebe neustále snažíme udělat dojem. Vždy vidíme, jak daleko se můžeme navzájem posunout. Jsme také navzájem nejpřísnějšími kritiky a myslím, že to jde vidět podle neustálého útoku riffů na albu.
Mám „Gluttony“ ve svém MP3 přehrávači a musím říct, že jsem jím doslova pohlcen. Nejsou to jen skvělé nápady, ale i zvuk, který je jedním slovem devastující. Sedím třeba v tramvaji a najednou se přistihnu, že si podupávám nohou. Mám sto chutí začít pařit. Nebýt už pán v letech, asi bych to i udělal. Kde jste desku nahrávali a kdo je podepsán pod masteringem?
Nahrávali jsme album s Chrisem Fieldingem (Napalm Death, Conan atd.) Ve Foel Studiu. On se také postaral o mix a mastering „Gluttony“. S Chrisem se skvěle pracuje. Opravdu vás dotlačí k tomu, abyste do toho dali těch 10% navíc. Podělí se s vámi také během celého procesu o několik nápadů, což je podle mě opravdu užitečné.
Kdo je autorem textů na „Gluttony“? A o čem pojednávají? Kde pro témata berete inspiraci?
Já a Ryan jsme dali dohromady většinu textů na tomto albu. Ryan napsal pravděpodobně osmdesát procent a Derek se postaral o úpravy textů tak, aby lépe odpovídaly skladbám. Obecným tématem celého alba je v podstatě to, že se díváme na chamtivost a sobectví lidstva. Byli jsme docela inspirováni obecným znechucením ze způsobů všech v dnešní době. To je důvod, proč název „Gluttony“ vystihuje dokonale celé album. Neexistuje jediný člověk, který by nebyl v této vrstvě pekla.
Kdo je podepsán pod obalem novinky „Gluttony“? Jeho práce se mi hodně líbí. Jak jste vůbec motiv na obal vybírali?
Obal byl vytvořen úžasným death metalovým umělcem Robertem Todericem. V minulosti nám kreslil několik designů triček a mysleli jsme si, že by bylo skvělé, kdyby nakreslil i obal alba. V podstatě jsme ho požádali, aby nakreslil svou verzi „Obžerství“ z Danteho pekla. Myslím, že to zvládl skvěle.
Když se ještě podíváme do začátku…Co bylo vlastně tím prvním impulsem, že jste dali dohromady kapelu? A proč zrovna death metal? Není to zrovna styl, který by vám získal velkou „slávu“.
Vždy jsme byli velkými fanoušky death metalu. Je to žánr, který nám dává to největší potěšení při hraní živě. Založení kapely není o „slávě“, bylo to jen o tom, co děláme rádi. Nikdy jsme (a pravděpodobně nikdy nebudeme) vydělávat peníze z této kapely. Každý cent jde rovnou zpět do Foetal Juice. Ať už jde o merch, benzín, nahrávky nebo cokoli jiného, co kapela potřebuje k posunu.
Pocházíte z Británie a hrajete extrémní death metal. Naše čtenáře by určitě zajímalo, jak funguje v Británii death metalová scéna? Abych pravdu řekl, tak poslední dobou od vás slyším jen samé skvělé smečky. Znamená to, že je u vás v současnosti scéna hodně silná? Co třeba koncerty, kolik chodí lidí?
Extrémní metalová scéna jako celek je ve Velké Británii v tuto chvíli skvělá. Je tady tolik dobrých kapel všech žánrů, i když bych řekl, že black metalová nebo slamová scéna ve Velké Británii je rozjetá mnohem víc, než death metalová scéna. Myslím si, že se vše posouvá a stojí za tím ti, co na scéně roky tvrdě dřou. Je jen trochu na hovno, že jakmile máme dostatek talentu, abychom prorazili do Evropy, přijde COVID a Brexit, které zastaví jakýkoli pokrok. (Přinejmenším máme ale neuvěřitelně inteligentního a důvěryhodného muže, který má na starosti zemi a je si jist, že nás provede touto bouří sraček).
Z vaší hudby je cítit, že jste ovlivněni jak americkou death metalovou školou, tak i starými evropskými kapelami. Jak jste na tom jako fanoušci? Máte radši původní death metal devadesátých let nebo čerpáte inspiraci i z nových desek? Pokud ano, zajímalo by mě, které smečky měly/mají na FOETAL JUICE největší vliv.
Myslím, že na nás je dobré to, že jsme ovlivněni všemi druhy extrémní hudby od Dismember, Entombed, Vomitory, Kaamos, At the Gates, Deicide, Cannibal Corspe, Death, Dissection, Immortal, Vader, Insect Warfare, Terrorizer, Desecration, Napalm Death, atd. Řekl bych, že hlavní death metalové vlivy jsou ze starších stylů, ale čerpáme hodně vlivů i z grindu a black metalu. V zásadě naši pozornost upoutá cokoli agresivního. V tuto chvíli jsou to kapely, jako Weigidood a Cryptopsy a Kaamos, které hodně točím.
Co vlastně vy a koncerty obecně? Jste kapelou, která jezdí po koncertech, co to jenom jde nebo si hodně vybíráte? Máte nějaký sen, třeba skupinu, se kterou byste chtěli vyrazit na turné nebo festival, město, kde byste chtěli vystupovat?
Abychom byli upřímní, rádi hrajeme všude, když je to v našich silách. Samozřejmě bychom rádi hráli velké festivaly a jezdili turné, jsme vždy připraveni na jakékoli nabídky, které nám zkříží cestu. Letošní rok by býval byl skvělý, ale těšíme se, až přijedeme do České republiky na Nice To Eat You Death fest a možná i na pár dalších akcí příští rok. Jsme ten typ kapely „pokud si nás zabookujete, tak přijedeme“. Koneckonců prostě rádi hrajeme koncerty a mnohem víc nás to baví, když se opijeme a poté se podíváme na další skvělé kapely.
Jdu si vaši novou desku „Gluttony“ znovu pustit. Musím říct, že pro mě osobně se jedná v podstatě dokonalé death metové dílo. Totální inferno. Přeji vám, aby se nahrávce dařilo, aby se dostala k co největšímu počtu fanoušků. Zaslouží si to. Přeji vám vše nejlepší i v osobním životě. Ať se vám daří a poslední slova jsou tvoje. Pokud chceš něco vzkázat fanouškům, labelům, promotérům, máš prostor. Děkuji za rozhovor a už teď se těším, až vás uvidím někdy naživo!

Ave FOETAL JUICE! I have never found any interview with you in Czech language. I will ask you first to introduce the band to the readers who do not know you yet. You can start from the beginning and take us throw the whole history of FOETAL JUICE.
First of all thanks a lot for your brilliant reviews of our last 2 albums. We really appreciate it.
Foetal Juice started back in 2005. It was a project by 4 friends from high school who were hugely influenced by bands such as: Gorerotted, Desecration, Vomitory, Entombed, Deicide, Vader, Malevolent Creation, Napalm Death and all sort of other extreme bands.
We came up with the name Foetal Juice because we were sick of every band taking everything too seriously. We wanted to write serious music but take the piss out of everything whilst doing it.
Dark humour has always been central to our influences as a band.
Over the first 8 years we were finding our style and playing everywhere we could. In that time we managed to record a few demo’s, an EP and release a couple of live recordings.
In 2012 we recorded about 10 songs that was supposed to be our debut album. I can’t really remember what happened to it but for some reason we only ended up with 5 songs completed. These songs were offered towards “A Split Worst Than Death” with BTK, Zombified, Nailed and Decimation. This split CD was released on Grindscene Records and as a result we toured the UK and Ireland with Desecration, BTK and Zombified.
In 2013 we recorded 5 songs for the “Big Trouble In Little Vagina” EP. Around this time we also got invited to play our first Major Festival, Extremefest in Germany.
In 2015 we released a split with Human Landfill and our first video for “Albert Grindstien.” The next year we were invited to play Obscene Extreme Festival And Bloodstock.
Since then we released “Masters of Absurdity” via Grindscene Records and have played all over Europe and the UK promoting the album.
In 2018 our vocalist Sam stepped down and was replaced by a long time friend, and member of UK black metal band Burial as well as Wolfbastard, Derek Carley.
2019 saw us playing all over the UK and venturing into Portugal and Spain with our friends in BTK. Half way through the year our bass player stepped down and was replaced by Lewis Bridges from UK thrash band OND.
This gave me (Rob) and our guitarist (Ry) the opportunity explore our writing technique and try to go heavier and much more aggressive then we previously have.
At the end of 2019 we went to Foel Studios and recorded “Gluttony” with Chris Fielding (Napalm Death, Conan etc).
“Gluttony” was released by Gorehouse productions on 12 June 2020.
We had so many good plans to promote “Gluttony” in 2020 but like everything for everyone in 2020, these plans were all cancelled.
Luckily for us, the majority of our shows have been pushed forward to 2021. These shows include:

This year, you have just released the new album „Gluttony“. Again, it's a dark, harsh and honest death metal. Did you access to the recording process differently than last time or did you choose verified practices?
Recording wise we pretty much did the same as the previous album. We book 10 days with Chris Fielding at Foel Studios and try to twat it out as quickly and accurately as possible whilst getting throughly shit faced for 10 days.
This band has always been about enjoying yourself so we intend on doing that at every opportunity. Essentially at the studio.
The new album seems to me more complicated, perhaps initially less accessible, at the same time incredibly dark and evil. Was it intentional? How did the album originate and how did you compose the music?
I think we were more pissed off when we were writing “Gluttony.” We basically wanted to write the most aggressive death metal album we could. All of the music was written by me and Ryan and I think that helped to be honest. It’s easier to impress one person than it is to impress 4 at the same time.
We have added a lot more influences from the different genres we are into. There is much more, grind, punk and black metal in this album.
I think me and Ryan work in a style that is constantly trying to impress each other. Always seeing how far we can push each other. We are also each other’s worst critics and I think that shows in the constant riff attack style of the album.
I have a „Gluttony“ in my MP3 player and I have to say that this album literally engulfed me. These are not just great ideas but also sound is simply devastating. I'm sitting in the tram, and suddenly I find myself shaking my legs. I have a feeling to start moshing. If I weren’t so old, I would probably start to. Where did you record and who is signed under mastering?
We recorded the album with Chris Fielding (Napalm Death, Conan, etc.) at Foel Studios. He has also mixed and mastered “Gluttony.”
Chris is great to work with. He really pushes you to give that extra 10% in the sessions. He also gives you a few ideas along the way, which I think is really helpful.
Who is the author of lyrics on „Gluttony“? What are they talking about? Where do you get inspiration for themes?
Me and Ryan put together most of the lyrical ideas on this album. With Ryan writing probably 80% of the content and Derek arranging and changing the lyrics to fit the songs better.
The general theme of the whole album is basically us looking at the greed and selfishness of humanity.
We were quite inspired by the general disgust in the way everyone is these days. That’s why the name “Gluttony” summed up the album perfectly. There isn’t a single person who wouldn’t be in that layer of hell.
Who is signed under the cover of „Gluttony“? I like his work very much. How did you choose the motif for cover?
The artwork was done by the amazing death metal artist, Roberto Toderico. We have had a few t-shirt designs done by him in the past and thought he would be great for the album.
We basically asked him to draw his version of Dante’s Infernos Gluttony layer of hell. I think he did a great job of it.
When we look back at the beginning ... What was the first impulse to found the band? And why the brutal death metal? It's not the typical style which can would give you great "glory".
We have always been huge death metal fans. It’s the genre that gives us the most pleasure to play live too.
Starting a band isn’t about the “Glory,” it was just about doing what we love to do. We have never (and probably will never) made any money from this band. Every penny goes straight back into Foetal Juice. Either in merch, petrol, recordings or anything else the band needs to progress.
You come from Britain and you play extreme death metal. Our readers would certainly wonder how the death metal scene works in Britain. To tell you the truth, so lately I hear only the great bands from there. Does this mean that the scene there is so strong at the moment? What about concerts, how many people coming to them?
The extreme metal scenes as a whole are great in the UK at the minute. There are so many good bands in all genres coming through, although I would say the Black Metal or Slam scene in the UK is taking off way more than the pure Death Metal scene. I think all that are poking through at the minute are the ones that have been working hard plucking away in the UK scene for years. It’s just a bit shit that as soon as we have so much talent to take to Europe, COVID and Brexit exist to stop any progress. (At least we have got an incredibly intelligent and trustworthy man in charge of the country who is sure the guide us through this shit storm).
From your music is possible to feel that you are influenced by American death metal school and as well by the old European bands. How do you feel about it as a fan? Do you prefer the original death metal of the 1990s or do you get inspiration as well from the new albums? If yes so I am wondering which bands had the greatest impact on FOETAL JUICE.
I think the good thing about us is that we are influenced by all kinds of extreme music from, Dismember, Entombed, Vomitory, Kaamos, At the Gates, Deicide, Cannibal Corspe, Death, Dissection, Immortal, Vader, Insect Warfare, Terrorizor, Desecration, Napalm Death etc.
I would say the main death metal influences are of the older styles but we also take on a lot of grind and black metal influences too. Basically anything aggressive catches our attention. At the minute bands like Weigidood and Cryptopsy and Kaamos are in heavy rotation for me.
What about you and concerts in general? Are you a band that goes for concerts anytime you can or you are picky about where you will play? Do you have a dream, maybe a group you would like to go with for a tour or festival, a city where you would like to perform?
We love playing everything we can to be honest. Of course we would love to play big festivals and tours, we are always up for any offers that come our way. This year would have been great for that but we get to look forward to coming over to the Czech Republic for Nice To Eat You Deathfest and possibly a few more dates next year. We are very much a “if you book us, we will come.” Kind of band.
At the end of the day, we just love playing shows and we love playing shows more if we get to get drunk and watch some other great bands afterwards.
I'm going to listen again your new album „Gluttony“. I have to say that for me personally, this is basically a perfect death metal work. Totally inferno. I wish big success to your record and to get this album to as many people as is possible. This album deserves it. I wish you all the best in your personal life. Probudím se o půlnoci a zase jsou tady. Mé noční můry, přízraky ze starých dob. Zvou mě na opuštěný hřbitov. Mrtvoly bez tváře, duchové zemřelých. Nejdřív mě zachvátí děs, ale jen do doby, než začnou hrát švédští LIK. Kapela, kterou u nás v podzemí vždycky rádi přivítáme. Pohostíme je shnilou mršinou a do krku jim narveme hnis a beznaděj. Pánové jsou opět tady a znovu chřestí pytlem plným kostí.
Odjištěný vlak, který jede přímo do pekla. Se skvělým, typicky severským zvukem, s obalem, který chcete mít na tričku. Zombie se znovu probudily a je jen na vás, zda podlehnete. Tahle hudba je určená pro všechny, kteří mají rádi death metal v jeho surové a syrové podobě. Nic víc, ale ani méně nehledejte.
Několik kilo špíny, mrazu, hromada tmy a prašivých kostí. Tohle všechno zamíchejte a podávejte na víku od rakve. LIK čerpají inspiraci u svých předků BLOODBATH, DISMEMBER, ENTRAILS, DEMONICAL, EVOCATION, GRAVE a dělají to výborně. Skladby mají spád, dobře se poslouchají. Vše vyznívá hodně heavy. Mám chuť vzít do ruky kladivo a jít do kostnice rozdrtit nějaké lebky. Cítím zde smradlavý odér exhumovaných hrobů, slyším zde nadšení a vidím partu kluků ze Švédska, jejichž hudba vás rozseká na kusy. Potvrdil jsem si svůj názor i při živém vystoupení. Tohle je zkrátka bruska, bez kompromisů, zbytečností. "Misanthropic Breed" je deskou, která musela vznikat na starém pohřebišti. Je neurvalá, prašivá, plesnivá a pukají u ní rakve tlakem. Pokud máte chuť spadnout do obrovského mlýnu na maso a nechat si rozdrtit svoje kosti, tak stačí přidat hlasitost. Dejte mi někdo pivo, dneska nejdu spát. Mejdan začíná. Zabírám si nejkrásnější zombie na hřbitově. Hrát nám k tomu budou LIK a země se otřese. Album je v podstatě dokonalou esencí toho, co si představujete pod pojmem švédský death metal. Devastující nahrávka, po které zůstává jen spoušť. Ozvěny z márnice!

I wake up at midnight and they're here again. My nightmares and ghosts from old times. They invite me to an abandoned cemetery. Faceless corpses, ghosts of the dead. At first, I am terrified, but only until the Swedish band LIK starts playing. A band that we are always happy to welcome in our underground. We dine them with the rotten carcasses and pour pus and despair into their throats. The gentlemen are here again and they rattle with a sack full of bones.
An unlocked train is going straight to hell. With a great, typically Nordic sound, with the cover art you want to have on your T-shirt. The zombies have woken up again and it's up to you if you succumb to it. This music is intended for everyone who likes death metal in its raw and brutal form. Don’t look for anything more or anything less.

LIK take inspiration from their ancestors BLOODBATH, DISMEMBER, ENTRAILS, DEMONICAL, EVOCATION, GRAVE and they do it great. The songs have a gradient, their listening is pleasure. Everything sounds very heavy. I would like to take a hammer in my hand and go to the ossuary to crush some skulls. I feel the stinky odor of exhumed graves here, I hear enthusiasm here and I see a bunch of boys from Sweden whose music will cut you into the pieces. I also confirmed my opinion during their live performance. This is simply a grinder, without compromise and other uselessness. "Misanthropic Breed" is a record that must have been created in an old burial ground. It is raw, dusty, moldy and coffins burst with pressure during playing this music. If you like falling into a huge meat grinder and crushing your bones, just add volume. Give me a beer, I'm not going to bed today. The party begins. I'm capturing the most beautiful zombie in the cemetery. LIK will play for us and the Earth will shake. The album is basically the perfect essence of what you imagine under the term Swedish death metal. A devastating recording, after which only the havoc remains. Echoes from the morgue!
Když mě ukládali do rakve, tak už ze mě byla jenom kostra. Skoro bez masa, se shnilými vnitřnostmi. Propadlé tváře a v lebce se mi proháněl jenom vítr. Byl na mě žalostný pohled, ale ještě jsem pořád trošku žil. Spustili rakev hluboko do země, naházeli na mě spoustu hlíny a nikdo neslyšel, jak zběsile škrábu na víko. Na pohřeb mi přišel jenom Satan se svými démony. Nikomu jsem nechyběl, nikdo mě nepostrádal. Prokletý a opuštěný.
Můj přechod na onen svět mi usnadnila nová deska finských špinavců SADISTIC DRIVE. Jejich prašivý death metal se stal mým průvodcem. Katakomby vydaly další svědectví. Surově, bez kompromisů, tak mě Finové rozsekali.
"Anthropophagy" je morbidní výpovědí, rozhovorem s nemrtvými. Totálně zničující záležitost nahraná v rytmu AUTOPSY, CARBONIZED, GALVANIZER, CADAVERIC INCUBATOR. S punkovými prvky ve skladbách. Hodně se mi líbí mokvající zvuk, s takovým tím smradlavým zápachem, řeže a pálí, ale zároveň je studený jako zmrzlá mršina. SADISTIC DRIVE vás vykostí svojí hudbou přesně a rychle. Spadnete do čerstvě vykopaného hrobu a budete zasypání ostatky starých těl. U podobně znějícího death metalu mám pocit, že se mi brzy rozskočí hlava, že pukne tlakem a energií. Necelých dvacet osm minut totálního šílenství, lámání žeber. Se skvělým obalem (Dayan Weller). "Anthropophagy" je jako hostina kanibalů, kteří díky pojídání lidského zkaženého masa přežili od devadesátých let až dodnes. Album má drive, je cítit, že bylo nahráno s nadšením a odhodláním. Navíc obsahuje v sobě takovou tu zvláštní temnou jiskru, kterou mám u kapel tolik rád. Finové mě pohřbili za živa, uspořádali mi panychidu, za kterou by se nemusely stydět o hodně větší jména žánru. Jdu si je znovu pustit žilou. Prašivý death metal, který vás roztrhá na kusy!

"Anthropophagy" is a morbid statement, a conversation with the undead. Totally devastating affair recorded in the rhythm of AUTOPSY, CARBONIZED, GALVANIZER, CADAVERIC INCUBATOR. With punk elements in the songs. I really like the putrid sound, with is such smelly, it cuts and burns, but at the same time it's cold as a frozen carcass. SADISTIC DRIVE will bone you with their music accurately and quickly. You will fall into a freshly dug grave and be covered with the remains of old bodies. With similar-sounding death metal, I have a feeling that my head will soon jump, that it will burst with pressure and energy. Less than twenty-eight minutes of total madness, breaking ribs. With great cover (Dayan Weller). "Anthropophagy" is like a feast of cannibals who, thanks to eating human spoiled meat, have survived from the 1990s to the present day. The album has a drive, it feels like it was recorded with enthusiasm and determination. In addition, it contains such a strange dark spark, which I like so much with bands.
