Už jste někdy poslouchali hudbu, u které jste měli pocit, že vám u ní někdo právě vystřelil mozek z hlavy? Pokud ne, tak si zkuste narvat do uší tuhle nahrávku. Je po okraj narvaná bestialitou, nenávistí, špínou a zahnívajícím masem. Nic pro slabé povahy, spíše se jedná o hudbu pro všechny, co mají rádi bolest.
Je cosi neuchopitelného, tajemného, divokého a nespoutaného, co z nové desky odtéká. Jako krev z čerstvě proříznuté tepny, jako atmosféra starodávného rituálu, který přežil do dnešních dní. Lidé se za svoji historii zase tolik nezměnili. Stále jsme ovládáni temnými pudy. A na ty tahle smečka útočí. A dělá to surově, nekompromisně a s opravdovou touhou zabíjet hudbou.
Pro někoho neznalého bude nové album jenom hlukovou, těžko definovatelnou stěnou, která když na vás spadne, tak vás rozdrtí na prach. Svým způsobem bude mít pravdu. Pro nás, pro jedince, co mají značnou morbidní fantazii, se ale jedná o krásný, zahnívající zážitek. Poslouchat "Rivalry of Thyself" je tako si číst černou kroniku. Hnusné představy se při poslechu stávají krutou realitou. Na počátku byl chaos a potom tahle hudba. Budete strženi do hlubiny, přikováni na zeď. Zničeni a pohřbeni zaživa. Teprve po své vlastní exhumaci pochopíte. Pokud máte rádi třeba takové BLASPHEMY, ANGELCORPSE, IMPIETY, DIOCLETIAN, potom si užijete i tuhle nahrávku. Starý, prašivý death metal se zde potkává s chladným black metalem, s hudebním terorem a barbarskou primitivní nenávistí. Budete zavřeni do chladných kobek, budete několik dní bez jídla a budete tančit na ostrých střepech. Maso vám postupně odpadá od kostí a teprve až se dostanete na samou hranu bolesti, pochopíte, o čem tahle deska je. Ne tady se nejedná o záležitost pro pozéry a čtenáře lesklých komerčních metalových časopisů. Tady se stanete obětí při krvavých rituálech. Pověšeni na háky se budete kývat do rytmu zabijáckých bicích. Ostré riffy vám odřežou maso od kostí a u vokálu, připomínající řev raněné šelmy, vám popraskají ušní bubínky. Na kusy rozsekaná těla.
