Pradávné předpovědi se splnily s krutou přesností. Lidé nepotřebují přírodní katastrofy, ani zásah z vesmíru, aby se totálně zničili. Stačí jim jejich vlastní temné myšlenky a nenávist. Všechny ty neuvěřitelné teorie a spiknutí o tom, že jsme ovládáni jako loutky bez duše, se nakonec potvrdily. Marast, hnus a špína, bída a utrpení, za všechno si můžeme jenom my sami. Nenávistné komentáře, krásné reklamy, raději utíkám na další krvavý black death metalový obřad. Zde alespoň cítím sílu a energii, tady je vše opravdové a ohlodané na kost.

Dánští tmáři LOTAN hrají od roku 2020 a mají na svém kontě ještě jedno dlouhohrající album a dvě EP. Jedná se do černé mlhy zahalený syrový a chladný kov smrti, který nepostrádá potřebnou naléhavou a divokou atmosféru. Oltář je znovu připraven, nové album hoří zevnitř. Je silné ve svých motivech, bolestivé ve zvuku, tajemné a záhadné, jako motiv na obalu. Pokud se rádi procházíte za rozbřesku na opuštěných hřbitovech, potom jste zde správně.

Když jsem nové album začal před několika měsíci poslouchat, při každém setkání mě mrazilo v kostech a tuhla mi krev v žilách. Mám rád, když ve mě dovede kapela probudit nějaké emoce, když se jí podaří rozdrásat moji duši do krve. Skladby jsou tu velmi dobře napsány, mají v sobě pověstnou jiskru, drive a jsou ušpiněné jako tělo zohavené mrtvoly, která tu zbyde po apokalypse, která už dávno začala v našich myslích. Tématem textů je dodnes platný příběh o Kainovi a Ábelovi, o celkovém úpadku lidstva jako celku. Zbylo nám už jenom násilí, jsme bezcitní k utrpení druhých. Rozhodně věnujte téhle stránce nahrávky pozornost, stojí opravdu za to. Hudebně se potom jedná o podobný zážitek, jako při poslechu kapel typu BEHEMOTH, HATE, BELPHEGOR, ANAAL NATHRAKH, případně MGLA. Když se nad tím zamyslíte, tak je vlastně velmi děsivé, co přinese blízká budoucnost. Další válku? Nějakou chorobu, která se nám dostane do podvědomí? Nebo nám budou stačit sociální sítě a internet? Mám rád alba, která mě donutí k zamyšlení, která v sobě mají jasné myšlenky, u kterých kývám souhlasně hlavou. "Yetzer Hara" přesně takové je. Plné nápadů, takového toho těžko definovatelného neklidu, magie i zvláštní přitažlivosti. Za moji maličkost nemohu jinak, než vám novinku doporučit. Je propracovaná po všech stránkách a zároveň nepostrádá živočišnost a touhu ničit. Rozerve vás zevnitř a zanechá po sobě dlouhou krvavou stopu. Pradávné předpovědi se splnily s krutou přesností. Lidé nepotřebují přírodní katastrofy, ani zásah z vesmíru, aby se totálně zničili. Stačí jim jejich vlastní temné myšlenky a nenávist. Nihilistický, divoký, chladný a temný black death metal plný vzdoru a divoké energie! Album ostré jako břitva, které řeže do živého!

Ancient prophecies have come true with cruel accuracy. People don't need natural disasters or intervention from outer space to destroy themselves completely. Their own dark thoughts and hatred are enough. All those incredible theories and conspiracies about us being controlled like soulless puppets have finally been confirmed. Danish dark metal band LOTAN has been playing since 2020 and has one full-length album and two EPs to their credit. It is raw and cold death metal shrouded in black fog, which does not lack the necessary urgent and wild atmosphere. The altar is ready again, the new album burns from within. It is strong in its motifs, painful in its sound, mysterious and enigmatic, like the motif on the cover. If you like to walk through deserted cemeteries at dawn, then you've come to the right place.

When I started listening to the new album a few months ago, it sent shivers down my spine and made my blood run cold every time I heard it. I like it when a band can stir up emotions in me, when they manage to tear my soul to shreds. The songs are very well written, they have that famous spark, drive, and they are as dirty as the mutilated corpse left behind after the apocalypse that began long ago in our minds. The theme of the lyrics is the still-relevant story of Cain and Abel, about the overall decline of humanity as a whole. All we have left is violence, we are insensitive to the suffering of others. Definitely pay attention to this side of the recording, it's really worth it. Musically, it is a similar experience to listening to bands such as BEHEMOTH, HATE, BELPHEGOR, ANAAL NATHRAKH, or MGLA. When you think about it, it is actually very frightening what the near future will bring. Another war? Some disease that will enter our subconscious? Or will social media and the internet be enough for us? I like albums that make me think, that have clear ideas that I nod my head in agreement with. "Yetzer Hara" is exactly that. Full of ideas, that hard-to-define restlessness, magic, and a strange appeal. I can't help but recommend this new release to you. It is sophisticated in every way, yet it doesn't lack animalistic energy and a desire to destroy. It will tear you apart from the inside and leave a long bloody trail behind.
