Ztracený v mlze, kráčím dál. Lekám se stínů, vůbec netuším, kdy dojdu cíle. Probuzen uprostřed noci samotnou dámou se jménem Smrt, vydal jsem se na cestu bez konce. Do záhrobí, do podsvětí. Potkávám své vlastní démony i umučená těla nevěřících. Hoď kamenem, kdož si bez viny. Spím a nebo se stal můj sen děsivou noční můrou? Netuším. Jediné, čím jsem si absolutně jistý je to, že se mi debutové album amerických death metalistů IMPERISHABLE dostalo hluboko do podvědomí.
Vždycky mám rád, když je smrtící kov ušpiněný black metalových chladem. Hudba tak získává na ještě větší naléhavosti, na tlaku a atmosféře. Tahle smečka sice debutuje, ale jinak je složená ze samých zkušených muzikantů. Alex Rush z OLKOTH, Brian Kingsland z NILE a za bicími Derek Roddy, u kterého snad nemusím nic dodávat. Máte tak jistotu, že o kvalitu a morbidně krásný zážitek je postaráno. Tohle album hoří zevnitř! Jasně, ostře a zřetelně!
Novinka "Revelation in Purity" je pro mě nejen poctivě odvedeným řemeslem, co se týká zvuku (Jamie King - mixing, mastering) a produkce (Brian Kingsland), ale také hudbou, která má v sobě velké množství zajímavých momentů, je skvěle a neotřele napsaná. Pánové ve své tvorbě volně odkazují na kapely jako MORBID ANGEL, ANAAL NATHRAKH. Navíc přidávají spoustu svých nápadů a invence. Líbí se mi celková nálada nahrávky, která ve mě evokuje vzpomínky na EMPEROR. Jako celek je potom novinka k dokonalosti vybroušeným drahokamem, dílem, ve kterém se pořád něco děje. Naleznete zde jak absolutně zničující pasáže, u kterých vám popraskají všechny kosti v těle, tak i naléhavé a zcela podmanivé kousky nahrubo nasekané tmy a chladu. Zapomenout nesmím ani na motiv na obalu, pod kterým je podepsán mexický umělec Néstor Ávalos. Zkrátka a dobře, pokud máte rádi tenhle styl, odrůdu smrtícího kovu, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Dostanete poctivou porci nasekaného syrového masa. Nudit se nebudete ani chvilku. Naopak, IMPERISHABLE vás přikovají na zeď v vyvrhnou z vás všechny vnitřnosti. A udělají to s elegancí starých mistrů, kteří ještě neztratili svěžest a touhu zabíjet hudbou. Marně jsem hledal na téhle desce nějaké slabé místo. Nenalezl jsem nic. Navíc mě opravdu baví se vracet a opakovaně si nové album rvát do hlavy pod tlakem. Za mě nelze jinak, než vám dát doporučení a označit nahrávku vysokou známkou kvality. Ztracený v mlze, kráčím dál. I always like it when death metal is tainted with the coldness of black metal. The music gains even more urgency, pressure and atmosphere. This pack may be making its debut, but otherwise it is composed of only experienced musicians. Alex Rush from OLKOTH, Brian Kingsland from NILE and Derek Roddy on drums, about whom I probably don't need to add anything. You can be sure that the quality and morbidly beautiful experience is taken care of. This album burns from the inside! Clear, sharp and distinct!
The new album "Revelation in Purity" is for me not only a well-done piece of work in terms of sound (Jamie King - mixing, mastering) and production (Brian Kingsland), but also the music, which has a lot of interesting moments, is excellently and originally written. In their work, the gentlemen freely refer to bands such as MORBID ANGEL, ANAAL NATHRAKH. In addition, they add a lot of their own ideas and inventions. I like the overall mood of the record, which evokes memories of EMPEROR in me. As a whole, the new album is a perfectly polished gem, a work in which something is always happening. You will find here both absolutely devastating passages, where every bone in your body will crack, as well as urgent and completely captivating pieces of roughly chopped darkness and cold. I must not forget the motif on the cover, which is signed by the Mexican artist Néstor Ávalos. In short, if you like this style, this type of death metal, don't hesitate for a moment. You'll get a fair portion of chopped raw meat. You won't be bored for a moment. On the contrary, IMPERISHABLE will pin you to the wall and vomit all your guts out. And they'll do it with the elegance of old masters who haven't lost their freshness and desire to kill with music. I searched in vain for any weak spot on this album. I found nothing. Moreover, I really enjoy going back and repeatedly beating my head over the new album under pressure. For me, there's nothing else to do but give you a recommendation and mark the record with a high mark of quality. Lost in the fog, I keep walking.
